Seriously Pajama? Thanks for blowing 31 minutes of my 30 minute lunch break to make a SALAD. It took 15 min just to tell me you were out of the salad I ordered. If this had been the first occasion that this has happened, I’d cut you a break. But it’s happened every time the last 3 times I’ve patronized you. I’m done. If you want to hold court on Pearl Street, consider growing up and running like a real live adult restaurant.

Tried the Cubano(espresso drink) and some avocado-egg-cheese sandwich, came to ~$ 8 total, which for how much sandwich you got is pretty great. Both were absolutely delicious — Cubano had the perfect amount of sugar(I don’t like very sweet drinks)!

I ordered some box lunches for a meeting. They came 40 minutes early. I ate the tuna sandwich and the bread was soggy because of the tuna salad and sitting too long. The bread tasted super but just too soggy to eat on the bottom side.

Awesome little café for a family shop! Great food and sweet service! Really friendly staff. Want a good place to hang, get work done or grab a nice little breakfast. Come here and grab a morning bite. Coffee isn’t hat bad and the food is great. The pasties are good old home made.

I am delighted that I came here knowing nothing of this place. My sources said that I should expect the unexpected. because chocolate cakes here are great and we went here and tried out their chocolate cake, I was very amazed. Taste better than the pastry on my area, perfect for a Sunday treat.

It’s a good little bakery/café. They make a variety of pastries but if you can’t eat that awesome stuff then have some quiche. Me and my pup do that for a daily ritual. We should probably see if they serve cholesterol meds too now that I think about it. Look… It’s just a neighborhood place that’s great for families and the basics. I’ve seen a few reviews here that are scathing. If there are 200 people in the shop due to a farmers market either lower your expectations and get patient or get in your car and hit a Starbucks. Have a nice day!

Maybe they are better when it’s not busy but I went in to get some chai after the farmers market on Sunday and it took 10minutes to make two chai. There were three employees behind the counter, two doing work(slowly) and one wandering around. When I got the chai it was 80% milk and a hint of chai. Went back to ask for actual chai in my chai and didn’t get an apology. There seems to be no leadership on the floor at a busy time, which is needed with three 16 year olds who were working. Cool atmosphere but needs some efficiency to make it worth stopping by.

Well well well it looks like they did it again! Huh? Who? I came here from out of town. I ordered an Italiano from the clerk who I basically fell in love with off the bat(just got done playing softball). Like, it was one of those situations: would you like a soup w your sandwich? No thanks, but I love you. ANYWHOM, no joke, the sandwich was so good I took bite after bite(after bite) without many breaths in between to the point that the roof of my mouth hurt. Why do they call it a roof? Shouldn’t it be a ceiling? I stole that joke from a comedian and used it as my own!!! Cool place to get a sandwich and a wink from the cook. Also the open style of the restaurant was really inviting and relaxing and reminded me of being on vacation in Colorado. WelP!

First visit. The bread — DELICIOUS. I had a breakfast sandwich with scrambled eggs, cheddar, ham, and avocado. I ate EVERY bite. NOMNOM. I will come back for a sandwich. Great place to get a bite when you’re spending a day at Stella’s doing work. Then I decided I wanted something sweet, since I was at a bakery. Less pastries than I was expecting, a few cookies and biscottis, some biscuits(to be fair it was the afternoon, perhaps they’re better stocked in the morning). I did have the apple pie and it was also DELICIOUSSSSSS.

Only three stars for this visit, and it was just my first. That could change! The atmosphere is great, I love the wide open garage doors and the feeling of community. I was there during the Saturday morning Farmer’s Market, so it was definitely busy. I had the sunrise breakfast sandwich, which was very filling and quite yummy. My aunt ordered the breakfast burrito with pulled pork and kept drooling over how tasty it was! I give them only three stars because of their lack of organization. Our drinks were made well after people in line behind us received theirs, and there was literally no line, just a horde of people crowding the register stating they were first. As we sat at the table near the soda machine, we were constantly bumped and smooshed by people waiting for late orders, etc. While the amount of people in their store is out of their control, I would highly recommend a better seating arrangement and/or line arrangement! Very complicated, unappealing.

I want to love this place because I live in the neighborhood but EVERY time I go in there the counter girls are rude. The baked goods are really great!

