We love this place. Manager was a bit rude to us one night but pizza is the best in town for new York style. Biscuits are also amazing. Great scene.

it’s really loud and seems to want to be trendy but i think it’s more fussy. the service is ‘basic’ at best… slow. food is pretty good(I was told the pulled pork is great) — i’m not a huge fan of the atmosphere but will return in the summer to try out drinks on the patio. cheers

We got a mailer for a free 22″ pizza for being new to the neighborhood. It was huge! They have a really great beer selection and they have a bunch of delicious IPA’s. Friendly staff and nice clean facility. I liked the music there a lot as well. We will definitely be going back with friends. Fat Sully’s has a pick up window to get your pizza to go, quick. They also have other restaurants that reside there was well such as for breakfast. That is a cool concept.

Ok Fat Sullys, you think we need a 4th pizza place on Tennyson?(I’m throwing New York Pizza Pub on the list since its on Tennyson about 8 blocks South.) Should be the bomb! Welp, its ok… not bad, nor great. This restaurant has the same problem a few other restaurants have in this neighborhood… cost/value/service. Stopped in for some slices togo. Picked up 2 peps. Took about 10 minutes to heat up some precook slices, spread the peps around and hit’em with a handful of moz.(Had a chuckle watching the big guy trim random slices to size and eat’em up.) The slices came stacked on top of each other in a box, cheese stuck to the wax paper that separated them. The slices were huge but the check totaled $ 10($ 9+$ 1 tip). The slices tasted fine. So I don’t know. Did we need another pizza restaurant… not sure but willing to give them some time to get it better. As of now TAC serves the neighborhood’s 3rd best pizza. Hops & Pie reigns supreme for artisan and Parisi’s has awesome neapolitan style. You can also hit up Right Coast on 38th in Wheat Ridge where 2, 3 topping slices of the same size are $ 6.50. — update I ordered a large pizza for delivery for the Broncos game. It was really good. — update 2 Ordered the same pie again for another Broncos game and it was really good again. Ive also taken some slices to go since my first review. The slices are still what they are. My feeling is just get a whole pie:)

We’ve been going to the Broadway location for years and have never had a bad experience. We’ve been to this location twice and had the same bad experience. Waited far too long for our order to be taken, far too long for the food to arrive and far too long for drink refills. Both times the place wasn’t very busy. The staff seem unbalanced. Both times someone other than the hostess sat us because she was away from her station and someone else noticed us just standing there. Both times there seemed to be only one waitress working with others working as food runners. Both times the waitress was working the bar as well. The last time something must have happened to our order. After 20 minutes, and watching three tables seated after us get their meals, the man who sat us brought us a cinnamon roll to nibble on and apologized for the wait. No one ever explained why it ultimately took 30 minutes to get our food. The free cinnamon roll was burnt black on one side, rock hard and the icing cold and congealed. It should never have made it to a table. …free or not. Food was good but service needs addressed.

Save a cheat day, ride over to Atomic Cowboy(See what I did there?).When you show up to a friends house and say I’m hungry if he’s a good friend he will take you here. Now I had heard good things about this place and Denver Biscuit Company which I guess it turns into in the mornings. So we sit down(no wait) and I’m looking over the beer list. So many options! Our waitress let me try a few because he said I might not like them(I didn’t) and only my cat can read my mind like that so props to her. There were a lot of other beers I did like though and they had a good happy hour. You come to this place to get pizza because who doesn’t like good pizza(you need an exorcism if you don’t). The choices are to get a huge slice or a HUGE whole pizza. They only have one size of whole pizza and it’s more than any one person should eat at once, coming from me that’s saying a lot. They also have big screen tvs playing some games. what do you people call that. oh yeah. football.

Very big slice of pizza here. Crust was on the thin side, so it wasn’t really filling. They do have a really good selection of beer here. I wish they’d offer their biscuit menu during the evening or incorporate their biscuits and be creative making dinner entrees out of them. I’m pretty sure this a great place but for breakfast. Theres other places in town better with a bigger dinner menu. Perhaps might update this place once I try they’re biscuits.

Great breakfast! Found this place with some friends, and after a short wait on a Sunday morning we enjoyed an amazing breakfast. Loved the DBC and the biscuits and gravy.

Food so bad it makes you want to give up on pizza… The slices are huge and seem to be reasonably priced, then they arrive and you understand why they are so cheap. After breakfast the menu has two options, pizza and a bland, limp salad. The huge slices arrived at our table and we realized they were paper thin and burnt. The crust was so badly burnt it turned into dust when you took a bite. The cheap cheese resembled rubber glue it was so overcooked. We look around at other diners and their faces resembled the same feeling of disgust. With so many great pizza places on Tennyson and 32nd this place comes in at the very bottom.

Atomic Cowboy seems to be a hot location for some unknown reason. It is a pizza place with a limited menu for those willing to accept less. It’s a «full service» restaurant that is limited to the choice of pizza and one sub-par salad. As for the pizza; you can order a gigantic 26″ or be limited to re-heated slices. I will say the slices are huge, the size of a pie at some places. However I cannot say the slices are good. Adding toppings to slices is always a recipe for disaster. The slices they serve are thin as a piece of paper and after reheating you are left with a brittle, burnt crust, and cheese that now has the consistency of rubber. The place gets two starts for a good beer selection and a friendly wait staff. The food doesn’t even deserve 1 star.

