I have never had a bad meal nor has the wait staff ever been sub par. Their mixed drinks are delicious.

A friend of mine brought me to happy hour here a couple of months ago. I am so glad he suggested it! The happy hour at Silvi’s is pretty good… nice discounts on beverages, and a limited menu that has great prices on pizzas, sliders, etc. I’m a vegetarian, and it is nice that they have vegetarian items on the hh menu. I have since come back with friends for lunch and happy hour a few times. The lunch menu is fantastic, offering lots of choices at very reasonable prices. The best thing about the menu is there is something for everyone. The food is really fresh, and they offer a lot of healthy choices along with their pizzas and sides of fries! This has become one of my favorite places!

I heart Silvi’s. It’s the perfect place to go since I am vegan and most of my friends are not. I had been to the location on Colorado before and the one also in Old Town Arvada and loved them both! Last night was the first time I tried this location. I went for the Israeli«Safta» Supper Club and it was delicious! My friend and I both went with the vegan dinner and we were not disappointed! The waiter was really friendly(always a plus) …and EVERYTHING was soo tasty. We were literally scraping our plates clean. I was very happy to find out that they do something similar once a month and always offer a vegan option. It is something that I will definitely be looking forward to. I’ll be back… :)

Really nice patio inside and it was cute inside. I had the eggs Benedict which was amazing! But a friend ordered the omelette which was horrible. Had more onions then egg. The service was also not that great. Never came and checked on us after we for our food. Also asked the manager to take the omlette off the check because the server didn’t and he never apologized, never came back to the table and didn’t really seem that enthusiastic about being at work. Not a great first visit.

Judging by the other reviews, I guess I’m the exception. Went for dinner based on recommendation and was promptly seated. Sat at the table for about 10 minutes before the bartender came over and asked if we had been greeted. A few minutes later our server comes and gives a lame«Hello. Would you like to order food?» … Oh no, I just came here to stare at your menu and admire your décor. Food arrives. It’s mediocre at best. Sweet potato fries were ok but the falafel burger was lacking flavor and the bun was cold. Not going back.

The first thing we noticed when we arrived was how they were giving out free samples of mushroom pizza and their beet salad which were simply prepping our taste buds for what was to come. As we walked inside, we asked if we could get our food to-go, and we could. The restaurant itself was nice, simple and vibrant, and there were many people there. The woman who took our orders was extremely friendly and efficient, and offered me a free drink while I waited at the bar for our food. I ordered the Pasta Bolognese, and I am extremely impressed. It was to die for, I am craving it while I writing this. They make their pasta in house and cut them into long noodles themselves. The noodles are like longer lasagna noodles, but the same width. I was in love. And the sauce was not«saucy» but mainly meaty and light, which was great. We also ordered the pesto chicken sandwich, and the chicken itself was juicy, and was a chicken breast. Insanely good. Give the Colfax area a chance. Silvi’s Kitchen is right by the Tattered Cover book store, and there are other cool shops and places nearby. Silvi’s isn’t too fancy, and verges on casual with extraordinary cuisine that isn’t too expensive($ 9 – 16 or so). I was a skeptic of the thought of a place like this at first, but I would go back in a heartbeat.

I am so bummed to be writing this review. I don’t do this much but I think the past two experiences warrant one. The food at this place is awesome. I’ve been here probably six times and always had a fantastic meal. The past two times I’ve been to udis/silvis the service has been pretty awful. The servers have been friendly and nice. The time to get greeted, get a menu, water, cocktail, appetizer and meal was ridiculous. It was a Sunday evening around 5:30 and there were three or four tables. There wasn’t an apology or explanation. I decided that it could have been a fluke and a couple friends and I went tonight. It was about 8:45 and we had a pup with us so as we were walking up I talked to a waitress who was outside and asked«can we sit out here with the dog on the outside?» She said absolutely and we settled in. About 10 minutes later we hadn’t been given menus or water so i went inside to see what was going on. The bartender and hostess said they were closing so I explained we had talked to a waitress but had still been waiting and they said they would get someone out there. I went to the bathroom and when I got back there had still been no waitresses in sight. We decided to leave as it was obvious we were not getting served. I worked in the industry for eight years and no it’s not fun to take the table that walks in 15 minutes before close and tell the kitchen they’re not done yet, but if you close at 9 then patrons can be expected to order up until that time. I’m not going to keep trying here. There are too many restaurants with great food and good service to keep striking out here. But my loss because the food is great!

