I love a good philly but this one was just missing something. I don’t think I will be eating here again. Although the hubby did like this place a lot.

Had these guys deliver to Declaration Brewing when their food truck canceled. Not much to say other than on point. We got the hot Italian and the works, just phenomenal. If you’re craving big, dirty, hot, delicious meaty sandwiches you will not be disappointed. Top shelf, on level for best I’ve had. If you’re on the fence, just do it.

Fast and cheap, but good food. We had two Rolling Rocks, a regular cheese steak and one with«The Works», onion rings and fries. Excellent!

Meh. It is good if you have time to kill. They have really good Philly cheesesteaks but I think they are very much influenced by «College life» and don’t know how to have proper Business etiquette.

Service is spotty. Food is fine, but expensive for what you’re getting. The bar has extremely cheap drinks, but it’s teeny tiny.

They have the right rolls but that’s about it. The steak isn’t chopped well and the cheese is wrong(some kind of swiss maybe?). The staff was friendly and the place is clean though. There are much better cheesesteak places.

The service is terrible my food was undercooked and they said my groupon wasnt valid at this location when I’ve used a groupon there before. My «waiter» was a complete dick and I never got asked for anything including refills. I should’ve talked to thier manager but I just wanted to get out of there and never come back. I also think my waiter was drunk too. Also the college kids are really annoying and they seem to just come there for the cheap drinks. Don’t go to this spcs location.

I’m a neighbor stopping in to check out new environment. Small bar top. Small dining area. And lots of free space. My drink stayed empty for five minutes. I swear I’ve counted five or six people behind the bar. So… I’m skeptical on a return. Ill give them a few months and try again.

YUMMY Cheesesteak! I wish I had gotten the larger size, even though the Regular was perfect, the sandwich was just so good I want more! Clean inside, friendly staff, quick service. Will definitely be back!

Food is decent but service is poor. Plus, there were no condiments in the entire place. No ketchup for fries and no whiz for the CS. Have a little pride and step up your game, SPCS

Good Philly-type sandwiches and cheap beers at a location right next to DU. Has enough seating for groups or for an individual to spread out and get some work done. This place is A-OK for students and others who are looking for a bite to eat and a beer while toasting the City of Brotherly Love. The menu intrigues me, yet my cholesterol level warns me…

I liked this place compared to other similar places I have been to. It was clean, had a ton of flat screen TV’s and the staff was great. I was actually surprised when she brought my cheese steak out calling me by my first name– very cool(and unexpected!). The sandwich itself was right on par with what I was expecting. I think I mentioned in other reviews I’m not from Philly so I am not going to pretend to be an expert but to the untrained palate this definitely did the trick for me.

These are, by far, my favorite cheesesteaks in Denver(and I’ve had actual Phillys in Philly). They’ve been closed for a little while now, it says for renovation but I have heard it’s for good. I really hope they re-open because these cheesesteaks would be SORELY missed. The fries are good, too(even though sometimes undercooked). They also have epic Happy Hour deals if that’s what you are after.

I am not a huge Philly Cheesesteak guy, but the menu at SPC is so diverse it is easy to find something enjoyable. I was a big fan of the sausage and peppers grinder until it was finally axed from the menu. Now my go-to is the absolutely yummy buffalo chicken cheesesteak. It is tasty, and the buffalo sauce and blue cheese mix together to make a wonderful tart flavor.

Parking is hard to find, and the staff is unbelievably rude and unfriendly. If you want to retain customers, I suggest treating them decently. They will not be getting any more of my business.

As far as Philly’s go, this place ain’t bad. Matthew S is a big lover of the Philly, and we had picked up a to go order once before, and decided to come in for lunch. It was a Saturday around 1pm, there was only one other customer there. When we picked up dinner here before we just got the standard sandwich, this time around we took some time to peruse the menu. The green chili Philly looked pretty good, and we each went with that. I got mine as a wrap instead of on a roll, and I liked that this was an option. The jalapenos in it were fresh, and not bad on the heat level either. We also ordered the Z-wings, which was with a sweet/spicy sauce, and this was very good, but unfortunately most of the sauce was sitting on the bottom of the paper tray, the wings weren’t coated in it as they should be. A couple of other downsides, the first time I came to pick up an order the clerk at the register was pretty rude, seemed very put out that I was there. When we ate in, we sat at the bar and the bartender was much friendlier, but was absent for quite a bit at the beginning, leaving us beer-less for a while. We stated that we wanted our wings first, but everything came out together. I also would have preferred to have my beer in a glass vs. a plastic cup, I think that’s a poor way to serve alcohol. The meal was good overall as far as the taste and quality was concerned.

Combo cheese steak was great. Lot of meat, great flavor. Fries were good too. I was looking for Cholula to top off but non existent. They did have several wing sauces in the squeeze bottle. I had mine with iced tea but next time will be with some cold blue moon draft. great all day happy hour drink specials. I had small draft(is that about 10 oz) for $ 1.50. perfect to quench the thirst for some brewski. looks like you can get wings too. If you are lucky, will find parking at the meter. If not, plan on walking couple of blocks. After the meal, you can stop by for some desserts at the fro yo place next door. now i know how to spell Cholula. thanks Unilocal

This is a counter service restaurant. Its weird that we used a coupon and they charged us 18% gratuity. I hate when counter service places do that. But — its all fair, so they do. The cheese steaks were good, hoagies were mostly good, fries were wacked. Maybe limp? I dont know what thats about. Get the chips and save the money. I think one large works is enough for 2 adults. But the fried mushrooms were really good, and they had tasty cakes. My husband liked the Cheese steaks, they really are good, and hes from PA, so he is a pretty good judge.
