This location has been closed for about a month and moved elsewhere. But judging from the name of the new business’ sign, I think it’s going to be a 420 grass store next.

Literally anything you could need or want. Slightly pricey — but the first word in «Convenience Store» is ‘convenience.’ Great ownership, life-saving location.

I lost my lock. I needed it for the lockers at the gym. The gym attendents told me they didn’t carry locks and didn’t know a place that did. So I had to bust out on my bike in search of a simple combination lock. The journey was more difficult than I expected. First I tried Safeway, assuming a large grocery store would carry locks. The only had an inadequate luggage lock and bulky locks with keys that wouldn’t work for my planned swimming. So then I went to two separate 7/11s thinking maybe they’d have what I needed. Nope! Another little indie convenience store maybe? Bingo! Uptown Market had just what I needed at just the time I needed it. And it was easily located right across the front entrance. I told the very nice owner how glad I was they carried combination locks. He seemed perplexed that other didn’t. It might have something to do with Uptown Market being sort of a «smoker’s shop» in addition to a convenience store. But the store is well stocked and well organized and with an owner who is friendly and happy to help his customers. Just what a store should be.

This is a good neighborhood convenience store. They don’t have everything you need, but it is enough. It definitely helps to have a place close by for when I run out of sugar or I need my daily Monster Fix. They have frozen food items, bread, hot dog buns and a new paraphernalia section near the register that adds to the flavor.
