In celebration of Chinese New Year, all Panda Express locations were giving away free large egg rolls they call«Gold Bars». I order a orange chicken bowl and received my Gold Bar as well. The cashier/server didnt speak english well, so it was hard to understand him. Other than that, service was good and quick and the food was hard and bland, pretty much what you would expect chinese fast food to taste like.

Was in the drive thru at 9:48pm on a Sunday night. Waited for two minutes for the person in front of us and when we pulled up, they told us they were closed. I called and the guy stated«we close ten minutes before.» That is absolutely ridiculous. Especially when we drove out of our way to a Panda that is actually open after 9pm on Sunday. Turning down two paying customers? Such terrible customer service. I will make sure not to visit this establishment.

Not impressed at all. Family wanted to try it. So I figure I would give them another try since it has need years. Same frozen crap with gourmet put on it. At way to expensive prices. Not sure how so many people eat this crap. It’s like jerky with some sauce on it. Go to Y & Js on 92nd and sheriden. It’s so much better! And made on the spot.

Gross! I tried this place out for the first time last year because I needed to bring something to my daughters school for a Chinese celebration lunch. I grabbed some fried rice, noodles and some egg rolls. I heard several of the kids saying the rice tasted weird so I gave it a taste and it had a very strange after taste that was very unsettling. The noodles were hard and the egg rolls were mushy. I noticed most had taken a bite and not finished any of the items I brought from Panda Express. The fortune cookies were all gobbled up! I didn’t go back until recently I cracked under a chinese food craving with little time. I ordered beef for myself(since I am a white chicken meat girl and none of the chicken options were white meat with the exception of one fried item) and orange chicken for my daughter. Needless to say, another big let down. Gross is all I can say to describe the food. She couldn’t stomach it after the first bite and my meat was… I will be nice and jus say not good. One a positive note, the service was good and the employee was friendly. I guess this is what it is, chinese fast food. Think I will stick with other places for my chinese food cravings from now on and hold out.

You know, Panda Express is what it is. It’s quick serve chinese food, but done right, and not too greasy. You can get two or three entrée and a side for a combo price, with the side being noodles or rice. Entrée are things like fried orange chicken, broccoli beef, wontons, and the like. Surprisingly, the vegetables are fresh, firm, and flavorful; the meats aren’t quite as high quality, but they are still good. Panda Express is good, FORBEING a fast food place competing against the likes of McDonalds, Subway, and Taco Bell. Not gourmet by any measure, but a better choice than any of the usual fast food suspects.

I asked for a to-go order and felt like they didn’t put enough food in the styrofoam. Thinking about it, I think their styrofoam plates are custom made to hold less and less food. What a rip off… Anyhow, I asked if they had eggplant tofu, my absolute favorite dish at Panda, and they didn’t. ALL of their sides were either beef, chicken or pork. Only 1 was plain vegetables(aside from chow mien and rice). that sucks! Next…

I’ll admit that Panda Express is my guilty pleasure. I don’t eat any other kind of fast food, but once a month or so I get a craving for this version of Chinese food. I’ve been to other Panda Express locations, but this particular location always seems to have the freshest food. So I keep coming back. The employees are always the same, which is rare for a fast food joint. They’re all young and they all seem happy to work there. Everyone is very efficient and I’ve never had an order messed up. I always get the two entrée plate. They’ll do half fried rice and half chow mein, which is nice. Then I top that off with orange chicken and string bean chicken breast. They always ask if I want cream cheese wantons on the side and I almost always say«yes» to that one. It’s not like the rest of the meal is healthy, so I might as well add more fat to it, right? Right. The drive through is definitely an added bonus, and it’s rarely full of cars. I’m always in and out of there quickly and with no issues. I’m ashamed to admit it but I really, really like this place.
