Good for kids. The lady was very patient with my 1 year old twin boys. Went on a Tuesday and loved the fact that it was their half priced day of the week. So saved me $$ which is good cuz I got double kids. Plan on continuing to take my sons

First time here today. My oldest got a hair cut while the baby played with all the toys there. Very awesome place for kids. The employees were very nice and professional. Its like a play house for kids there.
My oldest just wanted her bangs cut and they did a good job. Very friendly and even gave both my kids a lollipop after the visit.
Credit card transactions are an extra $ 1 fyi so best to pay cash so you dont have that transaction fee added. Privatelot in the back they share with a hotel. Its not too packed there so not a long wait and no issues with parking.

The barber alone is why I’m giving pelitos 5 stars. Milano treated our two year old (who was not happy to be getting his haircut btw) like a champ. He was very nurturing and looked out for our son’s comfort. He made sure our son walked away with a great hair cut. Thanks milano!

It was my sons first time attending Pelitos, Maria was amazing with him. I definitely recommend this place, it’s very kid friendly!

I’m looking for another hair salon for my kids. They don’t have the $ 10 special anymore (Tuesday and Thursday). I bit too pricey for me.

4^th time here and they’ve only done a good job once! I kept trying to give them chances but dam no matter who does it they just keep messing up. Sure it’s a nice place for kids since they have toys and kids can play but when I take my kid in with long hair and ask to keep it long and even take a picture to show them then I expect you to keep it long like I asked. And she has the audacity to say well it looks good short. Uuuum yeah but that’s not what I asked you to do and your opinion doesn’t matter because I wanted it long in the front and you just did whatever you wanted. And according to other reviews on here it seems like they just do what they want. Uuugh! I know it’s hair and it’ll grow but he had pictures today and I was really upset that I couldn’t even comb it like I wanted. Definitely not coming back anymore!

Great service at Pelitos. The stylist was patient and worked well with my little guy. However, the little car they put him in was quite dirty. They vacuum it after every use, but I didn’t see any sanitizing. Thankfully, I always carry sanitizing wipes and took care of the problem myself. I would recommend it, just bring your own wipes!!!

I have an autistic son that has a very hard time with noses by his ears and every time we go for a hair cut he loses his mind but they all seem very patient with him and his melt downs.

Everyone was so friendly. My daughter enjoyed her hair cut she did not cry at all or move. They have so much patient. And it’s really nice and super baby friendly, they have toys, a slide.

I GPSd Pelitos while in the neighborhood. I showed up 15 minutes before opening time, and the employee opened exactly at 10am. Service was almost immediate. The hair stylist was courteous and the environment is kid friendly. She was patient with our 1 year old son for his first hair cut. Big ups to the race car stations! Walked away with a certificate, a family photo, and lock of hair. So cute!

Went in for a trim and came out with uneven sides, and botched. I should have known better since I have a wedding to attend this weekend. Workers are friendly and sweet but if you can’t cut hair don’t

This place is cute for a first haircut. They will take a photo, give you a certificate and lock if hair in a Baggie.
Most of the staff does a good job cutting hair but for boy haircuts I recommend Manolo (sp). The man at the front desk is very friendly. The female, is a hit or miss.
There’s some things for kids to play with while you wait. I recommend going on weekdays for less or no wait. I believe they also coupons or on their website or a discount certain weekdays.
This place could be a little cleaner.
After the haircut you child can take a toy. They aren’t really good quality & for kids older than 3. I’m not complaining, we just pass.

I was very excited to try pelitos out. But upon my arrival the toys and the place looked very dated a bit dirty and dingy. Which I understand that children do play with these toys but I wish they would have been a bit cleaner. The lady that cut my child’s hair name was Gloria. She was an older lady that seemed to be more concern with brushing off the hair of herself then cutting my child’s hair and wanting to cut my child’s hair the way she wanted other then what I was asking for. I really wished I would have waited for one of the other ladies that seemed to have more patience with the kids and seemed to have more knowledge when it came down to cutting kids hair. I wouldn’t have minded to pay the $ 16 dollars for the hair cut if the experience would have been better.

Adriana was patient with my boy and fast to cut his hair. Owner Marcelo was nice too :)

Decent haircuts they are not the best but good enough for a two year old that cries during the haircut. They are super overpriced 16 dollars for a kids cut is ridiculous! Once my toddler sits without crying I’m going to take him to a skilled barber. So if you have a crying baby that hates haircuts come here they have lots of patience and they get the job done

The first time I went I told the lady with the very short hair how I wanted it for my son and she did her own thing and he ended up with spikey hair, when I wanted a comb over. It didn’t look bad so I didn’t say anything and thought my son looked cute and it was $ 10 so not bad. Second time, I asked for a comb over again and showed a different lady with long hair and only spoke Spanish a picture and she did her own thing! I was pissed this time because unlike the first time, it came out ugly! No lines, no nothing! Just a trimmed head. That’s it! I paid $ 16 for a trimmed head! Also the cashier asked if I wanted to leave a tip so I left two bucks because I didn’t want to be mean. Also, Apparently their prices went up and didn’t care to say anything worst $ 18 investment!
You got to hate it when suppose «hair stylists» do their own darn thing ! I don’t think the second lady had much experience on cutting hair because she made multiple errors and tried to cover it up! Although I love the atmosphere, I will never take my son there again!

I am so happy I found this place! I would drive to riverside and have Monkey Dooz cut my sons hair, but I’m tired of the drive. This place is a lot closer and I am very happy with the results. My son is a screamer and Luisana did a great job on his hair. They have toys inside for the kids to play with (a slide, kitchen set, blocks…). The prices are good too! I am definitely bringing my son back!

I just got back from cutting my 16month olds hair. He absolutely LOVED IT!!! He did great considering he hates our family barber… LOL…it’s to scary for him right now so Pelitos will definitely be his spot till then. A big thank you to Daisy who took her time on my son and was very patient, talked to him the whole time.

Totally agree! Really patient woman to cut a crying infants hair, but it could really use some deep cleaning. This germs phobic mom isn’t going to let her infant play with any toys.
Also, pelitos would’ve been better if it was just a kids Salon and not adults.