This was my first visit to the Pajama Baking Company(pbc), so I wasn’t quite sure what to expect. To prepare myself, I checked out their online menu, which isn’t up to date, and decided on the Meatball Sandwich. When I got there, I wasn’t quite sure where the line began because the customers were either on their laptops lounging or scattered across the floor. Needless to say, I figured it out, because I’m a man. While I waited, I was given my large drinking cup before looking for the fountain station. There were no name brand drinks, but rather generic brand sodas and the lemonade I had been so eager to find. I proceeded to fill my clear plastic cup full of lemonade before topping it with a cap and placing a straw within the desired hole so I could consume the beverage. Now, this was no fresh squeezed lemonade, which left me a little sour, but it wasn’t terrible by any means. There was no pulp and left more of a sweet taste over sour. In fact, there was no real sour taste to this lemonade at all, strictly sweet as if it were created for women and children. I really do hope that someday soon they will begin producing fresh squeezed lemonade so I can further enjoy my visits and to also possibly increase their Unilocal score.

Pajama Baking Co. certainly has the right idea about luring hungry families into their fast casual spot that features sandwiches, salads, and the such to order; however I wasn’t as excited for what I ended up ordering this time. I’m sure I could have ordered something more representative of their menu as my ordered Chef salad that boasted fresh ingredients, like string green beans, left a little more to be desired. Or maybe it wasn’t as robust and fresh as the price justified. I really enjoy a salad that’s already tossed with a strong presence of every ingredient, not a pre-packaged salad. I do believe they put the salad together there, made-to-order, which is why I was hoping it would be a little more exciting in the presentation. The service is always friendly and fast, and the space is really enjoyable for lunch with friends or on the go. They also serve ice cream for those long, hot Summer days. Just next time, I’ll stick with what they’re good at — sandwiches and pastries!

I’d do five stars, but I didnt really give the place a chance. Small coffee and breakfast tacos. I stopped into Pajama because Stella’s was too crowded. I’m really glad it was. This little place is a gem in the neighborhood. The staff is cheerful and helpful. Food is prepared to order, with the exception of baked goods, naturally. My breakfast tacos were hot and tasty. If you’re in the area and need a place to chill, meet a friend, or just want to grab a quick bite, give Pajama a shot. You wont be disappointed.

I love coming here. They have really yummy dishes. Only two complaints, one is that I’m usually cold inside. Even in the summer. The second, is it’s a little too expensive. A small chicken salad for $ 10 just feels like too much money. They’re red bean and sausage soup is awesome, and reasonably priced. I also love their tea selection, my favorite is always the chai. As a tip, if you want to leave a tip, You have tell them before you run the credit card.

I don’t get it. Staff was nice. The espresso beverage was tepid. The«pastry counter» had one type of scone, a cinnamon roll and a bunch of cookies. Not exactly what I would call a good selection.

My wife and I stopped in to Pajama for a quick lunch after visiting friends in Platt Park. We each ordered the Alix Club, a roasted chicken sandwich with bacon, lettuce, tomato, avocado, swiss and chili aioli. The online menu says it is on sourdough but the menu at the restaurant says ciabatta. We were not impressed. First, the sandwich was served cold. Not room temperature, or just cold meat. The entire thing was cold, including the bread. It put both of us off. Second, the ciabatta was way too thick for the sandwich. It requried a «smashing» of the bread in order to eat it. Also, for $ 7.49, the sandwich should at least come with a bag of chips. It seemed to be overpriced for the value. But, we love Pearl Street and maybe we can ask for Pajama to toast the bread and heat the meat next time.

Way coooolllio place. First time here. They make everything on site(even the ice cream), so I tried their raspberry lindzer bar. Wow. Pretty yummy. I had a café caramel which they use caramel sauce to make it… which is always what I look for and rarely find(most places use caramel syrup and a drizzle of sauce). I learned about the coffee they use there… coda coffee. They are a local Denver company which is the only way to go… it is organic too. They won the roasters of the year award. Goodbye Dazbog, hello coda! When I run out of coffee at home, I’ll get a bag of their medium roast Vivace. Can’t wait to come back to buy it. People working at PBC were all very nice and helpful. What a great find! Been here a few times now and the last time we went it all was so dirty. Mm p one was cleaning the tables. Trash on the floor Etc reduced it fr 5 to 4 stars. Will keep an eye out for any changes
