Excellent coffee and banh canh tom cua. I’ve tried one of the best banh canh tom cua in Saigon and this is almost right up there.

Bad service!!! The foods was disgraceful! And it took couple hours for the food to arrive. But I gave it 2 star because they have good boba drink.

Best Vietnamese restaurant in Denver. We always get the huge rice paper wrap which is awesome. Never actually gotten phở or any of the other noodle bowls but I’m sure they are good

New Saigon is one of the nicer Vietnamese restaurants I’ve been to in Denver. When first moving to Denver, my first search were for the best Vietnamese restaurants in town, followed by the nearest Asian grocery stores. New Saigon is definitely a treat, although the price for certain dishes are a tad on the pricey side but they always deliver in flavor. Portions are generous and when eating family style there is always leftovers. Family style between four people included a salad appetizer, Saigon Dac Biet, and clams totaling $ 102, which included tip. Service is prompt and as expected. One friend ordered the Com Dac Biet but as a to-go, however, we knew that the to-go is given in a smaller portion compared to if one were to order it as dine-in. So we ordered the special as a dine-in, while still picking at our other dishes ordered much earlier. Once done we asked for a to-go box for just the recent dish(which was pretty much untouched). A to-go box was given and just barely fit the plate contents. Overall, I’m always pleased to eat at New Saigon, giving me my fix of home cooked meals I miss back home.

Favorite restaurant to go to! Love the rice wrap platter(build your own spring rolls). Soft shell crab, shrimp and more! Prices are reasonable as well!

Update: same as it ever was. And that’s definitely the way it should be. Several months after an ownership change last year, the original owners decided to take back their restaurant. They did a needed redecoration and the place looks fresh and new. Luckily the gigantic menu is the same, and the food tastes just like it always has. In case you heard anything about their quality declining, I’m here to tell you that what you heard was wrong. This place is as good as ever.

Every time I visit Denver, my cousin has always been more than gracious to take me to New Saigon for a delicious meal. Rice wraps with egg rolls, vermicelli, shrimp, grilled pork are definite must to satisfy your hungry soul. More importantly, the giant clam with ginger fish sauce is super delicious and fresh. I always dream about the giant clam every time I am on the plane heading to Denver. The price tag maybe a tad heftier than the typical Vietnamese café but you will get what you pay for. I would go here again in a heartbeat.

One of the best vietnamese restaurants in the country. I’ve been coming here for almost 20 years and have never had a bad experience. I’ve dined at top rated vietnamese restaurants in New York and California and this beats them all in my opinion. If you’ve never eaten here a great place to start is the noodle bowl section of the menu. You literally can’t go wrong with any of the options. Service can be hit or miss but the food always makes up for it. Most of the servers are happy to provide their suggestions and I’ve never been steered wrong. An absolute must try is the fried vietnamese egg rolls(available pork or vegetarian). Wrap them in the included rice noodles, pickled veggies, and lettuce wraps and dip them in the sauce provided. They are literally one of my favorite things on earth. Vegetarians should try the tofu noodle bowl. The lemongrass tofu in the bowl will rock your world.

love this place — food is always delicious Bummer they don’t take reservations — hate standing in that doorway. Staff is excellent but it’s a zoo in there on weekend evenings.

Best Vietnamese restaraunt in town. If you want to impress out of towners this is also one of the best experiences. New modern updates make the restaraunt look more upscale. Anything with fish sauce will blow you away. Goi Xe Phay. Lau Bap Chuoi. Clams. Drink desserts are delicious l, but one time out of many the milk was sour so be careful. The non fish sauce dishes are competitive but the fish sauce dishes have no competition in Denver.

Some of the best Vietnamese food I’ve ever had! I would definitely recommend the make-your-own spring rolls with the beef, pork, shrimp and fried shrimp paste. It’s delicious and plenty of food for two but a decent portion for three lighter eaters. I believe it’s still item 5RW on the menu. Prices are reasonable and the food keeps me going back!

After work, I ask Hubs to purchase some items for our DINNERTOGO from here. That recent visit was on Thursday December 10th2015. YES, they remodeled the interior of this establishment. YES, its more«fancy» to the eyes. but it fall short in terms of the food flavor to our taste buds. *SIGH* Hubs had the Beef Dish which I could not recall, while I opt to have the SEAFOOD Dish. If I am NOT mistaken the name of that dish is ÑOÀBIEÅNXAØOCAØRI($ 15.95). It comes with Shrimp, Scallops, Squid and Mussels sauteed with onions and lemon grass in curry with coconut milk. The dish that I ordered was just OK. I could have cooked that dish at home. *DOUBLESIGH* Hmm, now I am torn. Coz some time ago, aka YEARs ago, I have been to New Saigon numerous times… Maybe I ordered the wrong items from the Menu. Maybe it was an isolated incident… Nevertheless, I don’t mind to return when needed, coz they have other items in the Menu, that I want to try that is NOT easily to find in other Vietnamese establishments in town.

I have been here approximately one zillion times. I keep coming back because the food is just consistently delicious, fresh, flavorful, the menu is huge, and I love it. I don’t think I have ever ordered the same thing twice and I have never left disappointed. The reason I give them 4 stars because the service is not consistently amazing. In fact, overall, the service is consistently pretty darn bad. But if you can get past crap service and the potential for a bit of a wait on weekends, it’s worth eating at New Saigon.

