Good spot. Stopped for lunch. Decent crowd. Served complimentary chips a and salsa. Salsa seemed to be made here. Had a good flavor and just the right heat for me. Had the Breakfast Burrito w bacon and potatoes. Burrito came covered w cheese and chile sauce w a side of lettuce. Perfect size meal. Sauce really spiced it up. Again just enough heat. Would have liked to see mor eggs in the burrito, but all in all it was a good, and inexpensive meal. I’d come back!

They can’t keep up consistency everytime I’ve gone in and ordered the same thing too go it’s always in a different package, sometimes with avo, sometimes with rice and beans, with lettuce and without. They changed owners uped the prices, lowered the qualilty and got some new employees who are bad at their easy jobs. The only thing that they are consistent at is being inconsistent. I have eaten there for years and will not eat there again.

I’m always on the lookout for good breakfast burritos w/vegetarian green chile. I’ve tried quite a few all over the Denver area. I came to Torres to try their breakfast burrito, and as such, this review is solely about that. The atmosphere at Torres is what you’d expect from a restaurant off of Colfax with the word ‘express’ in the name. It’s a little divey; nothing too special but not bad by any means. The service was okay. Definitely not exceptional, but not bad either. The food came out quickly(like REALLY quick. I think it only took like 5 minutes). As for the food, the salsa that came with the complimentary chips was quite good. Nicely spiced and not overly hot. The breakfast burrito was decent. I enjoyed the green chile. It had a good flavor and a nice kick. The innards of the burrito(eggs & potatoes) were less exciting. The potatoes were a little undercooked for my preference and there were barely any eggs. Aside from the green chile, the burrito didn’t have a lot of flavor. But hey, at least the green chile was good! Although I wasn’t overly impressed with any single part of my experience here, it wasn’t bad either. It was perfectly mediocre. In my book, that warrants another visit.

Great drink specials during happy hour and excellent rellanos! Super friendly staff. I am a student at campus across the street, and eat here regularly. Food is fast and consistently tasty. The cheap breakfast burritos to go are essential when I’m in a rush!

Not real Mexican food! It’s not good at all. First and last time coming here. Not a place I consider coming back to.

I really enjoy this place! Great food at a reasonable price and delicious margaritas. The customer service experienced was above and beyond which had an impact on me. Plenty of TVs as well to watch the game. This is a great secret spot to bring friends!

Really cool spot with a half price drink happy hour, right across from the Auraria campus. Great ambiance, a pleasant surprise for the modest strip mall location.
