We had my dad funeral at Coles on west grand Blvd. They did a great job from start to finish. The funeral director was very very good. Jackie the lady that drove the family car was great. Over all my dad looked very nice.

The funeral service for the sudden death of my brother in law was beautiful. The organist stepped in and sang a couple of beautiful songs when our family did not have a musician present. However, my husband and sister in law just got news that the funeral home «lost the cremation order» and a new one needs to be signed and this is 1 week after the funeral service. My husband and I live in Seattle, WA, my husband’s sister and my brother in law’s oldest son live in Memphis, TN which presents a complication. After much frustration and anguish my husband and his sister had to endure and several calls from different people hours apart, someone calls back to inform my husband that in fact the order for cremation was not lost but with the body at the crematorium and the cremation had already taken place. Had someone taken the time to look and do their research before relaying incorrect information the additional frustration on top of the ongoing grieving would have been prevented. This sensitive time of having a loved one die unexpectedly is not the time for misinformation, delay in communication and lack of knowledge in the policy and procedure of cremation.