Very good gluten free options and so many great options for those of us who eat everything! I have tried their sandwiches and pizza and it was all very good. Service sometimes seemed a bit slow but they always are very busy…

Enjoyed a nice dinner here. We started with the crispy Brussel sprouts appetizer and it was delicious. I ordered a build your own pizza with peperoni and sausage and it was excellent. The crust was tasty and crispy and the meats were plentiful and fresh tasting. My wife ordered the braised veggies with salmon and loved it. My granddaughter had a falafel burger and it too was very good. Service was ok, a few mistakes were made but adequately resolved.

Oh, gosh. I went back to Udi’s again, and really, it’s a darkdark hole. It’s sucking me in from a few blocks away with its tasty vegetarian fare and its delicious beverages. I wanted a nice place to read and write and think in the company of others. It’s usually a coffee shop sort of mentality, but I hadn’t eaten real food in 4 hours. Thus, I wedged myself in at the bar and ordered a falafel burger with power greens. Oh me, oh my, so tasty! The gentlemen next to me were having a conversation with the bar tender about a drink he called«The Creamsicle.» Orange juice and pineapple vodka and ginger ale? Mmmmmm, «me too!» I said. Thus, another surprisingly pleasant evening at Udi’s. I am not sure how many times I have to come before I *expect* it to be this good!

I must confess that prior to stepping foot into this Udi’s, I based everything I know about Udi’s on the catering they do for Denver Public Schools, which is good for deli style catering, but not something I would intentionally seek out on my own. Stopped in on a Friday night around 8. I wanted to go to Tattered Cover to find a book and the other half wanted dinner and a drink. The location makes it such that you can divide and conquer, which is a nice touch. He sat at the bar and ordered and I met him afterward. Don’t judge, but I love a good Malibu and pineapple. What can I say, it reminds me of glory days. Imagine my surprise when the bartender threw a chunk of fresh pineapple in a juicer and combined it with said Malibu. The end result was blissful. I’d highly recommend ordering a beverage with fresh fruit or veggie involved because you will LOVE it. I also ordered hummus and Udi’s famous bread. Out of this world on both counts. The atmosphere was also nice. Sleek and modern but not overly trendy or uncomfortable. Most likely would have gone 5 stars, but hubs wasn’t impressed by his old fashioned/the whiskey in it.

It is well located next to the Tattered Cover Bookstore. The place caught my attention and I decided to have lunch there with a friend. I opted for a pizza while my friend had a Reuben sandwich. While the service was excellent, the food was not memorable. Seems like a good place for a lunch or business meeting but there is room for improvement when it comes to the food.

A sit-down-have-a-waiter-serve-you Udi’s?! Oh, man. Awesome. I’m a big fan of the fast service of Udi’s in Stapleton, but I love how this location has switched up the style and made the place more of a restaurant. I also love how each Udi’s has their own menu that caters to a different taste. I had lunch here recently and order the Brussels sprouts(with curry, lemon, and pecorino), hummus and falafel from the small bites menu($ 4 each), and a Watermelon Buzz(juiced carrot, celery, watermelon, and apples) to drink and thought all of it was great. Even better it was a work day and they were able to get us in and out in just over an hour. This Udi’s is a good choice for all types of folks, business lunch goers, parents with kids, leisurely lunchers, etc. And since they are a restaurant they have some fun nighttime specials, too. I definitely recommend checking it out if you haven’t yet!

