Now my review is for the breads I ate from here, I have not gone to the actual café yet. However, I had the pleasure of filling my stomach with fluffy morsels of carb yesterday my mom brought back. If you like Asian baked goods but don’t want to track all the way to flushing, here’s your spot. The breads are all fluffy and light. Best of all, none are too sweet. Actually, maybe the best part is that they are so affordable, a dollar something per bread(compared to ~three dollars I’m used to). My favorite so far I think is this cone shaped pound cake/castella cake like bread that just simply tastes like a cloud! Try it if you’re in the area!

My favorite Chinese Chinese bakery store period! The red bean Bao is soooo fresh, fluffy and light! It s full of red beans inside. You can clearly see the beans not paste!!! So inviting n beautiful. Absolutely LOVE it! My little boy and I go there 2 – 3 times a week. My son behaves absolutely at his best once I tell him we are going to get Red Bean Baos. Also the egg turkey rolls. Wow, it s out of the world! Soooo good! The girl behind cashier is rather sweet n genuine.

Same excellent owners of a couple other businesses in the area. Similar variety to other Chinese bakeries(like Fay Da), but they had some items I hadn’t seen before. So much exotic looking stuff… when I asked the lady at the counter some questions she was more than willing to help out. Ended up getting a walnut raisin bun and a container of green tea cookies for my office. VERYSATISFIEDWITHBOTH. everyone at work loved the cookies, and the bun was as fresh as expected(from the pay counter you can see the focused bakers making everything from scratch!). would loved to have to seen fried dough and other chinese breakfast items on the menu but overall its a great place to check in before work!

Wow a Chinese Bakery in Little Neck? Similar style to those café/bakery chains in Downtown Chinatown only better. The only downside is paying the prices of Little Neck compared to Downtown. But still worth every penny. The baked goods are fresh, lots of choices, offers hot and cooked fare from inside the kitchen(made to order). I particularly like the egg tarts and mini buttery cakes they sell in a bagged cello package. The outstanding favorites besides those are there mini pastries. Classic favorites are the green tea flavors, egg yolk one, sesame and taro. Yum. They are great for gifting too because they have nice packaging no matter what quantity just mention you need gifting packaging. They have a snack menu and breakfast menu on the back wall. Lots of bubble tea drink flavors, they make a variety of hot teas, coffee, and they sell Snapple as well. Give this place a try. Limited seating but it’s nice and clean. Bathroom is also clean. Yes!

Not coffee, I don’t know what this is supposed to be but I can’t call it coffee. Honestly how hard can it be to make a decent cup of coffee. Beans and hot water. Move on nothing to see here.

I had to check out the vegetarian wraps they had here. The soy chicken was crispy and delicious! I’m usually not a fan of «soy meats.» They made it just right. The milk tea and bakery goods are also yummy. Definitely worth a visit.

I’ve been coming here for about 5 years it’s family own. They’re so sweet and pleasant here and they always have the best pastries. What’s even better is that they let you sample the pastries before you buy, who many other bakeries let you do that. What draws me here and keeps me coming back besides the friendly atmosphere is there homemade bread and sponge cake, it reminds me of my moms baking.

I had taro bubble tea and it was perfect! Big yummy bubbles. I ordered other bakery items and they were good too. They were pretty tasty and fresh. The cakes in the showcase didn’t look fresh though… unless those are just for display??? Counter staff was friendly and very helpful

It is a jewel in this part of queens! I love that they have different lunch specials and I love the Portuguese chicken that I’m having right now! Price is like those in flushing which is awesome and I love that it is easy to find parking here so I don’t have to fight everyone in flushing for parking. They have so many little treats like taro cakes, checkered cakes, pineapple cakes!!! Ahhhhhh!!! Awesome!!! Their cakes are also so artisan looking and delicious! Their breads were do fluffy. It is awesome!!! Love this place! Staff is also super nice and friendly and can speak mandarin, Cantonese, English! Everyone should visit!!!

