Food is fine but rudest server I’ve ever encountered. The fact that I’m doing a quick lunch by myself does not give you license to kick me when I tell you the coffee is burnt to the kitchen staff. When I’m seated by the front door and I can hear you mocking me, using my exact words, at the opposite end of the restaurant is wholly unacceptable. I was polite and low key during my meal up that point despite the indifferent service up to that point. Thank you for making it easier for me to save the money I might have spent in your establishment because I won’t be back to this location.

We stopped on the way back from skiing after a long travel day. We all had the small filets and they were cooked correctly and served promptly. The salad was good and fresh and service was attentive. The sides were good(not great) and the bloomin onion was a little greasy, but overall it was a solid meal and we really were there for the steaks! I’d definitely go again!

I don’t get a chance that often to spend the kind of money this place charges and when I do, I have an expectation that the service is at least better than some run of the mill restaurant. My drink was screwed up, the waitress forgot the sauce for the steak…

We were seated at a table that had a drink spilled on the bench. I discovered this after I sat in it. The salad was day old lettuce and tomato. I had to send the burger back twice for them to get it right. Very disappointed!

Wow I will probably never visit a outback ahain. The waitresses looked that marketing from looney toons. The steaks had no flavor and the potato was dry and like it was full of fibers. When we got the potato they brought maybe ¼ ounce of butter and sour cream when we asked for more it was about the same amount. The drizzle on the wedge salad is super sweet so be prepared.

NONE of the staff greeted us when we came in to sit down. It was almost a hassle trying to find seats because no one bothered to attend us right away, but can’t say the same about the food. The food was superb, an exceptional dish made by a great chef. The steak was carefully cut, and I ordered a medium rare steak. The sides were greens and mashed potato. The automatic appetizers that they serve us was garlic bread with light, creamy butter and a small glass of red wine. The shape of the steak was great, almost artistic and obviously, well cooked. The feeling of eating this particular dish made me feel well again, and actually made up for the rudeness and nonchalant behavior of the hosts. They do need to be more attentive as they can’t keep the customers waiting! Otherwise, fantastic.

I ordered the bone in ribeye medium. It came out half rare and half medium, at this point you might be thinking why am I not giving a crappy review? Well the hostess came to check in on me, I said it was fine. Then the manager came to check in on me,(they both offered to fix it). Then they still gave me a free slice of cake at the end. The steak was still a 4⁄5 even with it not being fully done, the customer service really made this a 5⁄5. The only complaint was that the beer selection was nonexistent, come on this is Colorado!

This particular Outback steakhouse is named properly — they get the steaks from out back in the parking lot. We paid $ 28 for a piece of medium rare cement. Had to have the manager find the waitress because she never came back, should have left without paying the bill.

I enjoy eating at Outback as the quality is generally consistent from store to store. This particular restaurant is anything but consistent with the service and quality experienced in their other restaurants. After waiting 5 minutes, the waitress finally showed up and actually sat down in the seat across from me. I should have known something was odd.(Might have felt different if she was hot!!!). I ordered a small steak and soup; pretty simple right? Wrong. This was anything but simple. They brought out the steak, which I ordered medium rare and it came out COLD center. I mentioned that since they didn’t bring out the soup BEFORE the entrée, not to bother. When I was halfway through my meal, someone brought be a cup of soup and acted perturbed when I said I no longer wanted to soup, as it is normally served before the entrée. Bill arrived, I paid it and left. Won’t be back. Completely underwhelming and disappointing.

They have awesome food in a causal & relaxing environment. Good for weekday lunch or a nice dinner anytime. The staff at this location are always friendly! Just need a few more vegetarian options even though it’s a steakhouse. Steak eaters have a variety of friends. Their weekday lunch specials are greatly priced & keep us coming back for more.

Three of the four of our group had never eaten at an Outback, but it happened to be right across the street from out hotel and we had already dropped off our rental car, so we thought we’d give it a try, even though it had been at least 15 years since I had eaten at one. My expectations were not particularly high – just a decent meal. We started with the Bloomin’ Onion, which was way too much for the four of us – it’s still among the best fried onions any of us has eaten. One diner had a salad, which he said was good. My wife had an excellent soup(can’t remember what kind). Our entrees included lobster tails, salmon and mixed veggies, and a small steak, and all of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Our server(Megan) overheard us talking about the fact that one of our group was celebrating his birthday, so she brought us a bowl of birthday cake a la mode(and four spoons) without being asked – she was great! All in all, a very pleasant surprise, and a very good meal!

Wow! We are from KC and eat at outback all the time. We were so disappointed in the Denver — airport location! Steak thin and overdone, crab topping smelled a week old, portions small. The only thing that resembled our usual experience was the blooming onion.

Honestly! I was pleasantly suprised by this outback! I sat at the bar and was instantly greeted by a very pleasant lady who informed me that it was happy hour… Got some beers… Also ordered the sirloin steak with a salad. About 3 min after ordering my salad showed up(little heavily dressed but still lightning service). When my steak showed up it was cooked perfectly like I ordered… Medium rare! Also it was quite tasty! Good job outback! This visit caused me to think about my original judgment of your food! Keep it up!

