The food here was pretty good, I had the combo plate that had beef, pork, chicken, shrimp and rice that was mixed with their own in house seasonings. The portions were generous for the price and the waitress was friendly and attentive.

We felt like Phở tonight and decided to try this place out. The reviews looked good for the most part and it was just as far from our house. We were very happy with the food and the broth was amazing. The peanut sauce for the spring rolls was very good also. Will definitely be coming here again.

The broth is so yummy. Love the pork shrimp spring rolls. Good portions. One of my favorite. They gave plenty of noodles. They keep my water full for my whole meal.

Best phở base around. Although the tofu often tastes like refrigerater and I’ve stopped ordering it. The gentlemen servers are nice and efficient, the girl needs to smile more and not forget things. She has forgotten our boba drinks(which are yummy) a few times. Bathrooms are always clean as is tje restaurant which is usually very busy.

This place is one of my favorites for phở on a cold day. The overall cleanliness is becoming a pretty big concern though. I’ve been here more times than I can count and the restrooms are always very dirty. Recently the dining area has started smelling and feeling kind of. muggy. I also was not thrilled to find a piece of tripe in my chicken phở. The food is usually great and the staff is nice and helpful. I just hope they can get their cleanliness in order before I start looking for a new phở joint.

My husband and I recently visited Phở 88, which we used to frequent quite often. I would tell everyone it’s my favorite phở joint and always highly recommend them. It seems to have really gone downhill since we’d last been in, which I’ll admit has been awhile because we’ve been eating at a Phở place closer to our home. The bathroom was pretty dirty, and the dining room was dingy(dirt in the corners on the floor, etc). I was kind of leery about eating after really looking around, but decided to just go with it. I’m not expecting the Brown Palace when I go into a strip mall restaurant, and I’m really not picky, but it was noticeably dirty. The phở is certainly not as good as it used to be either — It’s watery and lacks the flavor it used to. I will say the service was good, but the lack of cleanliness and the change in the soup just turned me off, and we probably won’t be back. What the heck Phở 88?! You’re breaking my heart!

Service is TERRIBLE! I got my food, accidentally dropped my spoon almost immediately and wanted a new one. I wanted some more jalapeños, no one came to check at all. I tried to flag the waiter but he must not have seen??? I asked for a drink which I didn’t receive until I had been waiting for 15 minutes. By that point I packed up my kid and left. Won’t be returning! Phó Saigon on 120th is BETTERBY A LANDSLIDE!

After trying out almost all the Phở places in the North Denver area Phở 88 is easily my fav. The restaurant is clean and the service is good. Reasonable prices. The crab cheese wontons and Vitenamese egg rolls are some of the best in town. Always fried to a perfect golden crisp. The Phở is tasty my favs being meatball and chicken. If I’m not in a Phở mood I get chicken fried rice which is also delish. A great little family owned restaurant that is worth coming to again and again.

Hot, steamy, yummy beef broth, plenty of meat, fresh accompaniments, what more would you want?

Not good. Not bad either, but not good. Mostly bland, tasted like there was no effort put into the broth when I ordered phở. I felt a stab of disappointment after I stopped eating. I’m not even that picky when it comes to phở. I don’t expect it to be anything like how my mother prepares hers, but this just tastes like hot water with raw meat floating in it. Couldn’t eat all of it even though I’m still hungry. All the meat was stuck together in a block, and some of it didn’t even cook all the way through. I haven’t been checked on yet since I’ve received my food. The whole staff are having their family lunch period and they haven’t looked over to notice me in a while. Nice server, but clearly I’ve come at an inconvenient time for them. Eh.