Once purchased a moldy piece of cake there. Not a good way to retain customers. Items in your store, especially for consumption need to be managed better. When you wrap bread in plastic and it’s visible, it’s no excuse for a store owner/worker.

I went to give this place a chance. It blew it. I ordered 2 lunch specials and a pastry. I wanted the get the Portuguese Style Chicken over Rice. The lady had to ask everyone inside whether they had it or not… Obviously not… I had to order the Curry Chicken. Also ordered the Pork Chop over Spaghetti with Black Pepper Sauce and a Curry Puff. 1. Pork Chop over Spaghetti with Black Pepper Sauce — $ 7. 1.5÷5 It was not bad. It was not very good. Eh… This was the best out of the 2 things. It was TOO sweet! I was expecting something salty… I felt. I was eating dessert… 2. Curry Chicken Over Rice. $ 7 — 0⁄5. This was horrid. Not enough sauce and what sauce was there had no flavor. It would have been cheaper to buy a packet of premixed and some chicken and rice and it would taste 100x better… 3. Curry Puff– $ 1.753⁄5 The shell was too soft. but the Inside was okay. I had better though. It will pass… Overall i’ll give it 1÷5… I so depressed spending so much on food that was horrible…

Can’t say this place is as good as all those other bakeries in the heart of flushing. However, the service is great and I actually really like their macarons(especially the lavender). The bubble tea is just okay. They have a very wide selection of bubble tea and baked goods. The taro bun is yummy. I’ve had better oreo cheesecake than the one from red lotus. I would not get cake from here again.

Love the ppl here! It’s a Chinese bakery that serves the Chinese community in great neck. Prices on par with the places in flushing. A good selection of the basic Chinese bakery staples.

I’m really shocked at all the complaints about bad service. My experience has been the exact opposite. If anything, I find they are sometimes overly friendly :-) and I’ve been coming here for over a ! I love this ! They are easy better than the usual fayda or taipan. The pastries are fresh, delicious, and comes with generous fillings! The bakery is clean and offers just as many varieties as you’d find in flushing. The only minor gripe I have is they sometimes sell out my favorites.

This is based off of one Danish but it was pretty good. Not much cheese in the Danish though but lots of butter Place was well maintained and their selection was good and the lady was friendly. I didn’t like how she was trying to sell me more stuff. she kept pushing me to buy more bread but she got the hint.

Great if you want a headache. I saw they had vegetarian sandwiches, so I asked if they were vegan. The person at the counter said that nothing there is vegan but that sometimes, by request, they make vegan things. This goes directly against what many people have told me. After much discussion and her telling me that the vegetarian chicken was soy and soy is dairy and me explaining that soy isn’t dairy, I decided to take a risk and get the chicken sandwich in a wrap(she said the bread wasn’t vegan, also said the wrap wasn’t vegan but then finally went back to check and confirmed the wrap was vegan). The sandwich was not good. It just wasn’t. The chicken was mostly breading and there wasn’t much of it. Just a huge disappointment all around. I understand there may be a language barrier, but jesus please owners of this place just mark if things are vegan or vegetarian so that your counter help won’t get confused. Not coming back.

It is funny how sometimes a random stop can lead to a great find. As you walk in the, you are faced with the aroma of a good bakery. The place is very clean and the staff is not only helpful, but quite friendly. Having been there a few times now considering that it is not in my way, I am really glad to have found this place. Their cupcakes are extremely light and fluffy, so consuming one feels more like a bite, so be prepared to eat more than just 1. The butter bread shaped like an Angel cake is soft, moist, and definitely addicting. Also, a new find for me was their Milk Bread, which was sweet and soft, yet the crust was crispy. So far, the people that i introduced the milky break to, has been a huge hit… Overall, their cakes and pastries all have an appealing look and taste. Their frozen yogurt is simple and actually comes in a sour flavor, which i found unique… Definitely, check the place out!!!
