Jessica Hakes is the by far the best aesthetician I have ever been to. And that is saying a lot seeing as I’ve been waxing since I was in 5^th grade. No joke I’m super hairy. When I met Jessica Hakes a little over 9 years ago my life changed. My eyebrows have never looked better. I get compliments on them all of the time. Jessica is amazing. She turns what some people dread (the pain of being waxed) into a fun almost therapeutic experience that I look forward to. She is so great at what she does and highly professional my husband has even gone to her a few times as well. Just recently as a pregnancy pick me up my husband treated me to a facial with Jessica. The time I spent on her table was the most peaceful luxurious time I can remember. Jessica made custom scrubs and lotions to fit my super dry skin needs and was also very sensitive to my magnified pregnancy induced sense of smell. I left her feeling refreshed and invigorated. My skin felt the smoothest it’s ever felt and it glowed for days and days it was amazing. People kept telling me throughout my pregnancy that I had that «pregnant glow» but I didn’t really feel as if my skin was truly glowing till I saw my skin after my facial with Jessica. I highly highly recommend Jessica Hakes and Tonic Aesthetics to anyone considering a wax and/​or facial of any kind. Jessica is a wonderful esthetician! She is amazing at waxing, she did my brazilian quickly and efficiently. I have had no ingrowns and plan on going back to her again and again! She is also amazing at Microderm and any type of peel. It’s especially convenient with her downtown location, I can often times sneak in on a break to get my services done quickly! I highly recommend Jessica for any esthetic service you many need.

First off, Jessica is awesome! She is super friendly and has created a comfortable and inviting space. She also uses really high quality products, so none of that irritating redness afterwards ;) Really great prices too, comparable if not a bit less than local competitors. Can’t recommend highly enough! If you’re looking for an excellent and quick wax, at a good price, Tonic can’t be beat!

Jessica is AMAZING!!! I went there for an eyebrow wax and a Brazilian and came out so happy and relaxed. She took her time and explained everything very thoroughly as I am a newbie to waxing. The atmosphere is so calm and relaxing, she really makes sure you feel comfortable and even offered me aromatherapy to soothe my nerves. Really reasonable prices and the location is perfect. Highly recommend to everyone!