Some years ago, crap it’s been 26 years now, I lived in Thailand and traveled all over Asia. I got really used to Noodle soup for lunch and now Phở has become comfort food to me. Well Phở 88 has become favorite Phở place. The Phở is great and they ALWAYS bring the biggest plate of Basil, bean sprouts and limes. This is one of my pet peeves when a Phở place skimps on the herbs or doesn’t serve basil at all. Phở 88 always gives a heaping mound and what is more is only twice in my whole life have I left a bowl of Phở without seeing the bottom. Both times have been here. The big bowl here is huge. However they still have great prices. This place is always clean and well cared for and the owner and staff are always friendly. I really don’t care if the tables have some dings in them, I am here for the Phở. Now I just need to find an epic bowl of Kiao Tiao Nom — The Thai version of Noodle soup which is even better than PHO!!!

Cheap phở, but will never return back to this establishment. I’d rather pay twice as much if I get much better treatment from the staff. They were rude from the beginning with my wife, stepson and I. I know everyone is entitled to their opinions of same sex couples but when running an establishment I would prefer you treat us like human beings. I am a paying customer and when you are so rude to us and serving us last when we arrived first because of this is just rude. It’s horrible when a 7year old knows exactly why we get this treatment. Never will I recommend anyone here or return.

My favorite place for Phở. Excellent broth and plenty of meat! Whenever I ask for extras like wontons in my phở, they always oblige. Friendly staff and good food will always keep me coming back. Their spring rolls and egg rolls are good as well.

So I went to this Phở for two reasons. Firstly it’s close to my home and secondly I read all your reviews. We were sat quickly but it wasn’t too busy. The table had seen better days and so had the chairs. In fact the whole place is run down. It could use a face lift which is always a little sad for a place that’s supposed to be amazing. I’m not looking for upscale but my table shouldn’t have holes in the top and the chairs shouldn’t have tape on them. The guy came to take our order quickly and I asked him for a combination rice plate with no shrimp and then of course Phở was ordered. My food came in a bowl… with rice noodles which I can’t stand. My food wasn’t that good, it wasn’t awful but it wasn’t anything special. I likely would go again but wouldn’t put that on the top of my must do lists

I have not been able to get enough Phở lately, so when it was my turn to pick our dinner choice last night I was quick to throw out Phở as our selection. I had not been to Phở 88 before, but they are really close to my place and I was in a «give it to me NOW!» mood, so we pulled up to Phở 88. The restaurant is pretty basic-lots of tables and chairs. Not much else. I did notice that it was really busy when we arrived at around 6pm. I took this as a good sign. We were quickly seated and had water brought to us by the sweetest man(I believe he was the chef/owner). He was seriously all smiles and made all the reviews about poor service null. I ordered a large steak and brisket Phở because I knew I would be wanting leftovers(and boy did I have leftovers!) The cost on this beautiful giant was a mere $ 6.95! Seriously?! You can’t beat that with a stick. When my Phở came out, I was greeted with the heavenly aroma of broth that has been cooking all day. This was probably the second best Phở I have had. I am so glad that we found this place as we will definitely become regulars.

My husband and I have been coming here an average of once a week for at least 5 years. I have no idea why we have never Unilocaled this place(I’m currently laid up with a torn MCL so I am taking the liberty of catching up our Unilocal). The owner knows our names and our order by memory. We never even have to tell him, he just puts the order in with the kitchen, and it appears minutes later. Pork rice paper wraps, Chicken Pad Thai(with extra noodles), and small chicken ga(with extra noodles). The food is always on time. It warms my soul. It is also very tasty. This is the only Phở for me. I have forsaken all others. I tried Phở 104 once. Got food poisoning. Never again will I stray from the path of the righteous man.

Been going to this place for at least five years. Tried at least 5 others and keep coming back — it’s their broth — they cook it all day and that’s the secret. It’s comfort food — like chicken soup only way better. Inexpensive, consistent, delicious. I’m a ga phan; significant other likes beef. Staff/family is friendly — in a «recognize us, no chit-chat» kind of way — works for us. Beers when we want ‘em which is about once in a blue moon. I would suggest small bowls for smaller appetites; medium is too much for this lady and men seem to want the large bowls. That bowls… We go once a month — no matter what season.