The Bloomin’ Onion is a sponge for grease, but when you’re intoxicated, it’s a fried vegetable of mouthgasm! I rarely have the time to sit down and eat at this establishment, so I order it to-go. I’ve never had any issues with service here. However, there have been days where my order was botched. For example, the time when I ordered a medium well and received a medium(edge) rare(inside). The flavors are always decent, for a cheapo in Green Valley Ranch, like me who refuses to go and overpay at Ted’s Montana Grill. Can’t beat their Wednesday special, choice of entrée with two sides, and a dessert. So, yes, for a non-cooker like me, I will go back. Although, I have to gripe about them slimming down portions, but that’s probably for the best. I don’t want to be a chubby panda.

We were staying overnight in Gateway Park before leaving early in the morning for a flight. Outback was a short walk from the lobby of our hotel. This location is as good as it gets for an Outback, though it seemed smaller than some I’ve been to. I wouldn’t try to get in after 6pm though. We got there at 5:40pm and had a 20 minute wait. At 6pm, the wait was an hour plus. Yikes. I’m not sure if they have call ahead seating, but it’s worth trying so you don’t have to wait so long if you come by after 6. My mom and I got the Outback Special(6 oz) with grilled lobster tail for only $ 4 more. It was amazingly delicious. My steak was cooked perfectly, the lobster was perfectly grilled as well. For $ 15 to have a nice piece of sirloin and a lobster tail(& a loaded baked potato) you can’t go wrong. I saw coupons in The Denver Post too but forgot to bring them along. Outback offers a quality and tasty steak dinner at such a great price. I’m certainly a fan!

OUTBACKSTEAKHOUSE Denver Gateway Location April 12th2013. DINNER17:55hrs ish. Thankfully we arrived before the MADDINNERRUSH. Hubs wanted to have dinner where he can have something he like, so to this Outback Steakhouse we went. We were seated promptly and given the Menu. Our lovely server her name was Megan T, was inviting and welcoming. From the Main Menu we opt for these items : * Burger Bloom($ 9.99) + House Salad($ 2.99) — Hubs Order * Seafood Mixed Grill($ 16.49) — My order that evening. We were given Bread and Butter before our order arrived at our table. Hubs received his order of Salad, standard kind of salad. Hubs opt for Blue Cheese Dressing for his order of Salad. Yes, our order comes out piping hot and all, but I was slightly disappointed with the portions and the pricing. NOT a happy camper indeed. Hubs opt to have his Burger WELLDONE. The Burger is topped with Bloomin’ Onion petals aka Fried Strips of Onions, American Cheese, Lettuce, Tomato and Spicy bloom sauce. My order of Seafood Mixed Grill comes with Wood-fire Grilled Seasoned Mahi, Golden Seared Shrimp and Scallops. The Mahi is smaller than one deck of card. There are ONLY3 Shrimps and 2 Scallops. It was served with fresh seasonal mixed veggies of Broccoli, Snowpeas and Carrots. The dipping sauce was remoulade sauce. My order comes with Seasoned Rice. The portion does not justify with the price. *Sad Face Indeed* I was suprised Hubs order what he ordered that evening. As long Hubs had his share of Hamburgers, he wanted that evening, he is OK with it. Hubs opt for Coffee as usual and at least our server offer 2 refills for that. Just an A-OKAY dinner, nothing stellar, nothing fancy. Though I cannot deny I missed the Outback Steakhouse, I had way back in Singapore. *Sad Face* *SIGH* Outback Steakhouse(Denver — Gateway) 16301 E. 40th Ave. Denver, CO80239 Tel:(303) 576‑6633 @82/2013

Was here for a lunch meeting and it wasn’t bad. I got the steak which I was thrilled to eat as my husband is allergic to red meat so we never have it at home. I think the only weekday they are open on is Fridays and there were only a handful of parties there when we arrived but was much fuller when we left. I got the filet and it was cooked to the perfect medium rare I love and for a buck extra I got the grilled asparagus which was also nicely done. I had not been to an Outback in years and it seemed updated and brighter — the staff was also pleasant. I was stuffed so It just made it hard to go to work for the remainder of the day as it was pretty heavy for a lunch but it is not like I didn’t know that would happen!

Saw an ad for a 3 course steak dinner for 2 for $ 25 at Outback, so had to check it out. Apparently, they do this every Wed night. I guess the idea is that you then get up-sold, or you up-sell yourself. And we did. We decided, for an extra $ 9, to add on a grilled lobster tail, and we washed it all down with a $ 30 bottle of Australian shiraz. So we ended up spending $ 70.19, before tip. Coincidentally, that was the identical amount we had spent the night before at the Washington Park Grill. And while the atmosphere was nicer at WPG, the dinner was a way better deal at Outback; where the meat was properly prepared, the side of «fresh vegetables» actually were, and the Caesar salad – while lacking almost every accoutrement of a Caesar salad except for the greenery(hey, whaddaya expect on a side salad that’s part of your $ 12.50 pp dinner?) – contained crisp and chilled romaine lettuce. Finally, we opted, as part of the deal, to split a dessert. And we chose the Thunder From Down Under(kinda ’cause I just really like faking an Aussie accent and loudly demanding some THUNDAFROMDOWNUNDA(= a mediocre pecan brownie that was slathered in whipped cream, ice cream, and then more cream cream – which ya just know had our internal organs pleading for mercy:). So you ask: Was it a good deal, and would we go back? And my answer is clear: Fair dinkum, mate! You bet we’ll be putting another shrimp on that barbie(but maybe it’ll be a few months down the road). G’day.
