Marissa’s Cake

This place is wonderful! The staff provides excellent service even with last minute orders. I will never consider ordering cakes, cookies, pastries or desserts from any other place. Not only are your requests made to order but, they are gorgeous and delicious. The cakes are moist and the fillings yummy. Recently I bought a cake for my friend’s baby shower who was diagnosed with gestational diabetes. I called Marissa and she was able to accommodate my request for a cake with half the sugar. The cake was amazing! It was so so so good and you couldn’t taste the difference between this and a regular cake; not to mention beautiful. So, please ignore any negative comments from other customers because I find them to be baseless. You will not go wrong or regret ordering from this place. The cakes are worth every penny! Just take in a picture of what you want and Marissa will take care of the rest. I love her cakes!

im sorry but i have to say the cake i order for sat oct 31 was horrible it tasted like it was a couple of days old so dry, im very disappointed of this bakery the fondant was really hard im never ever ordering from this bakery again and the worst thing is that their so expensive

Hello everyone it’s been a while that I haven’t wrote a review. But today I again love the results. It was a great cake and my baby and everyone else loved it. Thank you Marisa for my cake and cup cakes. It came out the way I pictured it.

I can’t say enough about how delicious Marissa’s cakes are. Definitely my number one choice for cakes and pastries. I’ve ordered several cakes from Marissa and it seems like everytime their taste is always better and keeps getting better. It is really hard for some bakers to make really good fondant, I can tell you her fondant cakes taste really really good!!! I love how she says that the secret ingredient to make her cakes taste sooo deliscious is «making cakes with lots of love» she loves what she does and that is what makes her a great baker. Her and her husband are so down to earth its a pleasure to work with them. By the way, if you havent tried them yet, you have to try their «alfajores» peruvian cookies they are super delicious :) Thanks Marissa for making both of my baby’s cakes yesterday, everyone loved the «dulce de leche» and «red velvet with cream cheese cakes» we love your cakes!!!

ordered my son’s 1^st. birthday cake here. Amazingly good and it came out just the way I pictured it in my head!.. I definitely recommend this place!

This is my new go to spot for cakes for all my major events! I recently ordered a cake for my 21^st birthday. All you need to do is show them a picture of what you want and they replicate it perfectly. For the flavor I got white cake with cajeta for my first tier and for the second tier I got white cake with chocolate mousse. It was delicious and my guest loved it! So much that I wasn’t able to indulge in leftovers the next day because there weren’t any left! Service was excellent, you can really tell these people know what they are doing. My only problem is if you want your cake on a Saturday they only give you an hour in the morning to pick up your cake. Another thing I would like to see is a display of cake flavors to taste.

Marissa’s cake is forever my bakery. I just picked up my sons minion birthday cake yesterday and we all loved it wouldn’t trade this place ever! Amazing and creative cakes.

I have not actually picked up my cake yet, But if their food is anywhere near as good as their customer service, This will become my official bakery for life. Here is why.
My niece is turning 11 on Sunday, I have been planning this party for a long time, I hired a lady to make her cake, I got a phone call this morning that her husband had passed and she would not be able to make the cake.
I felt so bad for this women, I totally understand, But now I am also desperate with less than 72 hours until the party starts. I called a dozen bakeries. Every single one said they need 2 weeks notice for the design an type of cake I wanted. Then I called Marissas, They were wonderful. I was told do not worry about the time frame they will have it done and ready for party Sunday. I went in and gave a deposit and noticed store hours say Closed on Sundays. They told me it was ok they would meet me their with cake Sunday morning. So these people are willing to go out of their way in order to please a customer. Thank you Marissas Cake

I went to this place today in the morning at 11:00 am, for my surprise the place was close. I call the number at the door the person who answer the phone and open the door told me «I am buying merchandise» .Please as a Bakery you should get your merchandise a day before or at 4:00 am. The place needs to be clean.

I’ve ordered about 6 cakes from Marissa and they have all been amazing. She never disappoints me and always gives me what I’ve asked for. She is so creative and so detailed with her work. I recommend her to anyone looking for not only a beautiful cake but DELICIOUS as well!

I’ve ordered a few cakes from Maritza for clients as well as for myself. I’m so glad I found her. She’s such a pleasure to work with, very easy going. I normally bring her a picture of my ideas and she executes them nicely.
Her cakes are always a huge hit at my parties. They taste delicious, that’s a plus for me. Don’t hesitate to contact her, you won’t regret it.

I’ve ordered 4 cakes from this shop and they never disappoint! I take a picture and an idea and they work with me! I am NOT A fondant lover so the substitute for me is butter cream which is amazing! The thing about fondant cakes is that they are so processed and usually the cake is not moist anymore BUT here they actually are! I had to order a fondant cake once for my godson! I always get cajeta so good people always ask where I get the cakes from, last cake I ordered was a baby shower cake and one layer was strawberry which to my surprise since I’m not a fan was so delicious!

She’s created some awesome looking cakes for my family. I give her pictures and verbal instructions how I want them done and she creates them even better. On the taste, it’s «okay», they can be more of the dry side so it’s best to ask her for a moist cake.
