This place is fantastic!!! The rolls are exceptional, and the delivery is spot on. All rolls are ½ off all the time. Can’t say enough good about Red Ginger!!! Thank you guys — keep it up!!!

Only reason this had three stars was because it wasn’t necessarily a bad experience just nothing to brag about. Food was mediocre at best. My wife hardly noticed the food because of the loud talking from the kitchen staff that echoed through the restaurant. To top it off the floor had a greasy film as the first thing you notice when walking in. On the up side the candy was good to finish off the mediocre meal.

Yes, the price is decent, but what’s up with all the sushi rolls using mashed fish instead of real pieces?!? Terrible consistency and doesn’t taste fresh at all — as if they are using random scraps. Don’t bother.

The«manager» or the person I spoke with on the phone who said she was a manager is very rude and has an attitude. Not good customer service at all.

No Sushi Den but it’s decent sushi for a cheap price. Each roll is «half off» and you get a free miso soup or salad if you buy two rolls! Not a bad deal. The fish is not the best quality but it doesn’t taste bad. You get what you pay for. The apps and other entrees are not half off like the sushi but are still affordable. Service is also pretty good here, when we went the restaurant was about 70% full and my water glass never went empty. Overall a cheap date or outing with friends, just don’t expect Sushi Den or Sushi Sasa quality!

Used to love it… but they’ve sent me the entirely wrong order twice in a row now, with no sort of compensation when it’s been politely brought to their attention.

So, here’s the low-down on Red Ginger… If you are looking for the next Sushi Den, move along… if you’d like to keep your sushi tab under a hundy, you might be interested in this place. Their sushi is not bad by any means(be careful to not overlpad yourself on sushis that contained cream cheese… a lot of their sushis do, and cream cheese comas are the worst!). But, they are also not particularly high quality, so you might not want to venture out too much. However, in comparing their price to their quality, you cant beat the value! Tips: 1. They do half off their sushi all day erryday. 2. Buy two sushi rolls, get a soup or salad free. 3. King Roll is bomb! 4. They have 3 Jumbo roll options, all good but the first one on the list is my fave. 5. They give out little Guava flavored candies with the check… sooo good(it’s a very interesting flavor)!

Best sushi I have found in Denver hands down! Hot Baby and Bagel rolls were such a fun twist on warming up rolls and the sunflower roll was so refreshing! Will certainly be coming back :) Great prices and friendly staff!

I found this little gem by accident. and I wasn’t disappointed! Is it the best sushi? No, but its not to shabby. I was homebound for months and always appreciated their fast delivery and the sweet delivery guy I. seeing my crutches and cast apologized every time that he was not allowed to bring food to my apartment door. All rolls are ½ off all the time. You can get 4 full rolls delivered for $ 20! Can’t beat that! Definitely worth the try if you want good, fast, nicely priced sushi.

Super affordable sushi and the like in the south broadway hood. Nothing fancy, no led lighted rolls here, but the feature what might be the best daily roll prices in town. Again, this isn’t your night out high heels and short skirt sushi bar, but it’s a great spot for good casual dinner on a budget.

While the food was decent, Red Ginger made up for in fast service and very reasonable prices. It appears that they are running a special(unknown for how long) — but you all rolls are 50% off.(I work corporate for a retailer so we will see how long this actually goes on and/or if it is legit). Regardless — the selection is huge, appetizers are very inexpensive and most importantly… they keep my soda refilled. Keep it up Red Ginger!

I would call this my «go-to» sushi place. The servers and sushi chefs are always pleasant. They have a large selection of simple as well as creative rolls. I am not a huge fan of sashimi so I can only comment on the rolls. When you order 2 rolls it comes with a salad or a bowl of miso soup. I really appreciate that they serve low sodium soy sauce and I don’t have to ask for it or forget and wake up the next day with swollen ankles. The prices are fantastic. The large sign on the window states 50% off all the time. Not sure why they don’t just lower the prices. Bottom line good sushi great price.