Probably the most upscale Vietnamese restaurant I’ve been to thus far since I’m usually craving a nice, big(and generally cheap) bowl of Phở. We went on a Sunday night at around dinnertime and it was unexpectedly crazy-busy. Did the Broncos win have everyone hungering for Vietnamese rice noodles? Whatever it was, I was glad that we made reservations. We had the family-style create-your-own-springrolls thing. Not a bad deal — $ 35 to feed appr 3 – 4 people, though I’d say it wouldn’t quite feed 4 adults. Tasty and overall fun(the rice paper skins are tricky little sobs.). The servers spoke enough English but I was glad to have some Vietnamese speakers in the our group. Also — nowhere on our menus did it indicate that they served phở which was a little perplexing. Like, what kind of a Vietnamese restaurant doesn’t serve phở? I later saw there was a sign for phở hanging on the wall(but why not in the menu??). I think I’ll come back and try other items on their menu. TLDR: good food. make a reservation. they have phở.

Still one of the best Vietnamese restaurants that is better than any you will find in NYC and could compete in California’s famous Little Saigon(Westminster/Bolsa Ave). If you are skiing in Colorado and flying into Denver International Airport, make time to stop at New Saigon which isn’t out of the way from DIA for«California/Bolsa quality» Vietnamese food. Could be the best meal you have on your trip. We usually stop to eat here on the way in and out of Denver. This is not a phở restaurant. Don’t order it. Tuy Quy is the«rice paper» dish we love that you cannot find in Vietnamese restaurants in NYC, Virginia… It’s our go to with a Cha Giao starter. Easily feeds 3 – 4. Their Che Ba Mau(dessert drink) is terrific. The hot pots are also excellent.

My family and I have been coming to New Saigon since I was a little girl(over 20 years now!); this is back when we lived in Grand Junction and would drive 4 hours over the mountains to get VIetnamese. We’ve tried a handful of restaurants, but hands down, New Saigon is THEBEST Vietnamese in town! One of my favorites include the Saigon Special– a do-it-yourself spring roll at the table, served with variety of meat and seafood. If you’re eating with a group, this will fill about 3 – 4 people. I also LOVE the canh chua– a spicy/sour seafood soup served over a hotpot at the table.

I don’t know how I’ve never written a review for this place before! I’ve been here at least 20 times and it’s the best Vietnamese food I’ve had in America. If you want to come here, bring your friends bring your family bring everyone you can so you can split everything. First off service, I’ve almost always had very friendly helpful servers. Sometimes less friendly, but I don’t think I’ve had someone get my order wrong yet. If you are overwhelmed by the giant menu, here are some of my favorites that are real crowd pleasers(yes I copied and pasted, sorry): CHAÛGIO(pork egg rolls, the best I’ve ever had anywhere) BOØ cuoán BAÙNHTRAÙNG(grilled beef with rice paper wraps) CAÙBASSCHIEÂNMAÉMGÖØNG(whole fried sea bass with ginger sauce, AMAZING, eat the cheeks!) If you’re a phô chaser it is seriously excellent and flavorful here, but you should definitely live a little and try something new! There is a reason this place is famous. Yes it’s out of the way, but it is SOSOSO worth it.

I eat a lot of Viet food, like a lot… so I never imagined one of my favorite Viet restaurants would be in a state, let alone city… with a very minuscule Viet population. Food: Truly believe they have one of very best bowls of bun thit nuong I’ve ever encountered. One thing I’ll make clear is that I usually go with lemongrass chicken instead of pork, but for some reason I wanted pork. Perfect ratio of meat: veggies:noodles… usually you get two out of three, but they hit the jackpot with the ratio. My sister was having Viet food for the first time, she opted for a rice plate and really enjoyed her dish as well. My Viet boyfriend also had a rice plate and we both agreed that the meat was marinated really well, a plethora of vietnamese flavors and spices in every bite. Truly enjoyed our food. Ambiance: Large restaurant, a bit higher class/fancier than most Viet restaurants. Remember this place isn’t in a highly populated Viet area, so they cater a bit more to the other demographics. A bit noisy and busy, but wait time was super short(about 5 mins or so). Service: Above average, again catering to other demographics. Fast, attentive, very sweet and motherly server. We talked to her about her son whom relocated to CA for pharmacy school(same as my boyfriend). We loved her! Price: Very reasonable/large portions. Overall: Delicious and authentic Viet food, fast and wonderful service and a nice ambiance. I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for good Viet eats in the area.

I love this place! Went there twice in one week! I ordered the combo lunch special and the other day ordered a plethora of dishes with a group of twelve people. The portions are great for the price you pay. I haven’t tried their phở yet but looked good also. This place is definitely authentic considering it is in little Saigon.

New Saigon is easily my favorite Phở bowl in Denver. Not only is the meat delicious, highly recommend the steak phở, but the broth is cooked for over 24 hours to really allow all of the flavors to blend together. New Saigon has award winning spring rolls that don’t break the bank. I highly suggest coming here and getting the spring rolls and the small beef phở, portions are rather large here which makes for a great lunch or dinner. The wait staff is always friendly and helpful and there usually isn’t ever a long wait. Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves Vietnamese food.
