Smashburger

Came in for a quick-​ish lunch with a coworker while waiting for car repair nearby.
Smashburger is usually good across the board. I like their food.
This location was the typical locale, with a nice staff, clean-​ish dining area, and generally well put-​together.
The fries were really greasy this time though. Like glistening and slick with grease. I was a bit surprised, as that is the norm for many burger places, but I haven’t really seen that at Smashburger. Weird.
The trash receptacle area really needed some attention: there were cups and glasses and trays stacked everywhere on it. Probably just tail-​end of lunch rush though.
Average across the board, bit disappointed in my fries though, I was looking forward to them.

Good quality burger. Lots of options to build your or choose from their menu. Clean place and friendly staff.

Even though they were having problems with the grill causing them to open late but when they did open they offered a discount and made our food in a timely matter with great customer service. Highly recommend this restraunt if your look for a good smash burger ;).

Great burgers! Smash fries were amazing. Never had anything like it. Salted Caramel Butterfinger milkshake is out of this world

Vanilla malt was to die for. Grilled cheese sandwich was 2 pieces of unmelted Velveeta type cheese stuff. The sweet potato fries were yummy. Customer service over the top «Nice», even when my friend’s order wasn’t right. Good attitude. OK food. Nothing to write home about.

My step-​daughters love going to Smashburger! Honestly, I think it’s the shakes. They are some of the best shakes I’ve ever tasted. The chocolate Oreo shake and Butterfinger shake are both popular orders for the two of them.
The girls also like their classic smashburgers, and the people working there never blink an eye or make the kids feel weird when they ask for their burgers plain with only cheese on it. We also just had an incident tonight where one of our drinks ended up all over the floor (yikes!), and the person I told was very gracious, cleaned it up promptly, nicely waved away our apologies, and didn’t make the kids awful about what was an accident. So, I would rate this place as extremely kid friendly!
I’m a fan of their sweet potato smashfries, and both their regular smashfries and sweet potato smashfries are seasoned with olive oil, rosemary, and garlic. They also have versions of both regular and sweet potato fries that are seasoned only with salt.
I don’t eat beef, but Smashburger has an avocado ranch black bean burger that I get regularly. It appears to be made in house, so that’s nice (and better than the Gardenburger some places use for their veggie burger). It’s not a great black bean burger, but I do really appreciate the vegetarian option.

Never had a bad product here until today. Thoughtless chicken Cobb arrived. Never mind that. When I approached a «server» and showed her the mess and I asked for a Chicken sandwich in exchange, she asked with no hesitation and an apology which one I wanted. My replacement sandy arrived promptly, perfectly made, and with no drama. Someone at Smash did a great job of defining great customer experiences with that gem of a girl that made the bad taste in my mouth disappear.

The last reviewer was right — the staff there are not trained well and slack.
The computers were broken and couldn’t see what the girl ended up entering for my order which ended up with one thing wrong.
Girl brought me half my order as if it was the whole thing, and went back to talking to her friends. I had to get up and interrupt her conversation to ask about my shakes.
By the time I got my shakes the burgers got cold, etc. just wanted to leave at this point. Food was ok after all that but putting 1 star in hopes the franchisee or company sees this.

Definitely a solid option for a quick burger fix. I had the Truffle Mushroom Swiss Burger (Truffle mayo, Cremini shrooms, Swiss on an egg bun) and sweet potato fries; both were pretty darn tasty, especially for a fast-​casual joint.
Smashburger is definitely worth the $ 2 – 3 difference over any fast food chain; they win in flavor and quality, hands down.

I’ve been going to this location for several years, and I’ve witnessed a big decline in quality over the past year. Not sure if it was the expansion, a change in management, or what… but this place went from my favorite fast burger on this side of town, to a place I will no longer go to.
Last week we ordered to go, and I ordered the «big» BBQ Bacon Cheddar burger, and my wife ordered the regular size BBQ bacon cheddar burger, and my friend got the Classic. The BBQ bacon cheddar burgers were very dry .They had barely a tsp of bbq sauce on the entire burger, and my «big» burger had ¹⁄₃ the toppings that the regular size had. The Classic had so much sauce on it, the burger was soggy because the sauce oozed out and smothered the entire bun, and had to be eaten with a fork since it was so sloppy. The fried pickles were soggy, and nothing tastes worse than soggy fried pickles
Any decent restaurant knows that consistency is key when serving food to customers. This place fails at that. They also fail at crafting a burger.
If you like Smashburger, avoid this location. If you’ve never had Smashburger, don’t judge it by this particular location.