We ordered red ginger to a bar on Colfax. It came in good time, but as we were eating the food we found something very interesting in our soy sauce. I am still very grossed out by it! Yes, it was either a cricket or moth. We both spit our food out right away. I called to talk to the manager and she said they would credit my next order I said, no I won’t eat from there again. I mean would you? She said when the owner would be in later they would refund me. Well, it is three days later and they haven’t so I called again today. A girl told me she wasn’t a manager and that I could call back, but they never do refunds. Hmm!!! I need some better customer service than that.

Half off… All the time. No I’m not talking about kohls I’m talking about red ginger sushi! I have eaten here probably 20 times but we ordered delivery on Friday most recently. You will NOT find cheaper sushi for the quality in the metro area. The variety is actually overwhelming but that just means everyone can find something they will like. I recommend the Sweetheart Roll– probably my favorite thing I’ve gotten here. See my pic, I love siracha on sushi! Delivery Friday night(7 rolls a soup and salad) with bad weather was only 45 minutes, which was great, and if you dine in you get free soup and salad. I wish they would cut the crap with the«half off!!!» they have advertised since they opened, and they should label the rolls for delivery(we had to google what we got to determine which is which). If you can move past that, you can enjoy the cheapest decent sushi in the metro area. Cheers!

Red Ginger has some great rolls and some OK rolls. What makes me a fan is their prices, two rolls = free soup deal, green tea, and red ginger. Yep, their ginger is actually red. LOL I like it. It’s not too strong, perfect. Their rolls aren’t overstuffed with rice. My favorite roll is the Red Ginger. It truly is DELICIOUS and very tasty. Good service too! Ambiance is OK. Not bad tho. Four stars from me!

My review isn’t saying anything drastically different than anyone else’s. Decent sushi, not gross, doesn’t make you sick, tastes pretty good, but definitely didn’t hit the spot for me, either. I usually am so satisfied after eating sushi, it’s the best feeling but this was so mediocre it didn’t give me that. For the price, though? I mean, come on. We got 4 rolls, 3 orders of sashimi, and an order of miso soup for like $ 30 before tip. I mean if you’re trying to eat sushi on a budget this is definitely the way to go. Delivery arrived exactly 1 hour after I ordered it, which is a huge plus in my book. Something that really annoyed me, though is that despite all that food they only put one pair of chopsticks in there. There were two of us so that meant I got to use my hands! That put me in a really bad mood. Overall, great value. However, I would rather spend the few extra bucks and be really content afterwards knowing I just ate some darn good sushi.

I wrote my last review almost two years ago. I have since moved to Cap Hill and have been ordering delivery from them for over a year. Red Ginger is the home of 50% off all rolls. If you’re happy, like I can be, with basic rolls(tuna or salmon and avocado, Philadelphia rolls, etc) you’ll love this place. This is kind of the McDonald’s of sushi. But, hold up. This isn’t fishy sushi that’ll make you sick, it’s just sushi food you wouldn’t pay full price for. It’s a nice alternative to crazy expensive places when you’ve got the hankering for some sushi.

Food quality here fluctuates pretty widely so it’s a good thing the sushi is always 50% off and that they deliver(How can I resist being delivered sushi while in pajamas at home? I absolutely cannot.). It’s mostly the prep or the off-sushi menu items that are in flux. The udon is too sweet. Their negimaki can be delicate and rich or saccharine and tough. The fish is nearly always surprisingly fresh(I’m thinking they have a quick turn around). That said, the sushi rice sucks and the rolling is amateur(I just love dipping a piece delicately and only slightly into the soy sauce and then watching with horror as ¾ of the contents spill into the dark pool, becoming unsalvageable — nooooooo). For the freshest fish, avoid the spicy options(they use the scraps and chop it up with mayo and spice). The nigiri is actually pretty damn on point(often ‘melt in your mouth’). Good service. Good mix of clientele. Good sushi. Can’t complain for ‘budget’(at least when dealing with sushi) dining. ($ 2 delivery charge.)
