Never been disappointed with my food, beverage or service. Check it out. Great place to eat or for happy hour.

I wanted so badly to love this place but the 3 times I went my husband and I had bad experiences. First off all 3 times we went the wrong items were brought to us for our order. And when we told the waitstaff we got. «I can’t bring that back to the chef» that is what he made. The food is not that great and it’s expensive for the portions. this place is a little too pretentious for me and for Derry! Don’t waste your time!

First visit for my wife and I. Very relaxed atmosphere. We tried a couple beers we’ve never had before, very good. We could’ve had 8 plates of the bacon fig flatbread appetizer. The Bison burger was good and the pork tenderloin was amazing! All of the servers appeared to genuinely enjoy what they were doing. Get off the beaten path, try some amazing local beers and wines and enjoy some NH culture. Cheers!

They had a very wide selection of wine and beer and the server was very nice and knowledgeable. However it was very quiet and the atmosphere was stuffy and not friendly. My husband and I had one drink and left.

Omg, the FOOD!!! WOW. And I’m a foodie. To. Die. For. The atmosphere is very cool. Hip but comfortable. They keep the music really low so it’s a great vibe for a good conversation over a delicious meal. Prices are really good too.

First time here and all I can say is this place is great, awesome craft beer and wine selection and the food was unreal. We went with 4 of the smaller plates to split between the two of us and it was perfect. One recommendation, try the steak and cheese egg rolls, unreal! The service was above and beyond, knowledgable on all the wines and beers they are offering at the time(rotating list), detailed explanations of the specials(where the local ingredients are coming from) and I’ll say it again, the food is excellent. I highly doubt you will be disappointed, we will definitely be back, till then…

Stopped by this place on our way from Boston to NH skiing. I wasn’t sure what to expect given this was a small town but the food was surprisingly good. I would characterize it as dressier bar food. I had a portobello sandwich which was excellent. My dining companions also had the short ribs which were also delicious. The beer selection was also very good. My only small complaint is that they ran out of the beer that I really liked, which was weird given that it was Saturday night.

Wow, what a great experience! We started our night tasting some beers and saying hello to local chickens at the associated Drinkery down the street, and ended up here at the Cask and Vine. Snagged two spots at the bar and buckled in for great wine, a delicious salad, and I took the recommended smoked trout sandwich on a soft and fresh pretzel and couldn’t have been happier. Accompanying Spanish Syrah was exactly what I like in a wine, big and fruity. They have a few veg options, and the boy was satisfied with his risotto. Interesting and friendly people at this spot on the main drag in Derry, and the staff are just awesome sauce. Thanks for a fun night!

Food was good. Not a tapas bar. Service was slow. All menu items we tried had extra grease. Sitting next to the door was cold! They were also«changing their menu» on a Saturday night so as a result a lot of the items were not available. The staff was friendly.

This place is a hidden gem, if I could rate this higher than 5 stars, I would! The food here, is amazing… hands down best in town. The beer & wine selection is really good too! they always manage to have beers I have never heard of; but wish I would have discovered earlier. The food here rocks my socks off every time. In terms of price, its a little on the higher end, but well worth it for the portions, and quality of the food. The service here is really good too… everyone here is always cheerful, and happy to help. If you are in the area and want to elevate your foodie level past 9000, then by all means hit up Cask & Vine!

Visiting my hometown from Ca. What a cozy little place! So nice to see a beer and wine bar in Derry! I see them all over SoCal, so I was excited to see one in my little olé hometown USA. Food was phenomenal! Lobster risotto was the special tonight, and the lobster was a plenty. And I was thrilled that it was loaded with the lobster claws that are missing from the crustaceans back in Cali. Nice job! Definitely recommend! Beer was wicked good too ;)