You cannot beat the classic Smash. The hubby and I keep trying, ordering other unique burgers and chicken sandwiches like the Colorado (green chilies & pepper jack cheese, mmmmm). But we keep coming back to the classic because it’s so good! I don’t know what’s in the Smash sauce but I think it’s addicting. And we’ve just never had a bad burger here.
Try the sweet potato fries– they taste like real sweet potatoes. The rosemary fries are awesome too– skinny but not crunchy. The shakes are great when their freezer is working.

I don’t not frequent chain restaurants and definitely not fast food joints, so imagine my surprise when an acquaintance got us take out from Smashburger one day and I really liked it. Imagine my even greater surprise when I drove past one several weeks later and started craving one of their shakes. Smashburger is making quality burgers and great shakes. Probably the best I’ve had from what I consider «fast food.» For this category of pop-​in restaurant I give it 4 stars!

We had a small BBQ bacon cheddar burger, large Smashfries, chocolate milkshake and a Nutter Butter Milkshake. The chocolate milkshake was the best milkshake I’ve had. It was very creamy and you can tell hand made. It was served also with the stainless steel cup, with the extra, just like the good old days.
The burger was good. The fries were good, but I would have liked more garlic on them. Also Parmesan would have been good on them.
We had a great experience and really enjoyed the food.

Staying at the hotel across the street and wanted something quick and close. I got their spinach salad add chicken and buffalo fries. Fries are very salty with the buffalo spice but with ranch is great, could use more time frying. Salad is decent size, full chicken breast. Overall 3.5 stars. Clean place with good customer service.

The service here is exceptional! The staff is extraordinarily friendly and accommodating. The food is also good, and they even offer gluten free buns. Love these kinds of experiences!

I’m usually a fan of Smashburger and this location is no exception.
We rolled in kinda late so the line was small. Makia took our order and was a delight. My girlfriend likes to complicate orders to make her meal juuuuust right. Makia got it all down exactly and hooked up the best deal to maximize our eating pleasure.
Not much else to say. Burgers were awesome and fries didn’t last long in the case… We’ll be back next time we get a juicy burger craving for sure!!!

Still a fan of SMASHBURGERS since for now, they expanded this location (Quebec St & E 35^th Ave)! They have more options err for Hubs and I! *DOUBLE SCORE*
This recent visit was on Friday August 8^th 2014. Having cooking a storm for the week and NOT feeling like cooking for ourselves, Hubs suggested to go here for Dinner. To SMASHBURER Northfield Stapleton we went. Time was about 20:30hrs. YES, it was indeed a very LATE Dinner for us.
Anyhow, when we arrived, there are a few patrons dining in. YES, you order at the counter. The Staffs will give you a NUMBER Token and then the staffs will send your order to where you are seated. We opt to have the following items for our Dinner :

My order of Truffle Mushroom Swiss Smashburger comes with Truffle Mayo, Sautéed Baby Crimini Mushrooms and Aged Swiss Cheese on An Egg Bun. Hubs order of COLORADO BIG Smash, comes with Tomato, Lettuce, Mayo, Pepper Jack Cheese, Green Chilies, Melted Cheddar Cheese, Smashburger on a Spicy Chipotle Bun. Man just by writing this review, bring me fond memories of SMASHBURGER with Drool In A GOOD Way!
Our Dinner was $ 27.26. We left feeling satisfied with the GREASY-​GOODNESS of why we fall in love with SMASHBURGERS ever since 2009! Hubs like his order of Nutter Butter Shake. I like my order of Truffle Mushroom Swiss Smashburger.

The Stapleton location is currently under renovation (but still open). Be aware that you will probably step in a pile of sawdust and the walls may have just been painted.
Aside from that, the service was surprisingly fast for the lunch rush. We went with a group of 6 and had our lunches within 10 – 15 minutes of ordering. I want to be a fan of Smashburger, but I never can bring myself to love their burgers. I like the «crust» that they have on the outside, but other than that the flavor leaves much to be desired.

This little gem is on the corner of suburbia, facing into north field.
This is a lovely example of the smash burger brand. I love being able to get the mini sized burger. The staff does look at you strange if you skip the combo and just get a burger, but that’s ok.
Be aware, being in suburbia there will be lots of kiddos, and they don’t all behave well, they make messes and are loud.
