Dissatisfied with overall quality and installation of carpet from Edwards Carpet 13 384 Manchester Road Des Peres (314) 909‑7474.
We purchased a full house of carpet in August 2006 to replace the 16 year builder’s grade carpet installed when the home was built. I do not remember the sales rep’s name, however, he convinced us to go with the carpet we currently have and said it is the best for stain-​resistance. We bought into it. Five years later the carpet has a horrible stain that we cannot removed. We are very dissatisfied with the carpet’s overall quality. In addition, we are now having problems with the carpet buckling in several places. It has been primarily my husband at home with an occasional adult child coming and going from college. Why it would be buckling after 5 years with only 2 people at home, is beyond me. I guess it was overall poor installation. I would love to replace the carpet already, but cannot justify a full house of carpeting again after only 5 years. I would have expected this carpet to last longer than the builder’s grade carpet but have sorely misjudged. Needless to say, I don’t intend to purchased any carpet or any other flooring from Edwards Carpet.
