Obstetrix Medical Group

Not a fan… Of any obstetrix office, really. I was referred to one when I lived in AZ whose negligent care was a major contributing factor in my miscarriage of an otherwise healthy baby. I have a blood clotting disorder which I didn’t find out until after that miscarriage when a different OB performed my D&C and ran every test under the sun. He became my doctor and I had a healthy baby girl less than 2 years later. Since moving to Colorado, I went to Obstetrix right away as a Hugh risk pregnancy. They flat out refused me the level of care necessary for healthy pregnancy because the doctor had no experience with my medical condition. So I found another OB who also referred me to Obstetrix and told me it was a different office with different docs, so I should at least try… Again, sat in the waiting room for over an hour to see a doc with little to no experience with my condition (a two part disorder). She is treating one part, however insufficiently… I went back to my OB and demanded to be referred to a hematologist. I still have to go see Obstetrix and my OB regularly, but they are no longer managing the majority of my special care. If I were to have another pregnancy I would find another OB entirely who does NOT refer to Obstetrix.

This really is a good as it gets!
After being married for 14 years and having fertility problems the entire time, we were told without intervention we would not be able to conceive. So we gave up hope on having children only to spontaneously become pregnant. Surprise!
I had a truckload of complications, concerns, and major stress and my regular doctor referred me to Obstetrix. That was literally the best decision that was ever made! From the front desk staff, to the nurses, the ultrasound techs, and of course the Doctors these people are the best of the best. I feel like they are family. Of course, I spent a lot of time here so I got used to being taken care of and treated so well. When you are pregnant and have a lot of worrisome, stressful complications some physicians treat you as if you are a problem, but on my first visit I was told that abnormal was the normal here and I certainly felt normal coming here sometimes twice or three times a week.
I sincerely cannot properly express my gratitude to these folks for keeping me sane, healthy, and happy during my pregnancy, when I had to deliver unexpectedly, and for follow ups after. If you have any complications related to pregnancy please for your sake and for the future of your family go here. I wholeheartedly believe my beautiful healthy baby daughter wouldn’t be here today if it weren’t for the wonderful people here at Obstetrix!
