EXCELLENT Place to eat!!! The grandaughter is the new owner and its so good now! The food is just like her grandparents used to make. The scenery is awesome! We love the catfish! It’s the best around. The wait staff is really nice and you will want to come back for more. A must try place to eat…

This is the best catfish restaurant, hands-​down, in the Texarkana area.
After 20+ years of frequenting the establishment, I was very disappointed in my recent visit. I went on a special low-​price night for all-​you-​can-​eat catfish. The place was crowded, they were short-​staffed, and they couldn’t keep up. Some people didn’t get refills on fish. Give the restaurant a chance, and if you go on a special price night, you have been warned. If you drink alcohol, they only serve beer.

Hands down, the best all-​you-​can-​eat fish restaurants in the area. The food is fresh, perfectly prepared and the service is good. The gumbo is excellent. This restaurant has good fried and boiled shrimp as part of their mix. Not the usual «all breading» and mushy shrimp you find at other places. You should enjoy the view of the Sulphur River through the large windows.

When I’m in the area I always stop in for a terrific meal. Pier 27 serves the SINGLE BEST catfish dinner I’ve ever had. I’m never disappointed. Always happy here! Well worth the drive from Texarkana and surrounding areas.
