What an awesome experience! The team at scubatech run a wonderful discovery dive that myself, wife and 3 teenagers thoroughly enjoyed! If you are up for an adventure, you should give Scubatech a chance to get you hooked on Scuba diving!

Just went on a chartered dive trip Scuba Tech this morning, and wanted to post a review of how great a crew and set up that they had. I rented all of my gear, and it was excellent equipment kept in really good shape (even the wetsuit was clean, and fitted well). Dive masters on the trip, Greg and Tim, were personable and friendly and made sure to take care of everyone, not just the people that they were assigned to. I really appreciated their helpful hints and insider tips. The dive boat was fast and clean, and we didn’t waste any unnecessary time with getting to the sites. Some of the people on the charter started getting a little seasick (the swells were a little rough) and I was really impressed with how out of their way the crew went towards trying to make them feel better. This was my first time diving in the Gulf and it was a great intro experience; I will definitely use this company when I’m back in town next

Very professional, took us out with only 5 divers. Captain Nancy and Rabbi were thoughtful and attentive. We really enjoyed the pineapple during our surface interval. Our dive master Tim was very good and knew exactly where to go to get the most out of this early season, low visibility dive. Boat was clean and fast. Highly recommended.

Nancy and crew were fantastic. 2 nitrox dives, great 75′ vis, 81 °F temp at depth and more fish than you can imagine. Highly recommend, I know that I will repeat when I’m in the Destin area. Thank you Scuba Tech!

My wife and I dove with Scuba Tech and had a great time! The staff and crew were excellent and the equipment we rented was in great shape too. They really wanted to make sure we enjoyed our trip. Dive with these guys it was a great experience!

Went in to buy new fins and a mask. The staff was very helpful (Greg) and I was able to try a bunch of different options and get great price versus benefit recommendations. I highly recommend this place, and can’t wait to come back and try one of their tours!

Scubatech is a very professional dive shop and they have their own dive boat. This combo makes for a much more efficient Dive experience. I have been on several trips with them and love the friendly staff and the safety first attitude. If you need dive gear they have a well equipped shop and they know what is best for each diver. They also offer snorkeling trips and a discover scuba course.

They were awesome on all my dive trips this week! First at the shop, very helpful and knowledgeable regarding gear I wanted to purchase and helped me get a perfect fit! The dives were incredible. the crew made you feel at home and give great service!

I came in to get some snorkeling gear. The staff was very knowledgeable. The clerk helped me with trying on every style mask in stock to make sure it fit properly and was comfy. I enjoyed the experience and learned a lot while at the shop.
I will be back and I will recommend to friends!

Went on a 2 dives with these guys in one week. Price is around $ 100 if you don’t need to rent anything. Rental rates are reasonable. Very impressed with these guys. Both trips our deckhand Greg did a great job making sure we had everything we needed. Was really impressed on the second dive day when the boat got a message that another dive boat had a lost diver. The crew went to work immediately getting the dive masters on board ready to get in the water to assist with the search. As soon as we got to the site that the diver was missing at the Dive Masters were some of the first in the water. When the Coast Guard showed up Greg and the rest of the crew were on the spot with assisting them in getting some of the gear on board the Coast Guard divers needed to get as many people in the water as quickly as possible. very impressed with the professionalism and dedication of these dive professionals. Came away with the feeling that they would go to any lengths to make sure their customers were safe. Had a great time even though vis was only about 5 feet on the last day — still enjoyed the dive and would highly recommend these guys. I will definitely be diving with them next year when we return to Destin.

The shop is conveniently located on the main drag in Destin (highway 98). However this real estate comes at a cost in the form of gear prices which are higher compared to the shops in the surrounding area. However the gear selection is good with many extras and accessories readily available. They have a excellent PACKAGE section which has over 10 scuba gear packages ready to buy. Overall the shop is organized and the staff is knowledgeable on the products and dives in the surrounding area. The boat service was a bit pricey at $ 100 per person w/​tanks for two dives (4 HRS). But the crew made the trip enjoyable. Paying the extra $ 25 per person for a dive master was unnecessary. As long as you or the divers your are diving with can follow an anchor line down to the bottom safely you can omit this extra service. They did nothing in the form of navigation, extra knowledge or training in our experience.
