The Tamale Stand in Coors Field by 1st Base

Here’s the deal. I went to two Rockies games in a row. On day 1, I was very excited to get a hot dog and smother it in hot dog paraphernalia like saurkraut and mustard, etc.
On day 2, I was still feeling a little iffy due to the quantity of beer and hot dog I had consumed on day 1, so I needed a change. This is where the Tamale stand came into play!
At first, I was going to get a burrito becuase my girlfriend had decided she was, but then, like a mirage in the desert, I saw the Tamale stand. I was immediately drawn to this beautiful oasis and found that not only do you have pork tamales, but you also smother them in pork green chile and heat them to a delightful, steamy temperature. Then to my amazement, I also discovered that you sold plastic bottles of Budweiser as well! Since I hate Coors Light, I was in pure heaven.
To be clear, the green chile was mediocre with some odd chunks of pork in it, but the tamales were well textured and better than I would expect at a baseball stadium. With my low expectations, I was happily suprised.