What a rad little gem. My girlfriend and I were looking to expand our search for cozy wine bars and stumbled upon this place. Glad we did, as it’s worth the trip. The atmosphere is great, dimly lit, somewhat hipster, cozy with wine barrel tables. I do wish they would expand the«lounge area» and knock out those few high tops when you walk in for more couches. The service was very good and super nice. The wine list is succinct, but full of good value bottles and good selections. Another recommendation would be to allow any of the wines by the glass be a part of the flight, not just featured wines. That one doesn’t make sense to me. Alas, I was very pleased with the wine menu overall. We did wind up getting a corked bottle, which the owner immediately replaced. The food was very good as well. The small plates are excellent here, including the cheese plate, potato gratin, meatloaf slider, and pigs in a blanket. All well prepared and reasonably priced. The entrees and sandwiches followed suit as well. The short rib was especially good(the demi glaze was kiiiiller). All in all, we really enjoyed our time and can see this being a regular haunt for small plates, drinks, and relaxing.

Our daughter treated us to dinner at Cask and Vine. Very nice restaurant with a different menu. Atmosphere is pleasing to the eye. We had an enjoyable dinner and would not hesitate to go back. Decent draft beer list, too, which is always a plus.

This is one of those places I instantly wished I had visited earlier on, and their story on the cover of Beer Advocate seems well deserved. Located in downtown Derry beside the rail trail, Cask And Vine is a more upscale experience than your average craft brew bar. Soft lighting and a quiet atmosphere gives the place a warmth that is very relaxing. It’s a place you can have a conversation in! I value that in an restaurant. The beer and wine selection is stellar and is the foundation of Cask And Vine. In an age where restaurants and bars are trying to cram as many taps as possible into their establishment, Cask And Vine opts to instead have a highly curated selection of about a dozen beers on tap, several of which are local or regional. The beer menu is a classy one sheet with nice, terse descriptions of each brew that will want to make you taste them all. The wine selection looked very good, as well, but I did not get a chance to check it out. The food menu sports a nice variety of options from flatbreads and soups to smoked trout and braised pork cheeks. I had the pork cheeks and they were fantastic. The portions are on the smaller side, but that’s just an excuse to fill up on more delicious beer. And to top it all off, I met the owners a couple of days after my first visit and they are very nice and knowledgable people. I hope to become a regular at Cask and Vine.

If you are going to close the kitchen at 8:45, you should advertise that so people don’t waste time driving over to come get food. Seems like basic business practice. It’s unfortunate for them since this could have been a regular place for me since I eat out every night.

Although the plates are small they are packed with flavor! The staff was nice and it could be casual or dressy depending on your mood and group. The only thing I wish they served cocktails as well. I’m not huge into wine or beer but I found that«Not Your Father’s Rootbeer» hit the spot! Overall I enjoyed myself in this intimate space.

It’s a great business for what it is. A great date night spot as they don’t have TV’s and other distractions. A great place for beer snobs as they have a great selection. I don’t come that often though, because I like TV’s and don’t like beer. The service tops it off however, as the staff and owners are great and very friendly. If you have the choice between here and Drae across the street, always pick here as it’s far superior in terms of quality and professionalism. The owner of Drae, as seen in my review of them, is a self aggrandizing man with no idea what customer service is. Come here to support a better business, better owners and to have a much better time.

I’m going to go out on a limb and hand them five stars, even though I’ve just been here the once. I will go back again and again, as often as I can get to Derry, NH. A friend and I came in not knowing what to expect after using the Unilocal mobile app to find a place to eat lunch in the area. The room is cozy and a little dark, with plenty of tables and a long bar. On tap are nothing but Dogfish Head and Shipyard offerings, including many of the deeper cuts from their albums. I had the Rosabi, a delicious Imperial Pale Ale made with wasabi. Really good. The Turkey and Brie sandwich is among the best things I’ve ever eaten. We shared it and the Duck, Duck Goose — a duck breast, duck bacon and duck confit sandwich with Jarlsberg and foie gras mayo spread. Delicious and surprisingly light. The folks who work here are super friendly, and you will definitely want to be back for more.
