Top notch, first class sandwiches at a fraction of the price. Stopped in for coffee and a breakfast sandwich and was pleasantly surprised at how fresh the ingredients were. A nice alternative to star*ucks next door and you get more bang for your buck here.

This was my third time dining at Potbelly Sandwich Shop. They have always had great sandwiches and I have enjoyed each experience here. Today I purchased a chicken salad sandwich and walked it back to my office. Upon sitting down at my desk, opening my sandwich and about to take my first bite, I noticed a long black hair in the sandwich. I wasn’t overjoyed by this, but it happens. So I packed everything back up, and walked the 4 ½ blocks back to Potbelly to get a new sandwich. The manager came up and apologized for the hair, and made me a new sandwich. She also gave me two free cookies for the inconvenience. Though I appreciate her concern and the nice gesture with the cookies; I work in customer service myself and I feel like from a customer service standpoint they maybe could have done a little more. One example would be possibly refunding my money and giving me a replacement sandwich to ensure I would keep coming back. Or a punch card for next time… Just some ideas. Hair in food happens in the restaurant business. I get it and it’s not a huge deal. But it’s really all in how it’s handled. Are two free cookies enough to keep me as a customer? I’m not so sure. Since I’ve always had a good experience in the past, I wanted to be fair and give them a 3 star review. Though I feel this service issue could have been handled a little better, they still have great sandwiches.

GREAT place to grab a bite 1st time!!! Walked from upstairs circus, wished you guys delivered on weekends :) but Tyler, Michelle, & Kiara were amazing! They wouldn’t accept a $ 5 tip on out 4 sandwiches, smoothies malts and chips order but wanted a review :) Thank you for the life changing Oreo smoothie :) will be back!!!

The way they process you isn’t made for having a salad, they only care about sandwiches! I watched 2 people get served and never received any acknowledgement! Bad service.

Good addition to the long line of restaurants opening near Union Station. Like seeing different sandwich shops(even if they are chains) rather than several Subways and Jimmy Johns just blocks apart. Plus the area needs less fancy smancy famous chef restaurants and some more budget friendly restaurants for a quick lunch on a weekend afternoon. They have a nice selection of classic sandwiches and the milkshakes looked good but I was good and stayed away. They also have your usual selection of baked cookies and bars if you need something sweet with your meal. Love their«Skinny» options as it is the same ingredients just less of them, no nasty fat-free, low sodium bland ingredients to lower the calorie yield. Customer service was great and the store is spacious and plenty of seating. Wasn’t that packed but it is hard to reach the store with the ongoing construction nearby. Will definitely return another time I happen to be in the area.

Nice place to grab a quick lunch sandwich, they have good choices that are comparable in price to larger chains but better in quality. The service was pretty good as well. We came here a little before the lunch rush so it wasn’t that busy when we went. Only unfortunate thing is, in the fountain drinks they only have heavy soda, no simple sodas like sprite or 7-Up, so I had to drink coke for the first time in several years. They do have some larger bottles in a fridge next to the order line though but we had already paid and everything by the time I noticed the drink situation so I wasn’t about to make a fuss. The store was really clean and has a great location, we would probably stop by again if we were in the area.

I work in the same building as this Potbelly’s. Potbelly’s in general is a great little chain sandwich store, but this one is still definitely going through the growing pains of being a new store. They seem to especially struggle when it comes to being prepared for breakfast, as I have multiple times been told that they are out of a major breakfast item(one time the oatmeal, one time eggs for their breakfast sandwiches). Having ingredients on hand is essential to this kind of fast-casual model, so it’s troubling that they can’t even get that right. The couple times I was there for lunch it ran pretty smoothly(and they had all the ingredients!). And the time they ran out of oatmeal, the manager told me to come back in 15 minutes and then comped me a cup of freshly-made oatmeal. So there are signs of hope. But they’re definitely still workin on it.

I placed an online order and it still took forever to be made. I ordered the pizza sandwich minus the mushrooms. It was completely loaded with mushrooms and didn’t have any meatballs. There were a couple of small chunks of sausage. I don’t know if they were trying to pass that off as meatballs. If that’s the case, just say ground sausage instead of meatballs. Very different.

Really digging these places and I am seeing more and more popping up around Denver which is great. Few things: The Hot Peppers are hotter than most other sandwich shops, but again they are called«Hot Peppers» so this should be expected. This location can get busy during lunch so phone your order in ahead of time and skip the line. The Shakes are great so make sure to add one to your order. Overall it is really hard to differentiate yourself completely from every other sandwich shop but this place does have a great vibe to it.

On a snowy and freezing Monday I found out my office cafeteria was closed for the day — dang it! I had to figure out lunch and I had to figure out a way to get lunch within close proximity to the office or I would inevitably slip and fall on my face. Enter the new location of Potbelly in Lodo, across from Union Station by the new triangle building. Very convenient for the offices in the neighborhood and ultra-convenient for me, a two minute walk from door to door. A coworker said the line was crazy and he waited close to 30 minutes for his order so I opted to order online to help with the wait. I had to wait five minutes but my order was ready and they quickly rung me up and had me on my way in no time. My order, an Italian sandwich with everything was accurate and very tasty for $ 5.00. I’m a lover of hot peppers and boy oh boy these peppers are H O T! I may think twice before adding these to a sandwich if you don’t love hot peppers. This location offers delivery, take out, and in store dining. I enjoyed the flavorful sandwich(better than the above mentioned cafeteria), the quality of ingredients and the price point. I’m excited to have another close lunch option when working and will keep Potbelly in mind for my sandwich craving days. Welcome to the neighborhood Potbelly! *If you were wondering, I made it safely from door to door with no falling. :)
