If «Free Drinks» actually means«Free Wells and Beer Bottles» then advertise it as such! I shouldn’t have to waste my time arguing over getting a free top shelf shot just because your website says«There’s no catch, just free alcohol.» Either offer truly free drinks or put a disclaimer on that stuff. And turn down the music; I can barely hear anything.

You are not open I just passed by. 1.25.16 @ 12.40am coming from the Broncos game vs. Patriots and Unilocal says you’re open now, but incorrect. I’ve been here once before while visiting denver about 4 months ago and had a great time please update your hours of operation online because I has an über driving around on the clock. Second star is for first experience. Hopefully you’re open on next trip…

I loved this place! It was such a great place to go on my first trip to Denver. It’s definitely a good local hangout. The ambiance and décor are awesome, and the drinks are really tasty. It’s a younger crowd, which was a lot of fun for me. Plus they have really interesting drink specials, like«flip night» where if you win a coin toss you get your drink for free. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in Denver!

As my first visit was on a very uncrowded Tuesday night at 1030pm, not sure I’m the best candidate for a full blown review, so I will be writing again after my second visit! However, based on this visit, I very much enjoyed myself. We stopped in after a show at Comedy Works across the street, and as I said, it was pretty empty. Including our party of 10, there were maybe 25 people in the joint, which actually made for a really great evening. We chatted and hung around an open table, met a few new people, and enjoyed our tasty beverages. Only thing that concerned me was the musical selection… 90’s Hip Hop just really didn’t fit the atmosphere! I was pretty thrown off haha, as much as I love the 90s. Felt like, for that type of evening(i.e. not being a crowded weekend) we could’ve used a less«in-your-face» kind of tunage. Just my opinion :)

The male bartender here with the brown hair and beard is a complete jerk. He was rude to everyone in my group, including my friend who got to have free drinks all night. He obviously hated his job and this guy was just looking for a fight but we left, they just lost 8 customers.

No TV service during a broncos game what kind of travesty is this? You should be ashamed of yourselves as a bar

I like everything about The Front Porch except for the fact they play their music way too loud(too early in the evening). I showed up around 8:00PM to hang with some buddies & chat, but we had a hard time hearing each other. I can understand loud music in bars, but The Front Porch is set up to be a very close and almost intimate hangout. They have seats, standing tables, and even couches. The music was great, but I had to lean over & yell to my friend in order for him to hear me. Other than that, the place is really cool. I love how the bar drops down when you walk-in, & the different design elements incorporated into the place. The place gets 5-stars for feng shui!

The bouncer violently assaulted a friend, literally fracturing his skull. The restaurant has done so little that the bouncer was at work the next night. It is literally not safe to get through the door at this place and they don’t seem to care in the least.

Beautiful beautiful décor. It had a laid back atmosphere and friendly bartenders. It also has flip night Wednesdays. Flip for free drinks and free drinks on the date your name shows up on calendar.

Fun décor, good music, «meh» drink options. Date of Visit: 8÷1÷15 Front Porch has to be one of the cooler-looking bars I’ve been to, I’ll give it that. Dressed up in wood, leather, and wrought iron, it feels more like a ski lodge than a drinkery, which is a nice change from the tried-and-true look of many bars in downtown Denver. While their drink list isn’t very impressive from a beer or cocktail standpoint, they always seem to deliver a fun crowd with great music. I also have to jokingly give a demerit for lack of inclusion in their«Name Night» promo, wherein each night, select names get to drink for free. Show the Colters some love already!

Love these guys. Some of the friendliest bartenders in Denver. I always come in on flip night and name nights, even when I’m drinking for free the bar staff are great.

The two times I’ve made the mistake of going here we were overcharged for our drinks. Upon asking the bartender to look over the mistake(in both instances), I was met with condescending rebuttals. However, they didn’t dispute the refund back to my credit card. Twice. Not my idea of a friendly neighborhood establishment that makes their money honestly.

Pretty fun bar with great bartenders and amazing vibe. Wednesdays are flip night(must try) and every other night has free drinks for 3 lucky names. Can’t beat it! I love sitting on the window sills where it opens up to the street.

Pretty fun bar. Really nice and with Wednesday night(flip night) and the name days, it makes it fun to go out here, especially with a group. I’d definitely recommend it!

Finally went to check this place out after the bouncers at Tavern told us we’d have more fun there since it was«flip night» where you flip a coin and if you guess right you get that round of drinks for free. 50⁄50 odds of a free drink?! Much better than my odds in Vegas! My friend and I ordered a vodka and pineapple juice(basic, I know) and guessed heads. We were wrong darn it but hey. Better luck next time. We handed the bartender our card and she came back with the receipt to sign — $ 24! WHAAAAAT! I can buy a whole bottle of semi good vodka for $ 24, what on earth?! Lesson I learned was you better guess right or you’re leaving this bar a broke person.

the ambience of this place is real chill. the crowd however makes it really loud. it was packed on a Thursday night just before the snow storm. i sat down at the bar and was greeted immediatelty. asked for a scotch with some type of orange bitters mixed in and the bartender did not dissapoint. Edison Bulbs hanging from the cieiling was an awesome touch. this is a friends favorite bar and now i see why. if i lived in Denver id visit often as well.

I happened into The Front Porch last Sunday eve. By buddy and I were headed to another spot just down the street but saw the sign out front with his name on it. In a brilliant marketing ploy– Front Porch randomly chooses three names who get FREEDRINKS all night and posts them on a small A-Frame folding chalkboard sign on the sidewalk. Well…it worked. Not overly crowded on a Sunday– maybe a few dozen folks all gathered around the flat wall style bar. The walls feature a beautifully finished wooden interior. Drinks– well. affordable for me– FREE for my buddy. Service was good– how could you bitch about slow service for free drinks? Would I return– maybe. Especially if I see my name on the A-Frame sometime.

I came here for a «free drink night» and it wasn’t half bad but didn’t blow my mind either! They essentially offer free beers(no draft, sorry guys– but it included some craft brews like New Belgium, ect.) and wells. Where they get you is with the overpriced drinks that your friends are forced to buy when they’re there with you. I liked the décor and we went earlier(around 7) so it wasn’t busy at all. They only problem is that it was hard getting my drinks while sitting at the bar because the bar tenders were just hanging out on the side and chatting/playing on their phones. I would probably come back again for the free drinks but not other than that I won’t unless I catch the bar at happy hour.
