So the owner of this location and the only other one in the area decided to close BOTH locations«for renovations» very suddenly. Both my neighbor/friend and I have been to this location and the one at Kipling and Florida recently(within the last 10 days). No notice was given that they would be closing for renovations. Tonight we got together and decided to take advantage of Papa Murphy’s Tuesday pizza deal, so we end up trying BOTH locations and both are closed. Are you kidding me?! These are the only two locations even remotely close by this area and this genius owner closes them both at the same time, and without even posting a sign in either store letting his customers know he’s going to do it?! Yeah, you need business lessons(and yes, I’m in the restaurant biz, so I know a bit about what I speak) and and a better sense of caring about your customers. It’s safe to say I won’t ever be frequenting either of these locations again. Not because the owner has dared to renovate, but because there’s no phone recording, no message on the website, no advance notice, nothing. We wasted time and gas driving to these stores tonight, and I have to say, it’s just irritating. I hope this owner learns a little about customer service in the future.

Staff is really nice but there are really long waits on days they have specials which is kind of understandable the demographics are weird though there’s a lot of people who are rude to the staff. Ekk. the longest I’ve had to be to get a pizza was probably 10 minutes but I understand I went on the crazy $ 10 Tuesday around 5pm. Still got my order and it was exactlly what i asked for and paid for.

First time trying Papa Murphy’s. It’s great. My wife and I went in expecting to grab something cheap to toss in the oven at home, and I was surprised to find that the pricing is on par with what I’d expect to pay from a lower end chain(Domino’s, Pizza Hut, Papa John’s, etc) with cooked pizza. This left me expecting to regret the decision and wish we’d just ordered from one of those places. We got a custom 4 topping pan pizza(Chicken, Feta, Tomato, Green Onion) and an order of cheesy bread. We popped them in the oven and 15 minutes later we were both surprised. With the lower end pizza chains the food is generally very oily and even when the vegetables are sliced fresh daily they manage to not taste it. Papa Murphy’s pizza and cheesy bread both came out crisp with airy crusts and not oily at all. The toppings had that ‘fresh’ taste to the point I’d believe everything had been cut directly before being placed on the pie. It was delicious. We left thinking we’d spent $ 22 we’d regret, and ate feeling we’d gotten a good deal on something closer in quality to the higher end pizza places with much longer waits on a Friday evening.

I laugh when I read these 2 reviews that give this store 4 stars… YIKES! I stood in an empty store for about 5 minutes and had to leave and go back in and slam the door to get a lady to peek around the corner from the back, it was 2 pm or so, not like they were busy. Guy that came out was angry about something and kind of nasty looking, poor hygiene, started unwrapping my dough with his bare dirty hands after coming from somewhere in back, god knows what he was doing back there. I’m afraid to bake this now because this guy has been sticking his bare hands in food tubs I’m fairly sure. Argued with me about what I wanted on my pizza, seriously! Not friendly banter, angry arguing and comments«that’s weird» «never heard of that» «are you sure you want seasoned beef and not chicken». What a jackass, and how does a store owner and also the manager employ someone this horrible and not check on him or something. I had a bad experience here before where a gal wouldn’t let me change the recipe on the menu. At that time I started driving an extra couple miles to the South Kipling store because I didn’t want this owner to get my biz, well the laugh was on me because he owns both stores, lol! So I quit going out for pizza for a while, went back because I was feeling lazy today, boy was I ever reminded how bad this location is! After he argued about what I wanted on and off my pizza, he defiantly put the sauce on his way not the way i asked, then quickly threw mozarella on so I couldn’t ask him to add the other. I made him start over which kind of pissed him off but he deserved it. I hope these bad manager and employees put this location out of biz and someone who actually cares steps in and buys it. It has kind of a captive service area here and needs a change of everything.

This location is really quick and the staff is pretty friendly. The location is pretty scaled back with none of the perks that some of the other locations in the area have. The location is on Sheridan and usually has about 10 guys just hanging out in that spot in the parking lot staring at you the whole time. They are probably pretty harmless, but can be surprising the first few times there.

Take it and Bake it! This is one of the better Papa Murphy’s franchises I’ve been to. It’s clean, has a friendly staff, and the wait time is 3 minutes max. Though, I will say that the only thing that sucks about this store, is the demographics(yes, it sits on Sheridan). But hey, if you order over the phone and pick it up, you won’t even have to be there too long.
