Stopped on a Saturday night a few weeks ago. The exterior is a little deceiving. We almost drove by because it looked like it was dead. Then we parked and saw the parking lot in back. Ambiance was very nice. Service was excellent. Food was very good and we are finicky. Not too noisy even though it was pretty busy. I have driven past this place dozens of times in my life without giving it any thought. I’m(we’re) extremely happy we stopped.

Having grown up in Buffalo, my family would often get food from Pasquale’s. This past weekend, I was up in the area visiting family and decided to take my boyfriend here before making the drive back to Pittsburgh. We arrived around 3:15 on Sunday afternoon. For the most part, the restaurant was pretty quiet which allowed us to dine fairly quickly and get on the road. The service is always friendly here and even though it had been a while since I last dined at Pasquale’s, I’m pretty certain the waitresses stick around. In fact, our waitress noted that she has been working here for 16 years! We each enjoyed a glass of New York State wine(9oz pour for $ 9). He ordered the chicken parmigiana and I ordered the pasta broccoli. The entrée pastas are served with your choice of soup or salad. I ordered the homemade pasta fagioli soup, he ordered a Cesar salad. My soup and his salad arrived fairly quickly. What’s nice about Pasquale’s is that they don’t skimp on portions. The soup is served in a bowl and the salad is larger than an average side salad. In addition to the soup and salad, we received a nice warm loaf of bread. The bread is definitely not homemade, but was still very delicious. No olive oil for dipping, just a few packets of butter for dipping or spreading — again, not a big deal. Our entrees came shortly thereafter. Again, the portions were quite plentiful. I would have liked a bit more broccoli in my dish as it seemed disproportionate to the pasta, however, a small complaint. The taste was delicious, but in all honesty I like my pasta broccoli better than their version. I had hoped to have some wings during our visit, but we just weren’t that hungry. However, I’ve had them and the pizza many times and have nothing but good things to say about the quality and taste of those items. Ambiance — 3 Service — 5 Cost — 4 Taste — 4

We had a business lunch here yesterday & I was jaw dropping impressed with our waitress. You know the feeling of going to a restaurant and saying to yourself and your tablemates«she is a really good waitress» well that is what happened yesterday. She always had a smile — gave us huge amounts of attention — delivery of food was spot on… etc. It was impressive and I loved it! There were about 23 of us split into 2 long tables and each table had their own waitress.(The restaurant interior is not that large to accommodate large groups but they did the best they could.) The décor inside is very quaint and attractive(and Italian!). The food was good too and the cannoli was to die for! I had the Italian feast with 3 little samples of entrees– lasagna, chicken parm & fettuccine alfredo. Also had side salad(yummy) and a cup of pasta fagiolie soup(nothing spectacular but OK). The entrees were good and properly cooked for the most part, the lasagna had a little burnt spot on the bottom, but that’s OK with me as I love burnt cheesy things! I live over an hour away from this place so I will probably not be going back but if it was closer to me I would for sure be going back just to be pampered by a terrific waitress! My lunch entrée was $ 12.99 and well worth every penny. The co-workers I was seated around liked their choices too. A girl across from me got the stuffed mushrooms and they looked delicious and were HUGE! She said they were really good. The appetizers people ordered were very ample & some shared them with others. So if you go — keep that in mind & order a few varieties & exchange with others to try different ones.

This is an excellent Italian restaurant. The service is great too, always served with a smile. My favorite is the lasagna, it’s a huge portion with lots of meat and cheese. The spaghetti parm is awesome too, a huge portion. An item worth trying is the stuffed pepper pizza. They slice up the stuffed hot peppers on their appetizer menu and bake it on a pizza. It’s awesome! Their dinner salads are the best with lots of fresh toppings such as cheese, tomato. Croûton, chi chi beans. There doesn’t seem to be a long wait on weekends, which is nice.

The food is good and fairly priced. I recommend only eating in as they consistently struggle to get take out orders correct. Frequently an item is missing or a completely different item from what was ordered is received.

This is my in laws joint for pizza, wings and subs. Never disappointing and the prices are fair. The restaurant for take out is clean. Ive eaten lunch in once and the food was pretty decent and the service was great. I recently got take out which included pizza and wings. Very good, but the standout was the calamari. Wowwwwww so good! So good our group fought over them. Get calamari, for 9.00 its more than worth it!

