Went here for quick dinner with the kids. We got «chicken» tortilla soup, Mac & vegan cheese, and the seasonal Fall tater bites.
The kids ate all of the M&C and asked for more which is very rare. My curried potato bites were phenomenal. They tasted like the best Samosa I’ve ever had with a gently crispy panko crust. They were fried perfectly and served with a curry ketchup. The jicama slaw was a nice texture and flavor contrast. Amazing food for the price. I’m hoping to squeeze in another visit before we leave Denver.

On a whim, a friend and I stopped in here thinking it had the same atmosphere as Udi’s or Etai’s or whatever they are called now. I needed to use the restroom, and the cashier asked if I was going to be ordering before she gave me the code. I didn’t see a problem until I looked at the menu and saw that it was an entirely vegan menu.
I typically take an anti-​vegan approach to most places I eat, so I was pretty disappointed by the vegan-​only menu. I ordered the Korean BBQ sandwich and a cookie and was very pleasantly surprised that although it didn’t taste at all like it was supposed to, it was still pretty good in its own right.
In all honesty I probably won’t make it back due to my heavily carnivorous habits. However, it is definitely worth at least one shot. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is due to the circumstances under which I ordered. Otherwise, this place was a bit of a surprise.

Woohoo is right! Native Foods, where have you been all of my vegan life? The moment I walked in I was just in love. There are so many options, but not too overwhelming. The food is great and with very good prices! I had a cup of chili along with some roasted veggies, which was perfect for a lunch meal. Also have found out since coming to this Native Foods that it is a chain, which is nice for those who like familiarity. A great and healthy place right in the center of 16th Street Mall– check it out!
