Worst best buy ever slow service and the sales associates are terrible, called and they put me on hold for like 15 minutes, not only that they were rude

Visited their store in the mall. Miss Alica, the customer service associate, was amazing. She not only took into account that I was in a wheel chair and did her best to instead of having me chase her around the store as she looked for product, she got me the product I wanted and met me at the counter. She also helped me apply the product to my phone without complaint and was willing to talk to me through everything. She was friendly and helpful and makes me want to return for all my mobile needs.

Bad experience at this store. Size and location of store limits available products and certain services. In my case it was the cell phone trade in that was not available.

It has been my motto on all my reviews to give credit where credit is due and THANKSTOONEEMPLOYEE, this entire store has managed to earn 4 stars. Once may ask, well, how did that happen? A big round of applause to a clearly hard working, dedicated, and all in all wonderful guy Chris in the electronics/computer department. He is the one who had dark curly hair just so that we don’t get confused. I will tell you all the good, the bad, and the ugly of my experience here today and how Chris still manage to bring this company off of the stink hole I have once thrown them in … I was in a pursuit for a laptop — exactly what laptop it was, I did not know. Although, I did know that I want this, and this, and that, and oh my goodness me, maybe that too. I went to Sam’s Club, HhGregg, shopped at a couple of online stores before I finally convinced myself to come back to Best Buy — but today was not a good day since I could not seem to find the«one.» As for my experience with the other stores, that will be a separate review. Let’s focus on BB o. k? As I walked in, I made a bee line towards the computer section. As I buzz around and check out the goods, I noticed a couple of mid 40’s gentleman who were clearly into their search for a good computer as well. I buzzed around some more not only paying attention to the products but looking for a good person to get good customer service from, and I am ever so thankful to have been helped by Chris. I will personally a compliment to corporate for the wonder experience I encountered with Chris. I told him what I wanted and he quickly broke my street lingo to spec savvy language. By the end of my visit, I held so much more knowledge than I ever thought I can have from a store in order to help me decide on the perfect laptop. I was felt so comfortable due to his help that I actually came back for the second time that day and bought a laptop from Best Buy! Now isn’t that nice Best Buy Corporate? I brought in hubby with me, who knows a lot about computers as well, and he approved everything that Chris advised me with. We bought a new laptop within 30 minutes of my second visit, and I give Chris the highest of all my praises. I dont want to over do, but oh what the hell, the good fella deserves it — Chris, you are the best person we have ever came across in a place of business. Absolutely helpful and a wonderful asset to your company. I did have to return the laptop we bought a week later since the computer was faulty, but all in all it was a great experience due to a good worker and he deserves to be recognized.

Every now and then this place does something to make me return. I can’t say that it’s my favorite store however, it hardly ever fails me. The customer service seems to be improving and the sales are even a tad bit better than they use to be. My most recent visit left me with a big smile. I took a stroll through the place not intending on purchasing anything, just doing my usual«let me make sure im not missing anything» type of walk through. I then left the store and went to the other electronic store in douglasville. I went to pick up a purchase. Well after receiving less than favorable customer service, I walked out, returned to Best Buy and purchased a TV. The salesman who assisted me actually remembered me from a previous purchase I made 2 months earlier. Way to go with imporving your customer service and securing repeat customers.

Best Buy certainly didn’t invent bad customer service, but this particular location has perfected it to an art form. From managers who do not care and will have those who complain escorted from the premesis to cashiers who cannot make change with out the aid of calculators and computers much less operate the computer that they use to check you out. Ignorant does not adequately describe the average cashier at this store. They even credited gift items that we returned to the original purchaser instead of to a gift card as any other stores well trained employee would. This store drags the bottom of the barrel when it comes to customer service.

I so badly wanted to like this place. I love electronics and sadly, best buy is the only decent electronic store left around here… I mean there is radio shack at the mall but my room is bigger than that place and I probably own more electronics and wires than they do … So, here I am, a techie, in Best Buy. I even opened up a credit card in good faith that me and this store will be good buddies. Boy was I wrong. Im not sure if the workers here gets commission or they have to meet a quota, but I bought a laptop here a year ago, completely trusted the cashier, paid for my laptop and didnt think any more of it. I had bought a couple of other things with the laptop so I didnt have the exact price in mind. A year later, I come across the folded receipt of my laptop and what do I see? The cashier UNLAWFULLYADDEDINSURANCE for my laptop. It was only about no more than 20 – 30 bucks but still! They asked me if I wanted that scam of an extension in the manufacturer’s warranty and I declined. Im a programer and I can fix my own damn computer, and this employee went against my wishes and slyly added it anyway. I feel so violated and I know they will say«you waited THISLONG to see it?» so Im not even going to bother with this store. I bought so much more electronics since then, will be buying some more due to the line of business I am in plus Im going to have to furnish a new house soon, and I refuse to buy anything else from this place… my girl went back here despite of the bad experience and bought a Wii, and the employee pushed her to buy so much more crap that she didnt need. These kids can be quite pushy! Like I said, even after I said no, they still slipped that shit under my nose. This can actually be considered as fraud, but like I said, Im not going to bother. I admit I will still walk around this place to check out electronics since I HAVENOCHOICE and sometimes, I would really like to check out and hold a product in my hand and play around with it, however, when it comes to the actual purchase, Im buying it all online or a different source.
