I live across the st it took a while for me to notice it since it’s a hole in the wall but now I go there every morning for fresh great tasting coffee and fresh bread. I get tamales every weekend for breakfast. And you leave feeling happy supporting a local business like this one.

Little whole in the wall but bread is always fresh. Mom and popped owned so you’re contributing to the community and not corporate when you pay. Friendly owners. Must try at least once and you will be a regular.

It’s a small, little hole in the wall bakery but many delicious baked items to choose from. This is the only bakery that I know of, that sells two types of bolillos, white & wheat. I’ve had the following: –bolillos –pan de queso(what we call cheesecake but it’s nothing like the American version) –cream cheese & jalapeño bread –Mexican cupcakes –individual cake slices And they are all so good! During cold/rainy seasons, the goods fly off the shelf quick so make sure to go early. Two things I don’t like: 1. The area, even though it’s across the street from Downey Landing, the area is not so good. There’s always this kid, no older than 17, asking for money and doesn’t like to take no for an answer. 2. The prices are a little much, other bakeries have deals if you buy a dozen of sorted breads or 4 bolillos for $ 1.25 — not here– all prices are per piece.
