Ruby Tuesday at Deptford mall has certainly gone down hill, used to like it but my experience tonight I will not be returning back. First of all we waited about ten minutes before someone even came up to us or acknowledged we were there, and the place was not busy at all. The women who sat me and my family was completely miserable and didn’t even say«hi how are you» or even acknowledge us really. Our table was disgusting. Food everywhere and on the seats, it was unbelievable how dirty it was. I went to go ask the women who sat us to have someone come clean it and she acted as if I was bothering her, and after standing there waiting for ten minutes, we all just left and went over to red robin which had a very friendly staff and was delicious. So if you ever go to the mall I suggest red robin over ruby Tuesday any day.

Ruby Tuesday(this one in particular) always takes me right back to high school. This was one of the spots my friends and I frequented when we’d visit the Deptford Mall after class. Back then, I always chose the Carolina Chicken Salad or the Chicken BLT. Yesterday, I branched out with the Spinach Dip and Classic Quesadilla — which, I believe, is a new item. It came highly recommended from our [super friendly] server. Unfortunately, both dishes fell short, especially the quesadilla. But what can you expect from a chain? I was also very annoyed because of the noise level. We should have sat around the bar because I have a low tolerance for screeching/crying. I know it can’t be avoided, but geesh. Also know that their beer list sucks. They listed off«Bud, Coors, Miller, Forgotten Boardwalk» to the tables next to me, and then I overheard the server say, «Forgotten Boardwalk’s Funnel Cake is similar to an IPA» and might have choked to myself. Aaaand Stone’s Ruination is a stout, right? [/beernerd] But yeah, Ruby’s is what you’d expect. Stick to the regulars and the salad bar.

My friend and I were shopping for a good priced New Years outfit for an upscale party. Traffic was so bad we decided to stop here. The appetisers were pretty good. My asiago steak was good and his ny steak was too. The salad bar was a dissApointed and my grilled zucchini was bland. The waitress was a sweet girl but service was really slow. his mac n cheese was somewhat dry and the drinks were weak. Dessert was excellent. The meal was ok but I expected quicker service since it wasn’t that busy, but then again dinner for two was $ 80 and not $ 200 so if this helps anyone, cool

Ordered the pork chop asked for it to be cooked medium so it would not be dry. It was served we done and very dry I had to send it back. Everything we ordered was either over spiced or over salted to the point of being unrecognizable as to what it was pork shrimp spinach dip, etc. I had to ask to see the manager instead of the manager stopping by. Won’t see us here again!

I’ve been seeing ads on ABC for weeks on the west coast for Ruby Tuesday even though there aren’t any RTs on the west coast. Well tonight I was finally able to satisfy my need for the shrimp po’boy flatbread! It was everything I’d hoped for and more. Service was great and my friend and baby were accommodated with the stroller etc. The food came out fresh and hot and beforehand we were served cheesy herb biscuits — yum!

I’ve been going to Ruby Tuesday’s since I was a kid with my family. We all have that chain restaurant we love. I especially love it now that they have changed the menu and generally upgraded the restaurants and food choices. I got something from the light-fair menu, grilled chicken with a light cheese sauce with artichokes with a side of zucchini. I really liked it, I was full so I took home what was left, but I have no doubt it will be good day 2. Of course I’ll be back.

I usually sit at the bar when I’m there. The bartenders are friendly, offer good recommendations, and efficient. I have tied some appetizers during happy hour, they were all decent enough. The fish tacos were pretty good too, sort of BBQy. I usually just get the salad bar. It has enough variation in it to serve as a good, light meal. I definitely appreciate that they have peas as an option in the salad bar. I do think that it is weird how low the sneeze guard is on the salad bar, if you are even average height, you’ll have to bend at a strange angle to get your arm under there and sort of fling the food onto your plate. I guess it is better then people rubbing their faces all over the produce, and people attempt to fill their plates does make for good entertainment while you are eating.

We always enjoy the salad bar. I decided to take a chance on the bourbon salmon. I asked for it rare. In a little while the cook or manager came to our table and explained they couldn’t cook fish rare. The best they could do was med rare. When it came, it was cooked more than I like but no where near as well done as other places. I appreciated being told and I appreciated the fish being done correctly for med rare. We’ll be back.

I enjoyed that the burger cooked to order was made according to the actual order, unlike some burger chains that overcook everything the same. However the burger was too greasy and caused the pretzel bun to delapidate itself before I was halfway done eating it. The fries, by contrast were cold and hard. I asked the waitress if they were reheated, and she said definitely not but offered to remake them for me. I didn’t think they would appeal to me either way, so I dropped it. The salad bar was somewhat redeeming. Although it was the end of the day and the spinach appear to be wilting, the majority of the salad bar was well stocked enough, and fresh, and the serving area was sufficiently clean.

I’m usually not a fan of chain restaurants — they’re really the devil as far as I’m concerned, but given how awesome the Carolina Chicken Salad was at the Mt. Laurel location, I stopped in Deptford for a quick bite on my way to an evening class. It was a pretty standard visit for a chain restaurant — everyone greeted me and smiled. My waiter, Matt, told me about the new menu and his favorite item. I opted for my usual salad since I was a bit short on time. It came out quickly and my drink was refilled. The salad was fresh and filling. The service was pretty good and if I had more time, I would have tried one of their new desserts.

I had from the special menu and my fish was good along with the two sides that I picked from the menu. I wasn’t in the mood for alcohol, and ordered a lemonade drinks that they made in-house. It was super delicious!!!

I always have a great time when I’m here, they have fancy foods with their own unique flavors. I like at atmosphere for the most part and the décor is very modern. Would recommend to most for an elegant night out.
