The Fabric Farm

I only gave a one-​star review once, when I was menaced by a loose dog inside the store. Otherwise, this would be a one-​star.
When I stopped in, it was on a quilt run. I called to get directions, and the person I spoke with couldn’t tell me how to get to the store, couldn’t tell me the street address, and told me the wrong exit to take off of the freeway. Once we arrived, the fabric selection was small and poor, the samples were adequate at best, and the employees told me ‘smile, it can’t be that bad,’ very condescending and sexist. Things were exactly that bad, and I’ve never heard a man be told to smile.
I would only stop here again if they’re included on the Quilt Safari, but I don’t think they should be. It was a waste of time and money to go there.

What a cute little shop in the middle of «no-​where». The owners, Debbie and Sam have picked a very fine selection of fabric and offer reasonably priced classes and yarn. They also have a huge quilting machine. The classes offed twice each month are very affordable. Nice friendly folks with a quality product.
