This gallery is a converted home and has a wonderful selection of blown glass ornaments and stained glass. They also feature some excellent watercolor and portrait pieces. Nancy was extremely helpful and went the extra mile preparing my purchases. I would recommend this gallery to anyone looking for a unique and one of a kind piece at a very reasonable price. It really was a one of a kind experience. Make sure you call ahead and set an appointment so Nancy will be there to show you around.

The Sand Dollar Gallery recently hosted a Unilocal event, and while I was there I couldn’t help but to browse (and shop!) a bit after the event was over. The gallery is filled with an eclectic collection of beautiful things, ranging from jewelry, pottery, blown glass, quilted pieces, paintings, plants … and I’m sure a few more things that I may have missed. I love places like this that reflect the varied interests of the gallery owner while also showcasing the artists.
As it was, as one who has tried my hand at throwing pots, I couldn’t help but to walk away with the most beautiful tea cup, made of porcelain but with some substance, non-​traditionally shaped but beautifully finished and not simply cut off of the wheel, beautifully glazed with a koi motif … I don’t know if I will ever actually drink tea out of it or just display it as a pretty object to look at. My friend who loves quilts had to get one of the quilted bookmarks to show her quilting friends, too.
A friendly and gracious owner makes this a worthwhile stop if you happen to be in the area, and are in need of a unique gift or simply in the mood to look at pretty things.

An amazing treasure of a gallery. Nancy, the gallery owner is one of the sweetest, nicest people you will ever meet. She is absolutely sincere and so passionate about her gallery, her father’s art, her own pieces and the other artists that her gallery represents. There is a mixture of different items, from fine watercolors, acrylics, pastels and oil paintings, glass pieces, sculptures, pottery, art cards, jewelry and even soap. On my last visit here, I purchased a number of art cards, at $ 4 – 6, they are an absolute must on the gifting list. Lots of quality items and jewelry also to choose from.
A wide range of prices, a ton of quality offerings– lots of things to look at and choose from. This is an absolute treasure trove of gift ideas. A ‘must visit’ for south pearl street… A bit tucked away and a bit off the beaten path, but it’s a treasure! Be sure to stop by next time you’re in the area.

This place exudes a warm feeling. You can’t help but be enchanted by everything about this quaint gallery and art studio. Nancy Condit, the owner and artist, is the most endearing person in that you can really see her passion for the arts and her gallery shine through. Make sure to ask for the tour as she will show every nook and cranie of this warm and inviting place.
The little blue house in Platte Park houses most of Nancy’s late father’s watercolor paintings that are truly breathtaking. Varying in scale and size, the paintings showcase all different motifs from nautical to dessert and tropical landscapes. Nancy, herself, focuses on ceramics, pottery, and beautiful watercolor pieces that reference more of an abstract theme.
Actually in an a tiny and adorable house, the gallery also features Colorado painters and jewelry makers. You know you’d be getting one of a kind necklace or ring here. The prices are reasonable too, which is always a perk when shopping for art. Definitely not ridiculously high fine/​contemporary art prices, but also not craft art prices either. The quality of each art work is solid and the prices reflect that.

I purchased beautiful hand blown glass tumblers and I smile ever time I take a sip =)
