Taco Time

I only go to this place about once every 6 months or so, but when I do, it’s always tasty. Especially the crispy burritos, the ranch, and their Fresh Lime drink. They do those items very, very well.

Bangerter Crossing — The plan to meet up just after sunset at the Bangerter Crossing Taco Time was placed on a momentary hold as Grandma came to visit and I had to exchange brief pleasantries. Regardless of my tardiness, the staff at TT handled my order in stride and I was given the pleasure of eating with Family. +1 But let’s not get ahead of ourselves…
As I stepped out of my car into the warm summer air, the green neon sign shined as a Gatspyesque lantern prompting me to enter. A swoosh of air-​conditioned air painted happiness over my face, which surprised my Brother and his wife who typically are greeted by my sullen, emotionless expressions. +1
A rookie customer more familiar with a lesser establishment was ahead of me.
«Oh great…» I thought to myself as she kept asking for the «supreme with sour cream» versions of everything on the menu. Alas, this did not hinder the staff nor place them in sour moods. They handled it like the champs at In N Out would have (if not better) and assisted the customer with a similar product that did in fact have sour cream. +1
Now came my turn to order. As previously mentioned I can be a bit short-​worded, especially when late, and the staff had the order taken and ready in a jiffy: no fuss no muss, two hard shell tacos and two crisp juan burritos, for just 5 $…and a cup for water. +1 Note that from a previous visit I have upgraded from the crisp pinto to the crisp juans at the recommendation of one of the food making staff. Never looked back ever since.
As always, the food was hot and just what I was expecting, the jalapeños at the salsa bar were slammin’, and the music selection was alternative. Not to mention the lime in my water (also from the salsa bar) was delectable.
To cap it all off, as I left, the staff asked how everything was, a gesture of kindness not commonly offered by even the top establishments in my economic range. +1 Now I didn’t experience the drive-​thru, so I can’t speak to that, but if you’re looking for a class act, fast food joint, look no further.

40+ minute wait time, 2 times in one month for a fast food is a joke. Dive 20 minutes further for the next closest one and it will be faster.

Love this place. Great crisp bean burritos. Parking sucks like most of Drapers restaurants do or should I just say Draper in general. Friendly people and fast service. Prices are great. Seating is great.
