The Current Look

Jen is the best! I was referred to her by one of my friends who had been seeing her for years. I sat down in her chair for the first time with my hair box dyed almost black and told her I wanted it to be a light brownish blonde. She was very honest with me about what she could do and what she felt comfortable doing. We agreed to take it slow so that I could get my desired color while keeping my hair healthy. It took a few appointments (scheduled 4 — 6 weeks apart) but now I am very happily dirty blonde. My color has so much depth and shine. Jen always has fun ideas and nails color every time. Prices are completely affordable too!
After my first trip to see Jen, I finally got my mom, who was 64 and had NEVER colored her RED hair to see Jen. My mom was getting grey and it was time. She was SOO nervous. Jen nailed it on the first shot and has kept my mom coming back for more!
Aside from her amazing skills, Jen is amazingly efficient. Forget blacking out your whole afternoon for a trip to the salon — what once took 2 and a half or 3 hours takes Jen an hour and a half — MAX! And the time flies by since Jen is such a blast to be around. She always has fun stories to share and the private salon environment is very inviting. Sit back with a glass of wine (did I mention she’ll serve you wine?!), relax, and leave The Current Look beautiful as ever!

i am EXTREMELY picky about my hair (as most women are) and have left more hair cuts crying or unhappy than not. two years in chicago and i never found a stylist i liked… the first stylist i went to since i moved to denver was jen and i won’t go anywhere else! she gave me a great cut and listened to exactly what i wanted. i’ve gone to her twice now and she did a really fun ombré look. i never thought my hair could be so fun! i actually left the salon feeling giddy!

Jen saved my life! I had gone to my regular gal and asked for «something different.» She gave me something different alright. I was at the point of having to chop my hair into a pixie cut, but Jen was able to 1) calm me down 2) add extensions 3) color it all to make it match! It turned out beautiful. I can’t tell you how many people have complemented me on my hair since then! She is so fun to talk to and you just know she is skilled and wants to make you beautiful! Thanks again Jen!
