Tonight was my first visit here and I will definitely be returning. The salon was clean and smelled really good. The nail technicians were super polite and not yelling across the salon at each other like in similar places around town. I called earlier in the day and made an appointment for a gel manicure in the evening. The whole appointment, from arrival to payment, took a total of just under 30 minutes and my manicure is simply amazing.
Nina did a great job on helping me pick a color and do an accent nail as well!
I really enjoyed my experience and as a first time customer I received a $ 5 off coupon for my next visit! They encourage patrons to pay with cash because there is a $ 1 service charge on cards. If you pay with cash, on your tenth transaction, you’ll get a $ 10 coupon!

I went there so get a mani pedi with my maid of honor the day before my wedding. At the time I had an ankle sprain and a hairline fracture. Everyone was gentle with my ankle and inviting. My artist was amazing. They offered us beverages and I even asked if we could watch the proposal on their flat screen and they put it on for us. Had a great time and will be returning. Highly recommend this nail salon!

I’ve been getting my nails done here for years. I’ve been to pretty much every salon in derry and Exotic 9 is simply the best. I recieve a quality service every single time and my nails look fabulous for weeks. I only go every couple of months but they always remember me. I love watching a movie and getting my nails done. The massage chairs for the pedicure area are so comfortable. They are more expensive than other local salons but you definitly get what you pay for so for me its worth it, $ 30 for a pedicure and $ 30 for shellac. It usually busy so call book ahead to avoid a wait!

I’ve been here twice now and brought my husband along the last time. We’re both fans of the place. It is clean and the movie is a nice touch. Whether you decide to watch or not is really up to you but if you’re not a fan, plug in your earbuds or ignore it. Its not «spa like» as the other reviewer mentioned BUT being self-​employed and a mom of twin toddlers, I like not having the pressure to talk and letting my mind drift off while watching a movie.
That aside, the job on the nails itself is EXCELLENT!
This place is clean and you receive your own box of tools so you know that no one else is using them but you (you are assigned a box if you are a repeat customer). They use hot stones for the massages for both pedicures and manicures (it is awesome!) and the hot wax for the manicures are a nice touch.
Plenty of parking available but do call for an appointment! They accept walk-​ins but are pretty busy in there!

I only decided to go to this place 2 weeks ago after finding that they had an open appointment on a Sunday and the place was close enough to my home. When I got there, I was greeted by who I thought was a receptionist who offered to help. which I figured is what I get for not having made an appointment. From the look of my nails afterwards I’m sure I was wrong about her job description. The tech shaped my nails so that they would compliment my awkwardly long fingers and look very natural. It took an hour for my manicure (no acrylics, because eww), which is fine since it also included the wax treatment and stone massage. I had never noticed this place because quite frankly it’s in Derry, where I don’t expect much. However I was pleasantly surprised at the appearance inside the salon and the quality of the work.

I was really hoping that the action packed movie was a mood that they were in the first time I went but this time was not relaxing either. I work a lot and when I am not working, I am a mom. When I go to get my nails done, I’d like a little peace and I don’t find it here.
I’m not sure I will go back.
