Dahl’s Food Marts

Stores are dirty. Products overpriced. Employees/​managers rude/​snobby. No response to email/​phone complaints. Go to HyVee instead.

Dahl’s Foods is a pretty basic grocery store concept. Nothing to out of the ordinary.
One thing I have noticed is the fact that Dahl’s is very poor at stocking what people need. If my diet consisted of only frozen pizza, ice cream, pop, and chips this would be my place. Unfortunately for Dahl’s, my body requires real food to stay healthy.
Dahls’ excels at their meat selection, but nothing else really comes to mind. Dahl’s has plenty of space to be successful, but they spread their isles out and stack multiple brands of the same thing. This results in a very poor selection for the customer.
Service at this store is certainly not great, partially due to understaffing. No one is mean, but every one is certainly aloof and not really interested in helping out. Management needs to do a better job motivating their employees.
Unfortunately I find myself going to many different grocery stores to find the food I need. Why do we need toys, a pharmacy, and a sub-​par restaurant when we should have a more substantial produce department. (For the record, I go to Walgreen’s when I need a pharmacy, why on earth would I go to Dahl’s.
