Warren and Cadieux Mechanic and Tire

I took my car back and got caliper repaired a tire replaced, a high mileage oil change, and Sam charged me a very reasonable price. However I need a front wheel bearing replace and I got a quote from Sam for a bit higher than expected. I research how much the part is online for my vehicle and it ranged from 40 to $ 80 well any reasonable mechanic wouldn’t charge more than $ 120 for the labor which shouldn’t take more than an hour to replace the front driver wheel bearing. I am going to try and take it back to Sam, but AM calling other mechanics around the area to see if I can get a good quote because it’s getting so expensive to get my car up to par. So far I am satisfied with this mechanics work and he is extremely friendly and helpful. I still recommend him to anyone that needs work.

Second (and last) time I brought my vehicle here they tried to charge me $ 800 to fix a few electrical things, none of which even required PARTS. I refused to pay that but they basically had my car held hostage because I couldn’t drive it out of there and by the time I paid for another tow and the $ 70 they wanted just to look at it I’d have spent $ 150 and still stuck with a car that wasn’t running. He finally agreed to «just get it running» for $ 350 (like duh… THAT IS WHAT I BROUGHT IT IN FOR!) and when I got there he made me leave and go to the ATM and pay cash because he gave me «such a good deal.» Nothing shady about that! And I know they did not spend more than a total of 60 – 90 minutes on it based on the time that elapsed between when I said «yeah go ahead and fix it» and when they told me it was ready. Do not go here! It was a total screw job and insult to my intellgence.
