This place used to be awesome like 5 years ago when it was still asia buffet. Quality has really suffered lately. The buffet food looked like it was sitting for a while and the sushi really tasted bad. The location is horrible and business probably suffers because no one knows its there. A lot of businesses have been closing in this area and I would no be suprised is king buffet goes soon.

I’m giving this place two stars for convenience of location and passable food — all the usual Chinese entrees but the staff are extremely rude the last few times we went there. So we stopped going! The upholstery on the seats was all taped up at the old Landing location and the A/C was out on an extremely hot day — no fans. We will give them another try in the near future to see if they’ve changed their attitude at the new Douglas Blvd location or have added new people who know how to treat paying customers.

This address is no longer correct… the old location shut down a while back, since the shopping center had pretty much died. New location is on Douglas Blvd and just reopened on new Years Eve. ITISNOTTHESAMEASATLANTICBUFFET. It is bright and cheerfully decorated. Food is VERY Fresh, sushi good, Parking a little bit of a squeeze. Servers still need a little bit of work. They were voted a ‘Best of” in the past. I think this could do it again. I am so glad they have re-opened.

I still do not understand the fascinations with buffets. I dont eat that much, so I’d rather the food I DO eat be tasty rather than plentiful. Most of the food here was etible, but I didnt see ONE thing out on the buffet tables that would make me go back.

Ok guys so this used to be Asia Buffet before new management took over. I have been to both Asia and King Buffet and needless to say I prefer Asia Buffet(old owner). The location for this establishment is horrible. there is barely any foot traffic unless you are going to Toys’r’us or Micheal’s across the street or paying your comcast bill next door. there is a sign for it on Chapel Hill Road but I doubt that it helps. So yesterday my husband an I went for the lunch buffet priced at a nice $ 5.75 per person(not bad) There was a whole array of food such as Mussels(on the shell) Crawfish, Shrimp(peel yourself) two kinds of sushi, dumplings, shumai, chicken with broccoli, kung pao shrimp, fried shrimp, soup, teriyaki chicken etc etc. I tried a handful of this and like the food alot. for the price you can’t beat it. not every dish is a hit I must say but its all about about trying it first and the judging for your self. The food was replenished quite fast and the waitresses were always around if you needed anything. the only thing that was bothersome to me was that since my hubby is a vegetarian he has nothing to eat except fried rice and lo mean =(PEOPLE where are your tofu dishes(not everyone eats meat). the last owner would make it fresh for us when my husband asked so it was a little disappointing. I hope this helps. The next time I go there will be to try the dinner buffet. I think its 13.95 if you want crab legs too but if not then its a bit cheaper. New review to follow.
