The Copper Fox

Cute place! I saw Jessica for a short haircut, which is always a little nerve racking – getting short hair cut by someone new– but she was so great. She asked a ton of questions about what I like and don’t like before she did anything, and kept checking in during the cut. It turned out great, so excited to have found a new place!

Great salon, clean, friendly staff. Chelsey is amazing with my hair; the color always looks great after she’s done.

This place was randomly recommended to me by someone I met in a dance class and I stopped in, needing my hair dyed before my wedding!
They did everything they could to fit me in within the next week. I had (way too blond) highlights in my hair but I wanted it toned down and I wanted them to use the balayage technique. When I first walked out of there I thought it was too dark, but as Susan (I think that was her name :-/​) assured me, it would lighten up and it did and i loved it. They also give you a complimentary glass of wine which is clutch after a long week of work!

I have got to say this. My daughter gets her hair cut here and absolutely love’s it. I have been here twice while in town from Las Vegas and both times Jessica has transformed me, I mean my hair! I walk out feeling like a new person. Walked in with a bad cut this time and somehow she made sense of it and walked out with a darling cut. Getting compliments nonstop. Thank you Copper Fox. Wish I lived here but defintely my first stop whenever I do come to town!!!

The copper fox makes getting your hair done fun and enjoyable! The atmosphere is so amazing. Relaxing, chic, modern etc. Jessica has been cutting my hair for 4 years, and I just started coloring they grays with her. She has chopped it off (I told her to, it was my idea!) and given me an amazing bob, and is helping me grow it out now. She also did my wedding hair about a year ago, it was beautiful! I also ALWAYS get compliments on my cut and color. I will never go anywhere else.

I’m updating my review, just to keep up with the times. I have been committed to Shandon at The Copper Fox since they opened, but really, it’s a beautiful love affair! I am sometimes quite the slacker when it comes to getting my hair done, but honestly — I was still getting compliments on my cut/​color *6 months* after my last cut. ***6 MONTHS*** Now WHO on earth can say that their style looks good for 6 months!!! I can, because my girl Shandon is the GODDESS of hair!
Special note — Shandon is GOOD WITH CURLS. My hair is thick (volume-​wise) but fine, with a lot of texture, and quite unruly in terms of curl pattern (s curls here, spirals there, and oh, yeah, a bit flat over there.) For YEARS I had the dreaded triangle head, from people not knowing how to cut my hair.
With Shandon as the mistress of tresses, I can get up in the morning, shower, and then do nothing other than add a little leave in conditioner, and my curls look amazing. My hair looks «done» the way a natural curl only can. GO SEE SHANDON. You won’t regret it.
And if you really wanna take good care of her, bring her a Vanilla latte. :)

Way past due for a cut, I called Copper Fox to get a next-​day appointment and they were able to get me in. I needed some place close to work, and this salon was within walking distance, right on revitalized 38^th Ave. My appointment was with Chelsey and she gave me an awesome cut. The eclectic décor and color scheme give a relaxing feeling — loved the waiting area; and the stations were uniquely and practically outfitted for stylists.

Stumbled upon this new salon a few months ago and am glad I did. My haircut was with Jessica and I was so pleased with the results. I explained what I wanted and then she produced a great hairstyle. I love it when I get what I want from a salon! Thanks Jessica

Jessica is my favorite stylist ever! I have extremely thick, curly, coarse, and thanks to Colorado’s climate, very dry hair. Every time I come in I feel like she truly listens to me and makes suggestions geared specifically toward my hair type and my lifestyle. I never feel like she’s in a rush or she’s trying to push product on me. My husband loves her because I don’t call him in tears after getting my hair done or try to come home and «fix» it. I’m so happy to have found her & can not recommend her enough!