Udi’s on Colfax has a large patio with tons of tables. It is shadowed by the building though so if you’e looking for afternoon sun, this isn’t the spot. They have large twinkle lights overhead on the patio, which makes for an intimate feel at night. I went at 2p on a Sunday and the menu had brunch and lunch options as well as a long list of drinks. The breakfast options sounded great but so did the chicken basil club sandwich I ordered. It had chicken breasts, red peppers, bacon, and swiss cheese. It was alright but didn’t have much flavor. I ordered sweet potato fries as my side. They tasted a bit like maple syrup. My date had the french dip which was good and got a side of their fries. The fries were crispy and salty and pretty good. Two sandwiches, a coke, and sweet potato fries were about $ 22 before tip. The menu had a lot of gluten free and vegan options including pizza with gluten free crust.

The food was pretty good. I had the Classic beef burger(half-pound served on Brioche bun with lettuce, tomato, red onion, pickle spear and choice of side). It was rather simple, but it was flavorful, moist, and tasty. For my side I went with the up-charge for Sweet Potato Fries. They were some of the better ones I have had lately. To drink, I took advantage of a special they were doing and enjoyed a bloody mary. It was quite good and rather spicy. On this particular day, the service was just not that great. Having read the reviews of others, this seems to be somewhat unusual. On my visit, it took a very long time to get my drink, a fairly long time to get my food, and way, way to long to get the bill. In fact, I got so tired of waiting for the bill(like 15 minutes), that I added it up myself, put on tax and tip, dropped cash on the table, and left. Nobody seemed to care. I would be willing to try other food items on the menu and I hope the service is better next time.

I really like this place a lot… I didn’t go inside but the patio is perfect for lunch. With that said, I also liked the variety and creativity of the menu. They cater to all types of people so whether you’re a meat eater or vegan you would be able to find something good. I had the peanut chicken salad and I was impressed at how good it was. First of all, the chicken breast chucks were cubes so they were SUPER juicy! It’s usually the biggest complaint with salads as the chicken is usually in strips and dried out. The salad also didn’t have a lot of dressing(soy ginger) on it but just enough to give it flavor. All the greens were fresh as well.

This was a random trip to jwe ust get some eggs at the Sunday farmers market across the street. I hadn’t noticed that Encore had turned into Udi’s. I didn’t know that Udi’s bread had restaurants. My friend instantly thought of grabbing a gluten free brunch. Which lead to browsing Twist and Shout, and watching soccer at the Three Lions. I know that how my day turned out is only partially relevant to Udi’s, but really we are foodies and the experience around your food is part of the food experience. Just sitting what was a formerly high end restaurant eating some a delicious crab omelette with a side of cheesy grits and tasty Udi’s bread and raisan bread planning out how I would optimize the area and my day was all worth it. The outside and inside seating are both enjoyable. It almost should be a secret to a avoid a cluster of people and wait like at Snooze and Luciles. My friend at a breakfast pizza, with eggs and chorizo on a gluten free crust. The menu covered brunch and lunch. Definitely a good place to start an adventure in what is now refered to as «Greek Town?» DT

I actually like the Udi’s Bread Café in Stapleton better than this restaurant. Although, this place has a nice set up — casual and lots of space. You’re not seated on top of other patrons which is nice. We were there for lunch and I had a salad that I thought was just OK. The server was friendly but slow. Prices are average for the area and type of restaurant. It was fine. No real gripes just not fantastic.

Rarely has a restaurant made me want to go out and buy a Jack Lalanne Juicer… the juice at Udi’s is awesome! I think between the 4 of us we tried each type, though the Grapefruit Goddess was my favorite. The alcohol drink menu is good too, with choice like a carrot ginger martini and cucumber gin. For dinner we had mussels and pizza, plus the lamb shank. The butternut squash pizza continues to be a favorite of mine(with a glass of red wine it’s even better). I’m so happy that Udis added a downtown location. I’ve long been a fan of the Arvada location but don’t get over there much. Plus, being next to the Tattered Cover is nice too. Eat, Drink, Read.
