Great lemon pistachio shortbread cookies. Only wish I could purchase a variety, or a few of each type of cookies, rather than prepackaged. By the pound? They are a little expensive at $ 8 a package. Excellent though!

We walked by and I realized we were at Victory Love + Cookies and so I had to go in. The lady I worked with was so, so friendly and if my rating was based just on my experience with her, it would be 5 stars. She worked for the bakery side(Denver Bread Company) of the business. The cookie side of the store will take credit cards, FYI, while the bakery side is cash/check only. Sadly I had no cash on me so I couldn’t get a loaf of the incredible bread(I had a sample). I opted for the strawberry margarita cookies and the lemon cookies. With all of the rave reviews, I was expecting to be blown out of the water with flavors. I found neither of them to be earth shattering flavors. The texture was nice and delicate but both could have used a touch more salt to enhance the flavors. The bags were $ 7 each which when you break that down per cookie, really isn’t out of line but it seems like a lot when you can’t get a single cookie and you aren’t blown away.

I saw that FOXNews has rated their chocolate chip cookies as one of the best in the nation. I decided to give it a try because I was in the area. They were certainly good but I wouldn’t call them the best in the nation. Their bread is fantastic. As mentioned in another review they are located in the Denver bread Company store.

I don’t get it. First of all, the prices are insane. I bought the chocolate chip cookies today…(since all the other flavor options were not at all enticing). As Unilocal’s rating says – Meh. I’ve had better. Truly nothing special. Frankly, even King Soopers’ bakery makes better chocolate chip cookies.

Victory Love + Cookies is such an amazing back story of how it became a store ! I saw it on Unique Sweets and had to visit ! Its a little confusing cause its in the bread company but when you go in your going to have a hard time deciding what to get with the vast amount of flavors !!! There are NOVEGAN cookies which is disappointing but there is a great selection of bread and cookies for sale ! I got the Strawberry Margarita cookies from unique sweets they come in a pack of 3 and are AMAZING so soft and chewy taste like a real drink! Little pricy there but fun place.

VLC is the favorite cookie bakery for both my spouse and me. There are some businesses that I deal with that are run by people that are passionate about what they do — VLC is one. Details count. Kristy has both passion and talent. we have ordered Diablo, Ginger, Lemon Shortbread, Booty Bars and Lavender Shortbread cookies and they all have been outstanding. She even included a sampler of Oatmeal cookies and even though I’m not a big fan of oatmeal cookies(well actually, the raisins in most oatmeal cookies). I easily devoured them. Our favorites are the Booty Bars(for a sinful occasional treat that we share) and the Diablo. Being from Texas, I will tell you VLC can’t ship the Booty Bars in the summer, so order soon or you’ll have to wait until fall. The product is incredible, the service always courteous and fast, and the owner is clearly grateful for your business. Thanks Kristy. we’re life long customers.

I’m so glad we discovered Victory Love. A girlfriend back in Illinois emailed me after seeing the Booty Bars on the food network telling me I’d better get some. They were a huge hit with everyone who tried them. I’m personally allergic to chocolate, so I’ve been making my way through the non-choc offerings. My two faves right now are the Lime Sugar and Raspberry Lemonade. Just amazing. I tried the lavendar shortbread, and while they taste great and I loved the texture, they smell like my bubble bath and I just couldn’t get passed that. The lime are 6 bucks for a 4 pack, so I don’t think they’re too expensive at all. If you have questions about pricing, just email them and Kristy will get back to you right away. I’ve emailed several questions and always get prompt responces.

I wish prices were listed because I ended up paying $ 21.50 for 9 cookies(2 of them were booty bars at $ 4 each). Major sticker shock when they told me how much I owed. I know, you’ll say, «but these cookies have quality ingredients», but I’ll still say they are overpriced and just a bit above average when it comes to taste. If you don’t mind paying an average of $ 2 for one cookie, then I’d say give it a try.

I can’t decide on a favorite cookie from Victory Love + Cookies. Each one I tried was as good as or better than the last. The Strawberry Margarita cookies, the Carrot Cake cookies, the Bootie Bars, the Diablos. .. each cookie is made with love and you can tell! These are hands down the best and most innovative cookies I have ever eaten. And they aren’t all non-traditional either. There are amazing Oatmeal Raisin and Chocolate Chip cookies, but none of them could ever be considered ordinary. Victory Love + Cookies can turn anyone into a cookie monster. I know I’ll be back for more!
