Great burger. I love the location of the store. Great staff. Very friendly. I will recommend it any time. It’s also open 24 hours a day and I love the honey butter chicken biscuit:)

Stopped here and ate while on vacation last week. We’re from Tennessee and there are no whataburger restaurants in our area. We all got cheeseburger combos. The restaurant seemed to be short staffed and it took a while to get our food. No napkins and many of the tables were dirty. My burger and bun was cold. Taste was ok. Very similar to a Sonic burger in both look and taste. I actually like sonic better. My daughter liked her burger and my wife had the same thought as me. Just ok but nothing special. I guess our expectations were too high.

Whataburger is a fast food chain so I usually wouldn’t review it, however we don’t have any of these in Kentucky so I’m breaking my own rule! I had heard great things about Whataburger so I stopped there for lunch by myself while my fiancé had a boys day. I ordered the Chophouse Burger and fries. I wish I had known that I could order a Jr. size because this thing was huge! The toppings were OK but the patties were overcooked and they were very stingy with the honey mustard for my fries(which were nice and thin so I liked them!). All in all, it’s just«meh.»

This place is right by my house, so I would occasionally stop here. Be prepared to wait 20 minutes for a burger, and I don’t mean on occasion, every time. To top it off they charge extra for sauce?! They don’t tell you this either, so when you pay with a card and then remember you need a ranch, you are SOL because they won’t let you but a $ 0.25 ranch with a card… Staff is rude and unfriendly to top it off. Make the extra 5 min drive to another place. It’ll save you time and frustration.

This place was great! The added bonus of having our food brought out to us along with a tray of sauces for us to choose from was great. The food was delicious, both the chicken and the burger we got. The service was great as well. Having never been to a Whataburger before I had no idea what to expect in terms of service or food so have nothing to gauge it against. But everyone was very friendly and the food came out hot, fresh, quickly, and correctly. The bathrooms were clean, too.

I am a big fan of Whataburger… and after being on vacation, and getting stuck in tourist traps, this was a welcome sight to see. Made me feel like I was back in Texas!

Food was acceptable and as expected. We live in Texas and always love Whataburger. Great place to grab a quick burger. HOWEVERBF said the men’s room was atrocious and the dried fecal matter had been there for quite a while. Ruined his appetite — Ewwwww. Meanwhile manager was eating and doing her paperwork in dining room.

Not a bad place to stop on your way back from the beach. I’d say this place is definitely a few steps above cookout and well above the other fast food chains. The service is super fast and it was one of the few times my kids said they really liked their burgers. The fries are average and the drinks you get are huge. Which is a major plus being in FL. I only gave this place 3 stars because the food wasn’t anything to write home about but definitely worth stopping for if you want something quick, cheap and easy. You can feed a family of four for under $ 25.

This was my first time at this place and I loved it. The staff manager took care of my brother and I and he did an awesome job. He asked if I liked hotter burgers so I ordered the Jalapeño and onions grilled together, you cannot get this at 99% of drive thru restaurants. The place was so good we ate here a couple of days in a row after fishing all day. They make some very good onion rings too, you must try them !

As a native Texan, I visit our Whataburgers regularly. I’ve been to some bad ones, and some not so great ones, as well as some awesome ones. I was pretty impressed here. My breakfast was fresh and the service was very helpful since I assume they are quite used to tourists who have never stepped foot in this place before. The soda machine had the most choices I have ever seen in any Whataburger. Definitely worth a stop if you want an easy meal! If you want something different than the usual burger, I can definitely recommend the patty melt!

I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich and I’m about to throw up. What a burger? This shit is so disgusting and is only fake processed food. I could go to mcdonalds for cheaper.

I have friends that«miss» Whataburger… so I stopped in to see what the fuss was about… the service was friendly, the dining room was clean, but the soft drink machine mix was«off» and the soda tasted odd. The Onion rings were ok, the fries were ick and the cheese burger had cold unmelted cheese on mine and it tasted bland. Next time I want a great regional burger I will stick with the West coast– In N Out or the Habit… this place was a huge let down…

More like Whatamess. As a child of the 70s and 80s, I grew up vacationing in Florida. One of the highlights of any trip down to the coast was a visit(or 7 visits) to Whataburger. It was the In N Out Burger of its time. Now, sadly, it’s just another fast food restaurant. We chose this one for lunch one day while out shopping at Silver Sands. The only unique element about the entire experience was that you order at a counter just like at any fast food burger joint. But they give you a number and bring the food to your table. This was fine but then you’re left wondering«do I tip for that?» when you’re ready to leave. I’m fine hanging out at the counter and bringing my own food to the table. Otherwise, it was the same freezer-to-grill-to-table burger, the same fries which weren’t crispy enough and tasted of old oil, and even the shake seemed sad. It was gritty and screamed, «just minutes ago, I was a weird powder, but look! Now I’m a shake!»

WHAT A BURGER, No really, What a BURGER! OK. I am done now. So, having spent 15 years in Texas I can’t help but to love Whuutaburrgerr(spelled phonetically). Whenever I am in Floribama that is the first place I head passing the cheesey tourist fish joints haughtily. This experience was the same as my other 457: perfect hamburger, really perky and fast service from someone you wouldn’t expect to work at a fast food chain, slightly cold fries and a yummy chocolate milk shake. The only think missing was the people. In Texas, WAB rocks at all times of the day. Do yourself a favor and skip Cheese burgers in paradise try WAB for 1⁄3rd the money and better ambience! ~SHD

We went through the drive thru. Took a little while to get our order. Was excellent food, however. I enjoyed the Patty Melt while my husband enjoyed a double jalepeno burger. Would definitely go again.

I’ve gone to Destin two times this year, both visiting this Whataburger restaurant. One time was great, the other? Well, not so great. The first time I went this year was around April during spring break. My friend and I were hungry around midnight and we wanted to stop for a bite to eat seeing that they had never gone to Whataburger before. We decided to dine in(which was weird for me because I always order take out). When our food was ready, we were not expected to go to the counter and pick up our food. Instead, an employee came to us with a tray of our food and another tray of assorted condiments. How cool is that??? We left satisfied and impressed. The second time I went this year was toward the end of May for Memorial Day weekend. Except this time, our visit was not a visit worth taking. My friend and I got there pretty early during a dinner rush and we made it in time followed by a crowd. We decided to dine in(because our awesome first experience of course) but it was a mistake. We had ordered before everyone in the restaurant and had not received our food until after FOURTYFIVE minutes. We watched as people got their food, enjoyed it, and left. We asked about our food several times and got the same response«it will be out shortly». After about our fourth time asking different employees, we had found out that our ticket had been lost meaning OURFOODWASNEVERBEINGPREPARED. We left after we had gotten our food and we were not happy. I guess you can say having a good experience here is a 50⁄50 chance, although it should be 100%. If it weren’t for that amazing first visit, this Whataburger would have received 1, MAYBE2 stars from me.

Sure, it’s a fast food chain, but it’s a good one. I love their whole 70’s/80’s style color scheme; it takes me back to my childhood. All that aside, it’s open 24 hours, has a huge menu and the service is always great. Oh yeah, and their burgers are AWESOME.