Fun, electric atmosphere. Fairly busy for a Friday night but got a table for 3 within 15 minutes. The pizzas are massive! So we went for the individual slice. All slices and pizza are build your own and thin crust(of importance). There is no better pizza than thin crust pizza if you ask me. 1 slice $ 3.50 + additional veggie toppings for .45 each + meat toppings .65 each. A single pizza slice is plenty! I could only eat about half. To be honest, I was most impressed by the family style salad! $ 7.50 for 2 people. It comes with a ton of flavorful toppings, banana peppers, feta, croutons, mushrooms, tomatoes etc. with choice of as many salad dressings you want. We tried the chipotle ranch and honey lemon vinaigrette. Both were really good. Would be interested in coming back to try their brunch. They have a whole menu of biscuit sandwich combinations that look fun to try.

This is going to be brief. I came here one time. We ordered salad and pizza. The salad had a significant amount of wilted lettuce and should not have been served. The salad cook and the waiter DECIDED to overlook this and just serve it anyway. It wasn’t something you could miss. The dressing came on the side in little plastic containers with lids, cafeteria style, and tasted like something from a Kraft bottle. Definitely not made in house. The pizza totally sucked. It was dry, dry, dry, and overcooked. Like a cracker with tomato paste. Awful. The service was otherwise good. The space is nice and the patio is great. But the food? No good at all. Honestly man, I don’t know how places get away with putting out such low level product. Based on the reviews, maybe we just had really bad luck. But somehow I doubt it. I bet if I went back it would be the same. Not sure how people can just sign off on such poorly done food.

Overall: loved the patio atmosphere for brunch. Pretty much everything on the menu is on a biscuit or in a biscuit, and tends to be on the«heavy» side(drowned in gravy or syrup) definitely not for those who are looking for a light/fresh brunch. Service was good and prices were comparable to other brunch places in Denver. The location is great, Tennyson street has a laid back vibe that I really like. Liked: atmosphere, self serve coffee, location Didn’t like: very«heavy» food, too much gravy and syrup for my taste. Felt like I needed a nap after eating my brunch. Having said that though, the food was well prepared.

Host /seating process was painful. The host who originally greeted us asked us 3 times after the original greeting if we’d been helped yet. What? It wasn’t even busy and we were one of only 2 groups standing there. I don’t know if he was high or just had the worst short term memory of all time. Good food saved the day though. We each had a biscuit sandwich and they were delicious. Hopefully they can up the quality of service. Edit: They have seemed to solve the poor service issue. Tried the pizza(custom slices) on 2 separate occasions and it is good. I bet ordering a whole pizza would be even better. Great beer selection.

First time was great-but this time way too meh. Out of every beer I ordered, after 3rd attempt and ten minutes of back and forth, I tried to switch to wine-not for $ 9 for layer cake that costs that for a bottle at the liquor store. Overall both times service not sure they know what they are doing. This time salad and pizza out exact same time and asked for salad first. We rushed to eat our hot pizza and didn’t want to touch our $ 7 salad. Ordered a mixed drink and they can’t mix it. Sour soda water taste. Just needs some staff training all around.

Great staff, always having fun and working hard. I love their specialty cocktails(the homemade jam in a Mule is amazing!) Biscuit dishes are the best, so I wish they would serve ABC later than 2 or 3pm. The pizza is decent but I’m not in love with it. They did a great job with the building, so that’s the 4th star.

Oh, Atomic Cowboy and Fat Sully’s, how I love thee… the other two locations more than this one, though. I know you just opened, so maybe it’s just a one-off bad experience, but I was pretty disappointed. I brought a friend, who had never been to any AC/FS/DBC location, after raving about the pizza. We sat down at about 115p. There weren’t that many people there, and plenty of servers. We were greeted immediately, and shown to a table. Then we waited. And waited. We ordered and got some water. And then waited… … waited… If I recall correctly, it took at least 30 min between ordering our slices and getting our slices. Having been to the other two locations has spoiled me or given me high expectations; as busy as those two locations are, I’ve never waited more than 15 minutes for my slice. It seemed like there were plenty of servers, so I was just… confused and disappointed. But the pizza was great, as usual. I suppose I’ll wait a bit for more of the kinks to get worked out and then try again.

04DEC2015 — Noisy. Really obnoxious. Went at 2030 on a Friday. Won’t do that again. — The flashing arrow sign. I think I am still twitching. — The napkins are still thin, pathetic examples of the genre. + Pizza. Good value. + Beer. Selection and value. 07AUG2015 A warm, inviting atmosphere with rusty metal and wood. Funky lighting. I was greeted warmly by the hostess – always a good sign. More about the food alter. After consumption. + biscuit. Buttery, flakey, delicious. Strawberry-rhubarb compote was fruity without being overwhelmed with sugar. + prosecco split $ 6 + bartender(George) — friendly, efficient + lots of light streaming thru the walls of glass + Wi-Fi + 2 blocks from my house — crappy, lowest end flatware — thin, wimpy napkins
