Sakura Japanese Cafe

Came in for dinner on a Friday night around 6:30pm. There was one other table but business picked up fairly quick after 7pm. Décor has a modest attempt in bringing in some modern flair and follows with the Asian theme with a sushi bar in the back. We were seated quickly upon entry and the order was taken quickly as well. Time for food to table was average, and we did not have to wait super long. We had requested for the sushi and dinner entrée to be brought to the table at the same time, but the sushi was brought first and the dinner entrée wasn’t brought till 15−20min after we had waited and slowly finished eating our sushi. The sushi was disappointing and the smallest roll I’ve ever seen. The dinner entrée was also very small compared to other restaurants, but taste was adequate. The waitress did not stop by the table once to ask how the food was and only refilled our drinks when we were done with the dinner.

I am picky when it comes to sushi. I’d eat here again. I especially enjoyed the rainbow and spicy salmon rolls.

Chicken Teriyaki dinner box was insane and for the first time in my life, I left a Japanese restaurant full!

I had to create an account to WARN AGAINST coming here. Me and my family came in and all of us got sick from eating here. Vomiting, diarrhea, and abd pain for 3 days! The sushi is def NOT FRESH. The prices are also high.
Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. Kinza Sushi is way better and the food is fresh.

Fast friendly service. Portion size was good, just enough food to eat versus the norm., of having a huge plate of food ensuring an overly full belly or leftovers!
