I really wish I could give her at least 4 stars because she was friendly and professional, however, I was nickle and dimed an additional $ 45 and cannot believe what she gets away with. The Groupon offer was $ 49 for cut and color, marked down from $ 100. What they don’t mention is that it’s an extra $ 20 for long hair (although very fine) $ 25 for a deep conditioning and $ 30 just to blow dry! I turned down the conditioning because of the upcharges I was already facing. She said the $ 30 was for styling but only dried it and sent me on my way. Ridiculous in my opinion and I will not be returning or recommending her services, even though she did an ok job overall. Groupon shoppers beware…

I bought an NCrowd deal for a Brazilian blowout. When I called to make the appointment the woman was VERY rude and told me she would not honor the deal because she stopped taking them 3 months prior, which made no sense because I bought it a month ago and later she told me she never put it on there. Which is it? She then told me she would have nothing to do with it and NCrowd must pay me. I was told, «Go deal with them.»
Worst customer service, rude and horrible way to run a business. I would have given no stars if possible.

I purchased a groupon deal for a full highlight and cut. I have normal hair that is about 5 inches past my shoulders. I just wanted a trim on my hair and the full highlights which is what I thought I had purchased. I get to my appointment to be told that I fell into an exception for the deal «extra charges may apply for length, density, texture,» where I would have to be charged for extra for color and extra for a cut b/​c my hair was long (justification — Time & product). I was then told I would have to pay extra for blow out and style (due to more product and more of her time), which I could understand since that wasn’t specifically listed in the deal, but this added to a very unpleasant feeling as a customer. Having color done and not having a stylist even dry it out to make sure the color came out correct is a bit odd. I was sitting there trying to understand how the deal was even offered if you get there and start getting nickel and dimed just to get some basic pieces of a salon visit. Everything about this felt very wrong.
If you purchase something that specifically says Full highlight and Cut, it feels wrong to then be told you have to pay more just to get the basic deal you purchased, however I can understand needing to charge more on long hair for color due to the product, though I have never been told this about my length, but been charged extra for wanting two tones of highlight.
Personally, I thought Tig was a very nice person. She was not rude about expressing her policies and I appreciate her telling me this up front which is the best customer service thing about this experience. It came down to me leaving without anything done and having to deal with Groupon to get a refund.
I find that it was a bit impossible to see how anyone could walk in and not fall into the exception rules which makes the Groupon offer pointless to purchase. She tried to say that lots of salons charge extra on every piece. I have been to many other salons across the US and have never been told that I needed to pay extra to get a trim on my hair when I am already paying for a «cut» nor have I ever encountered a situation like this with getting my hair done
Very nice lady, though I don’t agree with her policies, she at least handles it decently — which is why this is a three star review when the feeling I left with was actually a one star feeling — probably needs to not do Groupon deals in this manner as it makes for poor customer practices.

Tig is fantastic!!! I got an amazing Groupon for a partial highlight and cut.
I have never walked out of a salon and thought «wow, this is exactly what I wanted» until tonight. I am loving the subtle highlights and the cut she gave me could not be more exact! She has achieved what no hair stylist has ever achieved… she’s found a repeat customer in me. Her salon is tiny, but super cute and intimate in a way I’ve never experienced in a salon. Nobody sweeping up around me, loud music, tons of dryers going… just Tig and I and some awesome 90’s R&B at a reasonable level. :) She is very talented, as well as an all-​around lovely person (she looks a lot like Sade, the singer, too). Don’t hesitate if you see a Groupon and think «this has got to be too good to be true.» She is the real deal.

I have been getting my hair cut and highlighted by Tig since October and she is amazing! She listens to what you want and I am always so happy with how my hair turns out! She does a great job! Reasonable prices too! I always leave satisfied and loving my hair.

Tig is a great stylist. She is very gentle, and sweet and the place does not feel pretentious in the slightest. She makes friendly conversation and is very kind as she cuts your hair. I have so much hair, most stylists seem somewhat put out by it, but tig was non plussed. She did exactly what I asked, but clearly used her professional judgement for what works. It really feels and looks great.
I love the way my hair turned out, the color is great and the cut seems perfect. I could not give it 5 stars, as I never judge my cuts until 3 weeks… I think that is when you can tell how good the haircut is. But so far, so good.
