Beware — This place is extremely expensive. $ 40 for a tire rotation that typically costs $ 20-​$ 25 at other shops. And I was quoted nearly $ 400 just to change the brake pads on a standard car (no rotors). I called another local shop and they performed the work for $ 180. You can buy quality pads for about $ 40 per set ($ 80 for the whole car). With an Advanced Auto Parts store across the street, they are probably buying parts even cheaper than this. The shop rate is over $ 100 per hour which is higher than most dealerships. My advice is to shop around before taking a car to them.

Absolutely, positively… THE BEST service, hands down!
I had two other repair shops look at my car before I found J&R Service Center (completely by luck)…neither of them figured out what was going on with my car. Not the shop I have been taking my cars to for the past 15 years, and not an official Volkswagen dealership in Joliet, either.
The VW shop, by the way, gave me an estimate for a $ 2,400 repair bill. FOR A REPAIR THAT WAS NOT needed. Unbelievable.
Of course, I refused that repair, and wound up finding J&R, and getting the correct repair at a proper price. That’s right — they were the *only* car repair shop out of the three that knew what they were doing (figured out what was wrong with my car) and didn’t try to overcharge me. Wonderful!
Choose them if you care about getting a repair done right, without getting robbed. :D

A friend recommended J & R to me and I’m happy he did! I had an issue with the rear hatch actuator and could not open the rear door on my Durango. Jeff (the owner) and his crew did a great job and charged a reasonable fee (based on other quotes) for replacing and repairing the hatch. While there, I also had the oil changed and tires rotated.
They are a busy shop with two locations, but Jeff took time to communicate throughout the repair and make future recommendations. The work was completed on time and my Durango was left clean. Overall a very positive experience.
