This place is the pits.
Door had a ½ inch gap which not only let the ac out but every bug on the Gulfcoast in.
Gaggles of people loitering in the parking lot at dusk and beyond
TV reception was crap and it was cable. TV was small
Towels where cheap dollar store brand.
NEVER AGAIN… NEVER

Sleeping on the floor would’ve been better than the pullout couch bed. Saw a large bug on the couch. No breakfast. No enough towels. Outdated and not very clean. The «hot tub» was pool temperature and the pool was cold.

I stayed again this past weekend and I walked over to Park Ten Lanes they had a band at the lounge, and I had a great time. I walked over to the Red Zone had a great time. I rented a king room inside the Atrium, facing pools, it was great. The room was clean, the staff were nice. I noticed they have a new paved road going to the hotel, no more pot holes. I always stay at Diamondhead Inn & Suites if I’m in the area, I recommend it to everyone. I rate it 5 stars because it is really nice for the price, and you can walk to almost everything you need.

omg omg omg lord i made a reservation at this location without checking the reviews. boy dos i make a huge mistake!!! the place is a nightmare, the eooms smelled and the pool was dirty with green water. rhis place ia a non refundable joint so please check the reviews before you book the room. when we arrived, thera was no one there it was lime a ghost town around there. needless to say ilwd walked out without spending the night!

Not even 1 star for this place… been here an hour and a half it’s 5:30 and they just got me a room. .this place is the pitts… GM was rude, place was a mess. Pool was merky, and 2 small 5owels in room… JUST DON’T STAY HERE!!! I regret it already. Diamond my ass!

Unless you are desperate don’t stay here. Every review I read on this place was 100% accurate. One thing I noticed was the light coming from the bathroom vent. Upon future inspection I noticed it was the maintenance space between the rooms. I could see into the maintenance space. So I guess the maintenance guy can stand in his maintenance space and watch what is going on in the bathrooms. (BATES MOTEL). The amount of DNA deposited in this room is ridiculous. At least change the sheets between guest. Blood stain on mattress. Bullet holes in wall. Please read all reviews for this «crack» hotel. The reviews are written by people who really care about your health. If you are traveling with kids do not even consider this place — please for the sake of your children. This place has Staff infection or Mersa written all over it. 0 — Stars

Editted to 2 stars because of them cleaning the swimming pool and the shakoozi which got very hot and nice. Thumbs up on that.
Giving this place a 1 star because it could be better. This place has a little bug on the wall needs to be fixin up. There are no fan in the restroom, the paints are chipping off. Wifi sucks ass cant even connect even if couple people told them aready they wouldnt fix. Im here for work and its my first hotel stop which sucks. I rather go to a cheap hotel with good internet now and days, 1 thing is nice is that it has shops around here and bowling ally down the side of he building. The pool is kinda dirty and shakoozie is green dirty. It would be good if you staying for a night thats about it.

We booked a room here last Saturday for Valentine’s because it was also Mardi Gras in New Orleans so no other hotels ANYWHERE between Metairie to Mobile AL. Our only reason for even booking a room was for the private jacuzzi. I went through
and booked the suite with a description of spa bath AND bath/​shower! I’m including a screen shot of the room description. If I see that it states SPA BATH AND BATH/​SHOWER then I expect to see 2 bathing areas inside the room. Didn’t happen. We arrived, got the key and went to inspect the room. Tiny bathtub. That’s it. So I went downstairs to talk to the front desk. Told him the problem and he said he’d have to call his GM. I said ok I’ll wait right here. Approximately 2 minutes later he returns saying that his GM said that they aren’t responsible for the photos nor descriptions on any website other than their own. So I’d have to call
. So I did. And SHE said they don’t upload photos nor descriptions for the over 500,000 hotels they book for and that the actual hotels take care of that and are responsible for their own description and/​or photos. So now we’re caught between
and this place trying get to get out money refunded for a room we didn’t even use. When I hung up with
we turned over the keys and left. Why stay in a room that didn’t have the ONLY thing we were renting it for? I’d rather sleep in my own clean comfortable bed 20 minutes away! And also included in that room description is 2 flat screen tvs… there was ONE TV from 1992 in the living area and the picture quality was about like using a busted rabbit ears antenna that’s been taped back together. Not sure where we go from here but I’m posting reviews on every site plus contacting the BBB along with every other agencies that should be aware of this hotel falsely misrepresenting its rooms and advertising amenities it doesn’t have and refusing to refund the reservation amount when you see you’ve been duped and choose not to stay!

I know Katrina hit this area extremely hard and many buildings were destroyed or badly damaged and remained empty for months. This Inn is very badly damaged, unsafe, a fire hazard, virtually no maintenance dept, and worthless housekeeping. Torn pieces of paper will tell you your room number. Katrina was 10yrs ago so it was hard for me to be sympathetic to the male staff present. I chewed his ass out but at the same time felt like strapping on a tool belt and give these clowns direction. The building inspector and fire chief should be jailed for complete oversight within this affluent neighborhood. Do not stay here!

DIAMONDHEAD INN & SUITES should be out of business!!! REPEAT, DIAMONDHEAD INN & SUITES should be out of business!!! My wife and I live in Diamondhead area and having family coming to visit for the weekend. So we decide to check out the hotel before they came. I ask to check out a room and when they open the door to let us check it out, I was disgusted! It was supposedly a non smoking room, when it actually smelled like someone just smoked a pack in the room. Nasty floors with stains, stains on bed, and lamp shades. Everything was out dated (1970s). I’m really surprise this hotel is in business in a area like Diamondhead. Very disappointed, don’t say I didn’t warn you!!!

I suppose it is possible that there are rooms better that the one we had here. (i posted a couple of photos) There were no lampshades, half the bulbs were burnt out (they eventually partially fixed this problem). No trash can until after asking for one 4 times. You can see in the photos how disgusting the bathroom is. They never fixed the telephone (asked them to 5 times). No iron, microwave, fridge. IF YOU HAVE ATHSMA or allergies stay away!!! Our room had actively growing mold because the heating/​cooling unit leaked into the carpet. They never cleaned our room. I asked them repeatedly to send someone to clean whatever was dried on the bathroom door but they didn’t. We booked this hotel for two nights and only stayed because I hate to waste the money. I will never go back and can’t recommend it to anyone. I wouldn’t stay there again even if it was free. I have stayed in some dumps before but never as bad as this.

We had an interior room and we could hear the rowdy drunk people at the pool all night. The room did not have
A phone so we could not call the front desk. The hotel allows smoking indoors and it smells like cigarettes everywhere. The room itself was non-​smoking and fortunately smelled ok.
The clientele was nice enough but we saw several people smoking and drinking indoors at 8 am Sunday morning. Under 40 women who were referred to by their family members as grandma were also aplenty. If you are a redneck you may consider this hotel a 5 star resort!

This hotel is only good if you need a place which accepts pets. We only stayed here because we were closing on a house in the area. Would not recommend to anyone but single men. Good Hotel for labor’s and Railroad maintainers. I did go to a conference here a while back but I remember the Restrooms were very dirty and broken.
