We usually live this place but feel it’s really gone downhill the past year or so. Last night my husband and I walked in at 9:50 which I know is a little late but door said on Weds they were open until 11PM so we thought it was plenty of time to eat a quick late din. The hostess was counting money at front desk and wouldn’t even look up until we finally asked for a table. She rudely told us the kitchen was closing in 8 minutes. I asked why the door said open until 11. She snapped back that kitchen was only open that late on Fridays. I walked back to look at the door which clearly read it was open until 11 and Weekends until 12. I suggest changing the door hours and having a nicer hostess.

What a fabulous party we had this morning! The food was generous and delicious. The fruit display was inviting and ridiculously fresh. Service staff and management were all accommodating and insightful! Can’t wait to go back!

My husband and I love the Cobb salad and will get it for take-out once or twice a month. Occasionally we’ll go for lunch in the bar side of the restaurant and it’s usually pretty good. We decided to try breakfast at O & O’s today and were very disappointed. We were seated at a booth that was so tight(we’re not big people!) that he kept kicking me accidentally under the table and the table was almost right up against us. The surface of the table was permanently«sticky». It was clean, but difficult to move things around on and my paper napkin stuck to the surface. Our server was pleasant but after she took our beverage order, another service brought our coffee to us with no cream and no offer for cream so we had to sit there with our coffee and wait for someone to come by so we could ask for cream. The breakfast choices on the menu were plentiful but the food was just meh… My husband got a 3-egg omelet that was very small for 3 eggs! The roasted potatoes were overly seasoned and the the corned beef hash was just ok. Very disappointing breakfast.

Pretty disappointed. As soon as you walk in the door you are hit with the smell of musty old food, not the fresh smell of food coming out of the kitchen. Appetizer sampler plate was bland, lacked basic salt and pepper. Steak tips came out cold. The fish from the Fish and Chips was incredibly overcooked, I had to crack the batter«shell» with my knife to remove it. Chicken Parm was tender, but the sauce was horrible, it was like chewing on Italian seasoning. We had been here a few years ago and were disappointed but had heard that things had changed. Our mistake going back!

6pm Friday night, ½ hour wait, nothing crazy. Great atmosphere, open bar, huge function room(birthday party was going on) Irish nachos were good — would have liked a little more meat and little less dressing on the top. Drinks were good — tall mixed, plenty of alcohol /soda mix. The ‘drunken Irishmen’ — looks like a blue Hawaiian, but to it’s name, packs a kick ! Food was tasty. .. . Will be back

Pretty disappointed. LOVED this place on my first visit, came again ordered the same meal(½lb steak tips medium rare) and was served 5 small cube sized overcooked pieces of steak. If they were running low I wish they would’ve mentioned it and I would’ve made a different choice. Aside from that disappointment, good service and heavy pours.

My boyfriend and I decided to try Owen and Ollie’s for the first time together. I had been there about 4 years ago for a family member’s birthday and I really didn’t remember what the food was like. So yesterday we went for lunch and I ordered the white pizza which was terrible. The owner /manager(not sure of his actual role) said to me that I should have stuck to what I knew and ordered the red sauce pizza. Actually sticking to what I know means I wouldn’t be sitting in your restaurant ordering food as I frequent other local restaurants and was at your place for the first time. I understand that not everyone likes the food they order, my bf loved his burger and the fried pickles we got for an appetizer was delicious, my rating was for the frankly out of line comment from a manager to a customer who was sending food back. I don’t see me eating here any time soon.

Slow service, bland food and overpriced for what it is. Good pour on Guinness draft though. Not likely to return. If so, only for drinks & apps…

I am here all the time as I live right around the corner. Very comfy place to go have a beer after work or just go to dinner with the family or bf/gf. The bar is my favorite area. Service is quick and the bartenders are always great. Taking one star off for the price of the food, which I find a little too pricey(I usually just stick to beers here.) I have seen others post disappointing reviews about the food, but I have never had a problem with it. Then again, I mostly just get the appetizers. Also, you can get a booth with a tv to keep the kids quiet. It can get a little loud when it’s busy as it is a big, open space but that can be said about anywhere.

Have been there many times since it so close to my house. The food is not great, it is mediocre at best and it is over-priced for the quality. I have not found a meal yet that I would order a second time so I just don’t eat there anymore. Even the salad dressing was watered down and flavorless. The absolutely worst clam chowder, I would rather have canned chowder. Food is always over cooked and very bland! Nice ambiance and clean. The only reason to go there is for the live entertainment they have on the weekends and its a also great place for a beer and to watch the game. Also they have a nice outside patio. But eat elsewhere! I don’t know what happened, but it seems like the food has gone downhill a lot. If you are looking for a place to eat I would not recommend Owen and Ollie’s.

