Really quality boba place. I’m from California so I love boba but haven’t really found many good places since moving to Denver. This place is an exception. There were lots of good flavors to choose from; I got the peach green tea. The tea was tasty, not too sweet like many boba places. The girl even asked if I wanted ice or not, which I appreciated because I don’t really love ice. The bobas themselves were so perfect. Great te3xture. Many places have really chewy boba but this place had soft fresh boba. I’m sad this place doesn’t have a higher rating. A few of the negative review focus more on the hours/location and not the actual quality of the product so I wouldn’t let the mediocre rating stop you from coming here.

Lollicup was closed on Labor Day and my friend and I drove all the way there so we weren’t going to go home without boba. After a quick Unilocal search, we discovered this place. It didn’t have many ratings so I assumed it was some newly opened place and was super excited to try it. The front of the store looked like I stepped into an authentic boba place in the super Asian parts of LA or something. The store was decorated with totoro and other cute Japanese animé stuffed toys and the owner spoke to me in Chinese right away. In my head, I was like finally, Denver opened something authentic and I was in heaven. I ordered a thai iced tea and while the lady was making it, I asked her how long the store has been opened, and she said 8 years. At that point, expectations started falling down the drain. The thai tea was not only expensive($ 5 for a large), but it was way too sweet and too milky. Also the color was off compared to what I am used to. It was a dull orange. Being a boba fanatic, I had high hopes for this place but I was disappointed. I suppose I will have to stick to lollicup while I wait for a boba miracle to happen in Colorado one day.

I’ve been here several times because I keep wanting to give it another shot. However, this place has always been a bad experience. They NEVER get my drink right. I’ve ordered the simplest of drinks and somehow wound up with concoctions not even close to what I wanted. How you get honeydew milk tea from honey green tea is beyond me… The girl making the teas either doesn’t listen or is very bad at her job.

It’s in the back of a restaurant so it is tiny, but it is really yummy! Their classic flavor and almond flavor are really good.

The Boba is good, but I’ve been here more than once, and I have always had to wait 15 or 20 minutes for my drink. The Thai restaurant that’s attached has good food and good prices, but the boba itself isn’t worth the wait.

I came at 10:30 because I was in the area, I looked up the hours and thought oh I can wait with this 2 year old for 30 min, we will get a bagel next door. We come back at 11 and they were not open. We asked other people inside(half is a restaurant) and they said it’s not ready yet. Then a really angry lady came in and the waitress and her angrily discussed something. Translated the answer was open in 10 minutes. It is 11:20 now and they are still not open. Why is it that all the boba places in town are never open when I want boba? I don’t feel like sitting here waiting all day to try this place after the way the lady acted. It’s not my responsibility to open when your store hours are listed. If you open at 11, than OPEN at 11 and don’t get pissy at people when they expect you to be open.