If Oliver Garden and Applebee’s made a baby this would be it, Pasquale’s. The server was was nice, quick on her feet, and on top of all our table needs. They had an extensive wine, beer, and drink special list which is always good, but nothing you can’t find anywhere else. Place was clean and had a neat presentation. The menu lacked creativity and was very basic with it’s dishes and specials for the night. If you are looking for a light meal or healthy option menu this is not the place, but it is Italian what else would you expect. I did not expect anything extraordinary walking in, do to the location of the restaurant and the presentation of the place. If I was 90 years old and wanted a night out with my significant other at 5 p.m. on a Saturday this would be the spot. That being said, I will probably not be coming back here anytime soon unless I am with my grandparents again. For my meal I ordered the Sampler Plater, a House Salad, and the Shrimp Alfredo. The Sampler Plater aka«Deep Fried Glory» had; pizza logs, chicken tenders, mozzarella cheese sticks, and onion rings with four different dipping sauces. I bet you can guess what four they brought out; hot sauce, blue cheese, tomato sauce, and mustard. My house salad on the other hand was delightful. It had fresh spring greens, tomatoes, black olives, onions, croutons, with chopped cabbage and carrots, topped with fresh mozzarella cheese. With you basic options for dressings. My Shrimp Alfredo was quite depressing, from the meal itself to the lack of garnishing on the plate. Looked and tasted like they microwaved my noodles and sauce, gave it a quick stir, then plopped 5 tiny shrimp on top. When I order Alfredo and am eating high carb I expect my Alfredo to have a good amount of sauce in the mix, I think the kitchen that night was running low on it’s white sauce and tried to get one last meal out of the kitchen. Noodles were cooked well and the shrimp were highly disappointing. Give me 5 jumbo shrimp I can understand, but give me 5 tiny shrimp, I DON’T THINKSO! For the price of the meal I should have just went to the store and bought a lobster and cooked it at home. Nice place for large gatherings with family. NOT a place to take a date! Would avoid gathering with a young group of friends, unless it is happy hour after work they do have a decent bar set up.

Had a terrible experience, though the server was excellent. First of all, I’m a vegetarian and I told the server this. I ordered garlic bread and«marinara» sauce – several dips in, I discovered there are chunks of ground beef in it. I highly doubt the server knew – probably a chef error. Did he not know that traditional marinara is vegetarian? I ran to the bathroom to hurl while my fiancée attempted to cancel the rest of our order. Too late: the food came out: they had charged us *full price* for everything! Shocking. I couldn’t bear to argue the check with them because I had to get out of there fast and go chew some gum, brush my teeth – anything. The server was clearly sympathetic and apologetic, but no manager or chef came out to apologize or at least deduct the secret beef and garlic bread. I don’t know if they realized that for vegetarians there are literally no enzymes in our bodies that can break down beef: we get a full-on stomach ache – which I had for three hours. But I doubt they get many vegetarians in Derby. In any case, I’ll never eat there again.

Dinner with family before I left for Maine. I ordered a Combo Platter(mozzarella sticks, pizza logs, chicken fingers, and onion rings served with a variety of dipping sauces). My order was for Seafood Chowder and Seafood Medley(Scallops, shrimp, crab and bell peppers sautéed in a light creamy bell pepper sauce served over linguine). Great combination. I’m a resident of Maine who lives on the Atlantic coast. I know about good seafood. These dishes were great. and the service

Pizza was a cross of a homemade local with pizza hut goodness! The white pizza is what we ordered and added mushrooms. Full bar a plus!

Not really authentic Italian, everything tasted like it was frozen. Lasagna was cold in middle. A little pricey too, not exactly good value. If I am paying $ 14 for chick parma, someone’s nana better be in the kitchen breading it.

Every time we come back to visit family my husband insists on hitting up Pasquale’s. Best chicken finger subs in town, this is literally the only thing he orders, every single time! I have sampled the menu, and everything is always very tasty. I really like their baked ziti, and they are kid friendly, which is always a plus.