Delicious food overall. Good specials. Fun, family atmosphere. Loaded Tortillas and fried pickles are favorite appetizers. Great chicken pie, corned beef dinners, sirloin tips, Guinness Stew is awesome. Friendly staff but sometimes gets slow when busy. Great live music and excellent bar.

WTF happened to this place?! I used to go because the burgers were so yummy and always cooked just how I asked. The past 2x I’ve been this year, I had horribly slow and generally bad service(once we had to ask for silverware… really?!) AND my burgers were way over cooked. I had hoped it was just bad luck the first time but now I wont be returning again

The third star is purely for Julie the«stand-in manager» and very first face we saw upon entering Owen and Ollie’s for our very first time. With a smile and welcoming demeanor, she was informative about the menu’s vegetarian options. Above all she was friendly, engaging, accommodating and cheerful. Julie invited us to take a look around while we waited for our food. The atmosphere is cozy, comfy and laid back without being dive-y. I could easily see myself unwinding on the patio with a glass of wine, or catching a game inside. That’s why it was so incredibly disappointing that the food was such a mess. I ordered the Mixed Mushroom and Spinach Penne in a Garlic Butter and Marsala Wine Sauce. Sadly, the marsala hadn’t been cooked off ATALL and my pasta was sitting in a little over a quarter cup of wine. Each bite made you reek like a wino and was totally unpalatable. My fiancé ordered the Vegetable Scampi on(fall-apart-if-you-look-at-it-the-wrong-way overcooked) Angel Hair Pasta. Quite the opposite of my experience, his meal was bland and tasted nothing at all of the white wine sauce since it was sat in a pool of vegetable sweat and tomato water. It’s a shame because we both wanted to like this place with its convenient location. But unless the food improves we won’t be back anytime soon. Kim L.(yours was the only managers’ business card I grabbed) If you happen to see this — Julie is a gem and the kitchen needs a stern talking-to.

We have been here a couple of times and it is our new favorite place in this area for atmosphere and for food. Its very nice inside and the bar has a lot of seating. We have tried to buffalo chicken tenders and the fried pickles, both were the best we ever had(we don’t say that lightly). The bartenders were very attentive and friendly each time we went. We will definitely be going back more often.

The food is not great and over priced. They have half price apps which is helpful. This place is overall very slow, as it takes forever to get the orders. Half the time they don’t have what is on the menu, it seems like they run out of everything. The staff is alright, they don’t seem to like their job. The only reason to come here is the live entertainment they have on the weekends. Other than that I would not be coming back. If you are looking for a place to eat I would not recommend Owen and Ollies.

Food is always decent but over priced for quantity. Bar staff is above average and drinks are average priced for area. I’ve been bringing groups here for dinners and weekly for dinners with family for years with no regrets until 2÷12÷15 when the owner had staff switch off mma fights because he is not a sports lover … talked to other folks in vestibule as we left who were just as unhappy. oh well fun while it lasted. bye bye Owen and Ollies!

Went last summer & had a GREAT lobster roll. Went back this week to find a PRICEY new menu. It isn’t great — no more lobster. Ward had«just fair» sliders w/a salad & I had the baked scallops which were“just ok” as well. Menu lists beef stew for $ 18.99. Comes with bread. That is ridiculous for beef stew! Nice atmosphere, lovely bar area & decent wait staff but the food is «just OK». There are better places in Dracut, in my opinion.

The ambience here is great, as it is in an old Mill building. there are fireplaces both on the bar and the dining room side. My wife and I usually like to go for the drinks. The food is okay. Not great. We have learned, forget anything and it’s usually appetizers. That said, we do still go there and enjoy it when we go.

I do have to say I was ravenous and tired by my 9pm dinner but I don’t put much into that. I really was surprised and pleased by the quality of meals my party and I enjoyed at this pub. Decent table bread, great french onion soup, and fresh hearty sandwiches: all good. The pasta selection was diverse and very tasty for a generic pub; my father’s spinach Gorgonzola pasta was surprisingly light and dressed with sweet sticky balsamic vinegar. I loved my turkey flat bread sandwich which was full of turkey(not home roasted but not generic sliced) and nestled within soft wheaty folds. Service was slow for a quiet hour but there were 13 of us… and the restaurant is chilly-maybe I should have simply ordered a tall beer of which there are many. All in all a very good pub experience.
