Supercuts

Oh man! So I just went to this place to get my hair fixed. I have half my head shaved to a 5 and the other half I wanted a buttload of layers put in. Normally when I go somewhere, they just fix the shaved part and put a few layers in only for it to be boring. Susan, at super cuts in Dover NH, made the lines of my shaved part more distinguished, took time to trim all the little fly-​aways and around my ear and tattoos, layered it to perfection (like I had no idea how to describe it and she went with it), never judged me for the way I basically destroy my hair with all the bleaching, and took her time to make it look great! She even offered how they could bleach it for me (way to upsell ;-)) but didn’t make it uncomfortable or pushy. Which now I might do next time I go back. She was also very professional and seemed to enjoy herself. Even the person ringing me out (her name is Drew) said she could put designs in the shaved part next time I come in. Everyone seems super willing to make things fun. This was a very great experience.

I had the most amazing experience at Dover Super Cuts. I usually do not like getting my hair cut at any salon but the staff was very welcoming and made me feel comfortable. I was very happy with my hair cut and the service that was provided. Britney is the person who cut my hair. I would definitely recommend this salon to others. Britney was helpful in determining what products I should use to take care of my new hairstyle.

«15 Minutes» doesn’t mean an hour. If you want me to wait an hour to get a Supercut, tell me that it’ll take an hour to get to me. How can their perception of time be so distorted? Can’t comment on the service because we haven’t received any yet.
Been here before, it was okay, but posting here just to make sure that you know if it’s busy, they’ll drastically exaggerate the amount of time it will take to get your Supercut.

Good guy cut for my friend. I asked for a wash and a blow out and ended up with so much product on my hair. I was not happy at all. As a result my style fell flat. I was not happy. They were not going to charge me but that was not the point. I left $ 20 on the counter and left, ticked off that I wasted my time. I have really thick hair and hate hotel showers and thought I would pay to get a good wash and style. Was I ever wrong. Three stars for the guy cut. Zero stars for mine.

Okay this review inparticular is for Adam.
I’ve gone to this Supercuts a billion times, they always do fine. BUT– this time it was REALLY a great job.
I had Adam as my stylist who I have never had before, though apparently he’s been there for years. Though his haircut did take longer than usual (usually its like 10 – 15 minutes, it was more like 30 minutes) it was WELL worth it. He was friendly, talkative, and very funny and more importantly he knew exactly what he was doing.
I am calling ahead next time to ask for him, particular. I’ve heard many people say the same thing about him. He gets some flack from the other stylists there for taking longer with haircuts, but seriously— well worth it. My hair looks fantastic.
The cut was like $ 15– I paid $ 25 because I wanted him to know what a great job he did. And I dont mind it took a little longer, infact it made me feel good he wanted to do the job right and exceptionally well instead of just fast.
