Motown Portrait Photography

I am a Fan X2. My son graduated 2012, and my daughter this year. I have to say both experiences were organized, planned, and professional. More importantly, the pics came out great and at a really comparable price. I would recommend Motown for its quality and ability to get the job done.

During my high school era there was another studio that heavily competed with Motown and often won over the patrons. Well as time would have it the tables have turned and Motown has become the number one place in Detroit for high school senior pictures. I was here with my foster daughter for her senior pictures. We took a couple of family portraits. They turned out really nice. I was surprised at the age of the photographers. I believe this is a family owned business that employs a lot of relatives. That’s not a slight because the young staff was well organized and friendly. The background selections and designs are pretty cool too!

Motown is known throughout Detroit for taking high-​school senior pictures. My sister and I had our senior pictures and buddy pictures taken here when we were at our respective high schools. It’s so funny because they guy that took my pictures, ended up being my prom date. This studio is always busy during the school year because of the thousands of seniors in Detroit every year. They also do weddings, retirement parties and family portraits but I would suggest using them during the summer for those events. The staff is semi-​professional. Occasionally you are dealing with a high-​schooler who is working part-​time and doesn’t necessary have proper customer service skills. But I must say that all my pictures came out wonderful.
